Just stopped by to get some dinner and apparently they’re permanently closed. SUPER disappointed. I really enjoyed their food, and it was very reasonably priced. And the people who worked there were always so friendly. Sad to see them go.

Instant fast dive spot! The spot was tiny. I knew this place can’t handle huge amount of customers. I have tried some of their dishes. There were only two things I really like here. The Oreo Milkshake was very enchanting and best to try during sunny days. Also, they have Honey Mustard Chicken salad that tastes great. It was seasoned perfectly. However, burger was just okay.

I go to Mighty Moe’s because it’s in my neighborhood. It’s probably not worth a trip, but a solid choice if you’re nearby. It kind of reminds me of a grown-up’s Jim’s Steakout, tbh. I’ve tried their burgers and chicken finger sub(and fries, of course!). Both were pretty tasty. The fries are breaded and spiced, which I enjoy, but others may not! There’s a choice of regular fries and curly fries(or onion rings if you prefer). The service is pretty standard. Employees are polite and efficient. When you order take out, the food is ready when they say it will be. All in all, no complaints here!

Moved into the neighborhood and decided to try it out. Total fast food dive. The burgers were fine — obviously frozen patties but not awful. The fries were good but not what I expected from the pictures — they looked like the seasoned fries you can get in the freezer section of the grocery store rather than the fresh cut shoestrings I expected. I’ll try it again, especially to get a shake or ice cream(looked like they had some tasty seasonal specialties).

My go to in the neighborhood. They are believe to be in connection Vasalis Greek Restaurant. It is a food and ice cream place. Lots of out door seating and a few inside. The milk shake is a hell yes. I ordered a vanilla shake. Whip cream and a cherry on top. Malt shop style. Patty Melt yum! Steak and Chicken Soulvaki Wrap… amazing. My daughter got a honey mustard chicken sandwich, it was huge and she was delighted to save the rest for later. The fries have nacho cheese which is meh. But over all good! The only thing I don’t like is the cooking staff with the using the f word in conversation. Its a small place and you hear every word. Happened on two occasions. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

This is around the corner from my cousin’s house so i end up here every so often. Everything i have had here is pretty tasty! Honey mustard chicken salad, beef on weck, souvlaki, icecream… etc This location doesn’t seem to keep it’s businesses long, though… which is disappointing. I’m rooting for you, Mighty Moe.

I picked up a chicken finger wrap here recently. First to admit I don’t eat those often. Maybe one a year. Given that info and lack of real expectations, I really enjoyed the wrap. Very generous in size, nicely crispy chicken, nice veges, whole wheat wrap(you can chose regular, whole wheat, or bread) nice dressing. All for under $ 10. This place has become fairly busy, they have a walk up ice cream window outside and a very nice patio with chairs and umbrellas etc. You can go inside to order sandwiches and wraps etc. The employes are very pleasant as well. All in all this is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Easy parking.

Just left after getting ignored by staff. My wife and I stood there like chumps while the staff was busy screwing around. I had to ask a employee if they were even open, at which point he yelled for someone else to take care of us and then ignored us. No one did so we left. No stars, we are never going back and by the way it looked dirty in the kitchen.

I drive past here all the time and have wanted to try it out. Finally, on Saturday I stopped by. Walking in, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the Gyro wrap and cheese fries. It came to about $ 11. I wanted to see how long it would take and was pleased to see it only took 10 minutes which I thought was very reasonable. The fries — O.M.G. to die for! I was not expecting them to be that good. I think they were battered and then fried. But don’t quote me on that. They were so crispy and good. The cheese sauce was good too, but I think next time I’ll get them plain. The Gyro — very good as well! So tasty and filling. I would definitely recommend it. The service was also great! I thought everyone was friendly and I didn’t expect them to ask me how my food was, yet they did! I will definitely come back!

Found this little spot on Unilocal tonight. First time in NY/Canada and was told I had to try poutine. I had the black and blue burger and my mom had the pastrami and we shared an order of the Original Poutine. Great food, great service, great value! Ps they have milkshakes that look amazing!!! The guy next to me had one and it looked awesome, we were just too full to order one. They had like 20 flavored to choose from! Yum!

Ordered the burgers-I had the Mighty Double and my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger. Both were excellent, cooked and dressed properly. Fries were crisp and freshly prepared.

Great burgers! I had the bacon cheese burger and it was awesome… bacon was crispy and it came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and mayo… the perfect toppings for a bacon burger! The fries were nice and crispy and the Reese’s shake was on point! Top that off with super friendly service and you got yourself a very enjoyable experience! Definitely plan on returning for a quick dinner in the future.

I tried this the other night, I had the double patty burger and my husband had the shoestring burger with the chicken finger poutine fries. Everything was DELICIOUS. we live right down the street so will definitely be back. They don’t do temperature on the burgers that I know of but honestly they were still so good it didn’t even matter. The poutine fries were great and so were the regular fries. Nice and crispy with a soft center; my favorite!

I was looking to try Vasilis for the first time, but ended up discovering it had been replaced by Mighty Moe’s. I went with a chicken finger wrap and fries. Both were excellent. The guys running the counter and kitchen were courteous and proud of their food(let the folks in front of me take a look at their food prior to closing up the takeout box and explaining to me that they grind their own beef). Overall a great experience.

I am disappointed. So, I was feeling blue and I wanted some poutine. I had seen the menu previously thanks to another reviewer, and saw that they have poutine, just like Vaisili’s, who was previously in this location. So I said why not, and I stopped in. Staff is friendly, place is clean and warm. I asked for some poutine, and asked if I could have bacon poutine, since they have bacon cheeseburger poutine on the menu(and I didn’t want the cheeseburger part, just cheese curds, bacon, and gravy.) This shouldn’t be a difficult thing to do, even given the moderate pace of the people there. There was a woman who came in to pick up a called in order, and another couple who came in after me. At least one delivery went out while I was in there. … over 20 minutes later, I finally got my order. The call-in order woman had had to wait at least 15 minutes for her order. I’m not exactly sure what the holdup was. There was only one cook in the kitchen, and he sounded like he might be inexperienced, so perhaps that was it. So, I got my … slightly small container, and took my order home. I did not get poutine. I got cheesy fries. Fries, with bacon and melted cheese. No gravy. I will say that it was tasty, but it was not what I ordered. Considering the price I paid($ 7.50) and the portion size(more like a side order) this was not a very good value for the money. It made me sadder. :( I may go back, perhaps this was a one-off aberration. But I think that if I have another poutine craving, I’ll probably go somewhere else. Edit: I received a PM from the owner/manager apologizing for the service and portion size, so I will revisit my review at some point.

We were surprised to see this place open as we had seen no formal announcement. Once we heard that they had started serving we decided to stop in for dinner: The place is located in the former Vasilis Express(now on Main at Winspear), or former former Grumpy’s at the corner of Hertel and Carmel – a highly visible location that is convenient to drivers and neighbors. At first glance it looks like the owner did a good job with consistency in branding. Once you step foot on the property it’s hard to forget that you’re at Mighty Moe’s. From the bright lit sign in the parking lot to the worker’s t-shirts – they want you to remember where you are. As for the inside, a fresh coat of paint and some design changes make the building feel like a whole new space. It’s hard to describe the ambiance, but it’s something like a classic burger joint with a bit of a modern twist with the cable television and LED display menus. There is a very«cozy» dining area with seating for 8 – 10 people, but as the weather gets nicer and the patio opens this number will likely quadruple. We had a hard time deciding what to eat, despite a relatively simple menu: burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, wraps, subs, hoagies, a few dinner choices, wings, tacos, and hotdogs. There was a small selection of desserts in the display case and I can only imagine they’ll have ice cream in the summer. I settled on the signature burger and my wife the chicken finger wrap – both with fries. Less than 10 minutes later we had our orders and headed home to try them out. We had no complaints about the food. The fries were seasoned and delicious, the wrap was generously portioned(read:huge) and the burger was better than expected. Overall, Mighty Moe’s is a great addition to the Hertel fabric. It’s nice to have a casual place close enough to walk to when you have no dinner plans. The regular and predictable hours ensure this place a home on our«go-to» list of dining options. While I wouldn’t travel across town to head to Mighty Moe’s I’m thankful to have access to a quality burger that I can walk to.
