I literally check out 9 out of every 10 girls I see. So if I walked into a club and there were a hundred girls in there, I would«eye 90.» I have a love-hate relationship with Interstate 90. This review is for the New York State portion of the road only, which is the exact portion I have a love-hate relationship with. Reasons I love it: — It’s the only fast way from the East End of the state to the West End of the state and vice versa. — It passes through some excellent food cities such as Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica and Albany. — You can do 74mph on here without getting stopped. — The surface of the road is really good the whole way. Reasons I hate it: — It’s the only fast way from the East End of the state to the West End of the state and vice versa.(There should be alternatives). — It’s busy, and two lanes are just not enough most of the way. — Cops everywhere. People are paying to use this road but they’re also getting ticketed all the time. — Not much to see — quite boring. — The rest stops are sold to the highest bidder, so it’s the same chains at every rest stop. Gas prices are up to 40 cents higher than off the Thruway. Prices of fast food(and that’s all you can get) are higher than the same outlets in non-Thruway locations. Service is usually awful at them. And if you want to get off and use a non-Thruway rest stop, gas station or food place? That’ll cost you extra in tolls, for the on-again-off-again. It’s extortion in my opinion. And worst of all: — The tolls! Some people like tolls, most people don’t. Most states don’t have tolls on their interstates. New York is not most states. It’ll cost you $ 15 or more to get from Albany to Buffalo. That’s more than you’ll spend on gas for the same trip(in some vehicles). Yay. Still, I love travelling, so I can’t give such a great highway less than a 3. If there were no tolls, it’d easily score a 4 or 5.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Buffalo, NY
The 90, as it’s called by Western NY natives can be all things to all people from Seattle to Boston. In Western NY it’s merely a way to travel from point A in the west to point B on the east(or vice versa), at 65 mph, with plenty of rest stops along the way, that may contain a fried chicken fast food chain and clean bathrooms if you’re lucky. It’s a quick way to drive through the state, or to Erie, PA for Chick-Fil-A. This thruway makes you feel like you’re a part of something much bigger in the world of vehicular travel.
