I think this store should be British, because England does have a very Old Navy indeed. I was last here just a few months ago when my out of town friend made me take her to «the best mall in town» and we wandered in and out of a lot of these stores. She didn’t buy anything here, but we browsed, I tried on a sweater, and we hung out. I think she took a picture of me in the sweater, but I didn’t think it looked good at all and didn’t like the way the material felt and wasn’t about to buy it at the price listed, either. I have yet to see the picture since though. I’ve always liked their sweaters, until that point, which is good because people seem to buy me their sweaters on a fairly regular basis for Xmas and what not. I think their commercials are kind of lame. This particular Old Navy store is in the Galleria, and is very busy with lots of families and teens and older people in here. It’s large and spacious, but I don’t like how everything seems to be twice the price that it was 5 years ago, and around Xmas time, don’t expect much help from the employees.

Old Navy in general has always been hit or miss for me. More often than not, I can find some decent staples here. Vintage tees, tamis(tank/camis), an occasional cardigan or button down shirt. I often get $ 20 coupons by using my Old Navy Visa, which is great since there’s no spending limit for using the coupon, so it’s basically free merchandise. I like that they carry XXL but they no longer carry size 20 pants in the store. Their sizing can be sooooooo inconsistent though. Take at least 3 pairs of the same size pants(and shirts really) into the dressing room. They will all have different fits. It is so odd! They carry jewelry, purses, some shoes, and other accessories too. I think it’s all over priced though. The same cheap bric-à-brac can be found at Forever 21 for like half the price! Sometimes I find great pieces here and other times, I feel like it’s just junky. On this latest visit I left with one tami and some overpriced earrings. A lame haul in my opinion.
