Growing up in South Buffalo this was one of my favorite restaurants. My mother knew the owner Gary from working there in previous years. The food has always been excellent. The Paul burger is my favorite and I always get this whenever I dine in. They have a wide selection of different menu items from Pizza pockets to salads. Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

I’ve been going here for my whole life and never had a bad experience. Chicken finger and taco pockets are my go to with some fries and onion rings. Yes microwaves are used but, if you’ve worked in a kitchen you’d know a lot of places surprisingly use them. Overall great food, cheap and always take out seems to be 15 minutes or less

When I was growing up I was completly convinced that Pete ‘n Paul’s was a drug front(it’s South Buffalo, so drugs probably meant Genny Cream Ale). Their hours were super sketchy(they were like 10:45 — 2:05 on Tuesdays and Thursday only… and they often closed early). But man, when the doors were open was the food sure good! I’m please to announce those ridiculous store hours are no more(Mon-Sat, 10:30 — 7:30), but the fantastic food is. One of my all time favorite Buffalo junk food lunches is the chicken finger pita pocket. Crispy, brown fingers, lettuce & tomatoes all chopped up and smothered in melted cheddar cheese and mayonaise. It’s dished up super hot and loaded with chicken fingers and cheese. Want a tip?: Eat it there. When you take it to-go it’s wrapped up in tin foil and the heat from the sandwich creates moisture that can’t pass through the foil barrier which compromises the integrity of the pita(it gets soggy). Don’t worry, the WHO only determined that red and processed meats cause cancer. Chicken fingers and melted cheese are still perfectly safe for your everyday diet.

Greasy but delicious chicken finger and chicken parmesan pita pockets, tons of meat, just wasn’t as impressed when I saw them putting my food in the pita and then putting it in the microwave :/

I hadn’t been here since I was in HS. I deeply regret not going back sooner. Like most dives in South Buffalo, the place could use a major face lift. But it was clean which is all that really matters to me. I ordered the chicken finger pita with buffalo fries and a chocolate shake. I salivated typing that. The chicken finger pita maybe one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The pita was thick. No explanation but it just eats better than a sub. Medium CFs were perfect. I was hesitant to get it with cheese but it completely set it off. The lettuce and bleu cheese added a perfect combination. I ate it way too fast. My shake was also surprisingly delicious. Super thick. Tiny bit disappointed in the buffalo fries. I guess in my mind I pictured them coming out shaken in hot sauce like wings. They simply were waffle fries with a side of wing sauce and bleu cheese. But nevertheless the waffle fries were great. The stomach ache from being beyond full on the way home was well worth it. The cashier also brought us our food. She asked if it was OK for her to sweep while we ate. We had no problem with that but it just seemed weird she would sweep at such a random time on a THUR night. There were lots of folks getting take out and another couple walked in to dine. Turns out they close at 730! That’s such a random time to close and there were still people walking in well after. They didn’t turn the patrons away but still. Had I waited 15 minutes to go I would’ve missed out on that amazing pita! I can only imagine the people drinking in SB wishing for a Pete & Paul’s pocket at night.

Ef yes. This place rocks. It’s not easy on the eyes and doesn’t offer much, well anything, in terms of commodities but it is good. Burgers, wraps, fries, shakes to stay or go. Well priced, simple & kind service. Right on. Oh and the«fritters!» You’ll want to go ahead and get those.

Had lunch at this fantastic little spot today and simply delicious! I thought it would be good but didnt expect the bold flavors and satisfaction I got from a Greek Pita and single order of Waffle fries. Super good and not too heavy in the gut! I also ordered a Chicken Finger Pita for later and cant wait to have it for dinner tonight! One thing to mention is the little side of hot sauce that came with the order, like most places in the area. I figured I would just end up tossing it out like I usually do but when I tasted it, I was surprised by how creamy and ungreasy it was. Very TASTY and ended up being one of the highlights of the meal. One drawback if I have to find one are the hours of operation. This sweet little gem is only open Mon-Sat until 7:30pm and Sundays are closed. This makes me sad and I wonder how many profits escape due to this, but apparently what they do is working since they have been around for YEARS and YEARS!!! Cant believe I havent been here more! Will be visiting again soon!

After a huge detour to the Walden Galleria(don’t ask, don’t comment), we stumbled upon this little joint. I’m sure this place used to be some sort of fast food restaurant which then closed, and then snapped up by Peter and Paul. The inside is pretty dated, but let’s be honest, the whole area here is pretty dated. The friendly guy at the register could tell we were total newbies. We asked what he would suggest and we took him up on his recommendations. What did we have? I don’t even remember what they were called. One pita had fried chicken in it with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and cheese. I think it would’ve been better without the cheese. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The pita was soft and pillowy. It reminded me of a McChicken to be honest(that’s a good thing). The other pita had steak(like burger meat) and sausage with melted cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. Both pitas were pretty big so I think they were the large sized portions. This place is alright if you’re looking for something not your standard fast food. Also, it’s worth a try if you’re in the area. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find this place cuz it’s not on the beaten path, especially for outlet/mall shopping.

Great food and Super Friendly service! We went in at about 7:20 and didn’t know that they were closing at 7:30. They invited us to stay and eat in the dining room and encouraged us to sample the critters, which were delicious. The girl who waited on us asked that we tell our friends if we liked it. We definitely liked it and will be back.

If you have never been here this is a place that you have to check out. Great food and great prices. Staff is great also and it is in the heart of South buffalo on south park. I love this place and great for the whole family.

If you’ve read my reviews of Mary’s Good & Plenty, and of course John & Mary’s, then the question on your mind is obviously«where are Peter & Paul.» I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think that Britney Spears’(not my favourite person) song«3» isn’t sexy, because it totally is. So when she goes«Peter, Paul & Mary», nobody thinks of this place, but they totally should because all this place needs is a little Mary(i.e. some advertising), and they’d make a killing. What to get: Buffalo Chicken Pita Pocket. I mean seriously, this place is selling little stuffed pita pockets with Greek Chicken and Feta and Salad in it, for like $ 3. Not even kidding. I wasn’t a big fan of that by the way. And this place is also selling a Buffalo Chicken version of these little mini pockets, which in my opinion is much better! Very delicious and well done, with enough chicken fingers in there to make you say«why the hell is this only $ 3?». You can get larger versions too of course, but for an interesting little budget snack, you can’t go wrong with Peter, Paul, Mary & Britney’s. I should add that while the food here won’t blow you away, and would probably be a 4⁄5 if it was priced regularly, it easily scores a 5 because of the insanely good pricing.

They can put pretty much anything that strikes your fancy in a pita, so it’s almost a blend of many fast food/diner style options around the City all wrapped in one! You can get a choice of either a small or large pita, which is a nice play on a half or whole sub. Consistently delicious– Great spot to grab some Buffalo comfort food!

Delicious! Chiavettas chicken sandwich and chicken stir fry pita are two of my favs. Pretty cheap and a small pita is usually plenty for lunch.

Tried these guys for the first time since I left Buffalo 6 years ago. Glad to see this South Buffalo staple still going strong. Used to order from here for lunch when I worked close by and usually got the chicken finger pita, which is delicious. Just had a CF sub recently though so decided to explore the menu. Phoned in an order for their chicken quesadilla, chicken souvlaki, and a chiavetta’s chicken wrap. Was told 20 minutes I arrived early and everything was ready. Cashed out went home to eat with family. The best of the 3 above was the quesadilla, it was huge and unexpectedly had carmlized onions and peppers which were great. Both the souvlaki and wrap were good but could use some better leafy greens in my opinion. Seemed more iceburg style than say romaine or field greens. Either way well worth the price for everything.

Burgers! I had an opportunity to stop back at this South Buffalo staple and was not disappointed. This time I chose to have the bacon cheese burger and fries. The food was good and, of course, I enjoyed some raw carrots as I waited for my order. The restaurant was clean and the service friendly, thanks again Gary!

Anything in a pita! The chicken finger sub(chicken tenders w/buffalo sauce) and chicken parm are awesome. Pizza pocket is also great. Be warned, lots of melted cheese, a small and some fries will be enough for most. Takes cards, which is rare for older places like this in Buffalo. Very casual(blue collar lunch crowd and kids after school), counter service with some seating inside and out. Pretty much anyone can find something here. Menu has some standard counter fare; hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and salads. Some dessert options also, but I haven’t sampled. Tough to go wrong with an ice cream cone though. Two small pitas(meatball & pizza) with a huge coke came to $ 7.31…
