I have a Quest-​ion. How long should dropping off blood for someone take? Try 77 minutes.
I can’t stand this Quest. I came in here with my Nurse friend. She had to *drop off* a blood sample, for one of her patients/​clients. Apparently, you have to sign in and wait, just to drop off blood. The wait was *over one hour and fifteen minutes.* Just to *drop off a blood sample that could have taken 5 seconds.*
I was shocked, confused, and disgusted by this way of doing things. They were very unfriendly about it too. I don’t know how I can not give a 1 star for this — sorry.

Located on the 3^rd floor of the Dent Tower, this is my usual go-​to location for lab work. I’ve only had good experiences with the staff. Everyone has been friendly — and coming from someone who practically passes out after every blood draw, they are incredibly patient.
If you’re used to being greeted by a receptionist, that’s not going to happen here. When you walk in, the door will trigger a bell to ring in the back so that staff know someone is waiting. Just sign in and take a seat until you are called.
Walk-​ins are welcome, but you can also make an appointment online or by calling. I’d recommend online because I’ve never been able to get someone to pick up the phone when I called. (I’ve always been a drop-​in and have never had a problem.)
The location is open on weekends and weekdays, check the website for hours. The website can be a bit of a pain when it comes to locating hours. When you go to the website, click on the option to make an appointment. The select a date from the calendar and click search. On the results page you’ll see all of the locations in the zip code you searched within; click the name of the location you are interested in visiting and then you will see a page with location information and hours. (Super intuitive, right?! Ha!)
If you are planning on going to this location on a weekday, it’s fairly quiet if you arrive before 7:45am. I usually walk in at 7:30am and am out by 8am. If you arrive after 8am, expect a bit of a wait (especially if there is only one staff person on site). If the wait is super crazy, there is another location just down the road at Millersport Hwy & Sheridan.
