Season with Spice

First, a caveat: I rarely give 5 star reviews, because I think they should be reserved for those establishments that are truly «as good as it gets.»
I first heard about this shop when I found their recipes on Pinterest, and my first order was to buy spices to cook some of the recipes I found there. First of all, the customer service was stellar! I realized immediately after I placed my order that I had accidentally ordered two of the same spice. I emailed the company and request that they replace it with a surprise spice, which they graciously did.
When I received my shipment of spices (I live in CA), there was a hand written note inside, letting me know that the husband/​wife duo hoped I enjoyed all of the spices. It was a delightful touch. I also really appreciate that they offer free shipping on orders over $ 25.
The spices themselves are fantastic. Among my initial purchase was the Korean Spicy Chili Seasoning blend. I ordered a medium jar about two months ago and just purchased another large jar today. I also ordered the curry set and I can’t wait to get started making some of the delicious Season with Spice curry recipes!

I discovered a new small business called Season with Spice last year. I was intrigued by the spices they sold, and the awesome recipes on their website. And I was also taken with Reese and Mark’s story — truly the American Dream. They’re an awesome young couple, and they do everything themselves. Every order comes with a handwritten note, thanking me for my patronage, and one order even came with a few surprises that they included so I could experiment with some new flavours. Absolutely made my week. So if you love to cook, and love to spice it up, please check out what Reese and Mark have to offer — you won’t be disappointed.

I enjoy cooking traditional Japanese and Korean meals for my family so I’m thrilled to have discovered Season with Spice. Their high quality seasonings make the effort of home cooking deliciously worth it.
I’ve ordered from Reese and Mark several times now and my spice drawer is filling up with beautiful little glass jars, and their handwritten notes and occasional little (yummy!) surprises make each purchase seem more like opening a personal gift. :)

I happened upon Season with Spice by searching «Korean chile threads» on google. This spice shop has a wide variety of different herbs and spices, but with an Asian flair. Most of my cooking is in the Asian realm, as I have traveled to Thailand, Cambodia, and Japan with plans to go to many other countries in the future (Bali next month!) I took cooking classes in Chiang Mai and Kyoto, have one scheduled in Bali, and have collected a wide variety of spices in my home, but starting browsing the options at Season with Spice and came across many unique offerings.
I have purchased from Season with Spice several times and love their jars, packaging, quick shipping, and free samples. Plus, I get a handwritten note with my order! I also love getting the suggested recipes via email and on facebook. I have learned how to make some amazing dishes using the spices I got from here. Spices from here are so beautifully packaged that they make great gifts. I gave my mushroom-​loving vegetarian fried a jar of shiitake powder and she was thrilled!
