Definitely better than the chains. If you’re in the area it’s worth stopping. The food looked more like something you would get at a local diner than @ a chain. A nice change of pace from what you’re probably used to for take out burgers. If you order right there it is made right in front of you so you know you’re not getting something that sat under a heat lamp.

By far my favorite burger joint! I tell my family and friends and they’ve all given rave reviews as well. I’m obsessed with their rolls! So soft and a hint sweat! The seasonings they use on the burger are killer. I’ve had the Gobbler which was thanksgiving on a burger(seasonal) and the BBQ Burger(Amazing homemade bbq sauce) and the Vinny(thick cubed pepperoni and homemade pepper bruschetta, can be a little spicy is your sensitive). All awesome! To top it all off the people who work there are all so nice! They changed up their takeout from wrapped to containers which keeps the buns perfect and not soggy! I’d go here in the dead of winter to watch them cook up a burger.

Had a bacon and blue cheese burger on special the day I went, which was delicious. Yes, their meat is seasoned, but it enhances the taste in a good way. The french fries are slightly seasoned also, and were the best fries I’ve tasted in quite some time. A little on the pricey side, but much better quality than standard burger joints. Relatively small menu, but a nice variety of specialty burgers. Interesting concept, I hope it works out for them.

Small and the menu is a little confusing. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was a little dry. Could have used more«house hot sauce». My husband got a burger with blue cheese and bacon, said it was good but he should have gotten a double stack. We also got fries and they were a little soggy. Overall OK

It’s more of a 4, but I want to counter the meh reviews a little bit. This is NOT slightly better than McDonalds. This is way better. I would pick this place over TONS of other burger joints. I would like to think I know a good burger when I see it. I lived in San Antonio, TX for 5 years. I had a single w egg, bacon, mushroom, cheese, special mayo, etc. Good stuff. The burger is cooked on a fry surface(sorry, not a chef) and not a grill. It’s cooked well, I can see the browning on the outside(this is where you have to decide how your ideal burger is, grilled? Thick? Red on the inside?). It’s not too thick or thin and cooked well. I like it. The egg is actually perfect. Bacon is good, mushrooms are not dry and the bun is a classic kind of bun. It’s a good representation of the way burgers have been made and should be made. Fries were actually my favorite kind(see my tip). Huzzah. Tea was done well too. All in all, I will be back for my quick lunches whenever I can! I do recommend calling in though because there would be no wait then. Also, eat in the parking lot. It might all get a tad bit soggy if you eat in after 20 mins of driving.

This was my first time trying Stack Burger. I had read several articles, raving about how good it is. Most recently, there was one in the Gusto. Stack Burger is take out only. I would definitely recommend ordering right there, instead of calling ahead. It only took a few minutes for all three of our orders to be prepared. The menu is pretty simple. Choose your stack, one, two or three burgers and decide your toppings. They have a signature Stack Burger sauce that tastes similar to a Big Mac sauce with a little more of a kick to it. They also have hand cut French Fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings, as a side. The have specialty burgers that change daily. The burgers I’ve seen are the mozz burger, with mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce on it. Also, a hangover burger with a fried egg and potato. I ordered a single stack burger, with the signature sauce. Between the three of us, we tried all three sides and they are all delicious! They hand cut fries are better than any fast food place. The onion rings came with the signature sauce for dipping. The burger wasn’t anything spectacular. It was just okay. I would absolutely choose this place over any fast food!

This is just a fast food burger place. There are no tables inside, just a counter to order and pick up your food. They do have different stacks of burgers on the menu. One caught my eye, the hangover burger. It comes with a fried egg on it. They also have their own sauce to put on it that has a little kick to it. I just ordered a single stack burger with the sauce and lettuce and tomato. The burger was good and the roll was good but it was nothing special. We also got regular fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings that were all good. Their sauce is great for dipping the onion rings in too. I would come back here if I wanted a fast burger and fries instead of going to McDonald’s. The quality and taste is so much better.

Had a burger when they 1st opened. I’ll be objective and give it a 3… It’s not a terrible burger but it is very seasoned and I think it has Worcestershire sauce in the mix. As a result, the burger tasted like meatloaf to me and while it wasn’t what I wanted to eat, it was alright.(if you were craving meatloaf). I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and that was a 5. The chicken was cooked great, the bun was delicious, and the sandwich was HUGE! I had to eat the sandwich in 2 sittings. I had a Bar-b-que chicken salad and the 1st time I had it, it was phenomenal. The sauce is homemade and tastes great with the salad. It all blended together very nicely. This came in a big square box. I’d give a 5. The second time I got the same salad. Unfortunately they ran out of lettuce and charged me a discounted price. It was totally fair and I actually think they should make a smaller portioned salad anyway. This came in a smaller rectangle box. I’d still give a 5. The third time I got the salad with shrimp on a Thursday night with a different crew. The shrimp was cooked great and tasted nice and buttery and flavorful. However, the salad was drenched in dressing and came in a very small rectangle box. I’m not sure if it was because of a different crew or what but I paid 9.75 for 3 jumbo shrimp in a little box that could fit 2 hotdogs worth of soggy salad. I’d give it a 2. Overall, the food is great. I’ll just go when the crew I’m familiar with is on. They are always quick with the order and very nice. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity(mostly).

Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had! They are crisp, with a coating of honey. I had the special, which was sweet Italian sausage with sauteed peppers and melted cheese — delicious. My wife had the Stack Burger and loved it. We will definitely be back!

I love burgers and finally had a chance to check out Stack in West Seneca. While I had high hopes for a new locally owned place, just too many things fell short. Ordering was easy and was ready in 15 – 20 minutes, but it didn’t look like they were too busy. They had a lot of special items listed in the store(sweet potato fries, chips, specialty burgers of the week), but I have seen them sparingly listed on Instagram. Would probably be good to keep up on that in all platforms like Facebook, etc since they don’t have a website. They currently don’t even have their menu on Facebook, I found it from Unilocal. I ordered a double stack, adding on bacon and an order of onion rings. The girl on the phone offered a combo with a pop. It was just under $ 12. Burger was wrapped in a foil/paper wrapper and rings just in a paper tray set on top in the small deli bag with a dipping Stack sauce. For take out, it would probably be better to have the burger open face in a box or something. By the time I got home, the tomato and lettuce were beyond recognition(or taste once I started eating) from being at the bottom of the burger. The bun needs to be thicker for a take out place where people are going to be driving with it. It can’t hold up for long with all the moisture from the sauce and burgers. My main issue was that the thin burger patties were just way, way, way too overseasoned which covered up any great natural taste of the whole burger. All I could taste was the seasoning. This was bad enough, but the seasoning was so incredibly salty that I had to take a drink with every bite to get it down. As another reviewer mentioned, you want to taste the meat, but that wasn’t the case here. I don’t use a lot of salt in general, so I do give some leeway in that, but this was beyond it. I could hardly taste the cheese or bacon, which wasn’t super crispy. I had to force about last 1⁄3rd of the burger down… It just was not a super pleasant meal. Onion rings were a heavier layer of seasoned batter and it was a small order(see picture). Seemed like they were left in the fryer a minute or two too long. They were ok, but somewhat salty too, and not my favorite for the price/value. Drinks are super limited to cans of regular Pepsi, Sprite, and Diet Caffeine Free Coke and bottled water. Please just offer a regular diet choice. I made it a combo and would have not if they would have told me the diet was caffeine free. Most places, a combo drink is more along the lines of a 20 oz pop, too.

I had a double stack burger which is 24 oz. burger patties. Many good add-on options for the burger. The burger was good, but it seemed that maybe the beef was seasoned. I personally do not like seasoned burgers, the meat should be flavorful on its own. There was a «stack» sauce on it, which may have given the burger an odd taste. I also would have preferred a different bun for the burger. As another reviewer pointed out, the bun did get soggy. The french fries were great. Note, this place is take out only. There is no seating, just a picnic table out front. It’s too bad, because I don’t know that I would go back to get takeout. Other menu options looked good, including the specials. Owners use fresh, local ingredients.

Checked it out after reading of the opening in the paper. Ordered a triple stack with bacon and fries and girlfriend ordered a single stack. While we waited the chef made us some potato chips that were out of this world. I’d buy that by the bag if they sold them. The burger was interesting. I felt personally it was too dry with a bun soggy from their«stack sauce». The fries were excellent in their defense. Overall if the patties had been a bit juicer and the sauce was better applied I’d be all over this place. I’ll try again in a couple months.
