I started going to Studio 10 when I lived across the street. Now, despite having moved farther away(and into the middle of a nest of hair studios) I continue making the trek up to Kenmore to visit Studio 10. I mostly just go for cuts, as I’m too lazy to keep up with highlights and dyes(Hello, roots!) I also have very long hair. Sometimes I feel silly paying for an expensive cut when my hair doesn’t require a lot of styling. But Studio 10 is the only place I’ve visited where I walk out feeling like I have a brand-new haircut after just getting it trimmed. Rosanne knows the perfect amount of texture and layers to put into my hair to give it body and motion, without over-cutting and giving me odd angles when it grows out. The service here is also fantastic. Everyone is friendly and down-to-earth, while also being professional and experts in their fields. I’ll continue coming back as long as I’m in the Buffalo area!

I’ve had a very hard time finding a true customer service oriented and experienced hair salon, these girls truly know how to treat their clients. Impeccable is the only word I can think of! All the of the haristylists /colorists are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable! I am so happy to have found them. Thanks Unilocaler(Karen Z.) :)

If I could give 10 stars I would. Let me start by saying I have the most difficult hair in the world. I have always been the joke of every salon I’ve been to because I have so much of it and the girls just don’t know how to handle the amount. It is obscenely thick, and somewhere between curly and fuzzy. When I make appointments I always have to tell the receptionists to add extra time onto the appointment because I always go over. I have been the victim of SO many bad salon experiences… until I walked into Studio 10 in Kenmore near Delaware Rd. and Delaware Ave. When I moved back to Buffalo after college I needed to get my hair done for a wedding weekend for an old friend. I wanted to look like a sexy mama so I knew SuperCuts wasn’t gonna cut it… pun intended. I lived in North Buffalo at the time and saw Studio 10 many times driving up and down Delaware. I stopped in, almost in tears because I didn’t know where to go or what to do – knowing my hair was always such a problem at every salon I’d been to. At the time, a stylist name Tara worked there… she took me under her wing for the next five years, giving me an updated cut and adding pizazz with some highlights and low-lights. I have natural red hair that has faded as I’ve grown up, but she was able to choose colors that brought my natural color back to life while adding dimension and texture. I can honestly say she changed my life. When you feel good about your appearance, you have a whole new take on life… and that is exactly what happened to me. She showed me what looked best on me, while still paying attention to my concerns. Sadly, she left the hair business to open her own restaurant(Tabree) and I was left to choose someone else from the salon to be my new hair caretaker. :) By recommendation from Tara, I ended up making appointments with Gina(the stylist) and Vanessa(the colorist.) Just when I thought Tara couldn’t make me any more beautiful, these two ladies stepped up to the plate and took right over for her. Gina has experience with difficult hair – she herself has crazy amounts of curly hair. And Vanessa has a true gift. Both are artists in their own right. They are completely agreeable to anything I’ve ever wanted(even when I came up with the bright idea of putting PURPLE high-lights in along with the blonde and red…) Despite the mess of the purple direct dye, Vanessa turned my hair into a work of art! For the last 8 years I receive DAILY compliments on my hair, even when it is 4 months(yes, i did say four months! sometimes my hair appointments don’t make the monthly budget!) out grown. I have started giving out business cards. People stop me on the street, in the store, all over… just to tell me they love my hair. I cannot express how fabulous these girls are. The prices are decent, and they do offer other services than just hair – although I have only ever gotten my brows done there a few times. This salon is Kenmore’s little secret.
