First, I love TIMMY’s and living in South Jersey … I miss TIMMY’s and regularly fill up my TIMMY’s travel mug with coffee that frankly doesn’t remind me of that special roast available across Canada, Western NY, and other parts unknown. But, if you are reading this you need to know that my experience bothered me so much that I am sitting here almost two weeks later documenting THEBAD and THEUGLY of this one specific TIMMY’s location. And, yes … I did send in a customer survey Tim Horton’s about this location and my experience. THEWARNING … Yes, this is very important … do not drive west on Main Street in Williamsville in the right hand land after you cross the intersection with Forest Road. If you do you might easily run into the incredible back-up at the Walker Plaza coming from the abysmally slow TIMHORTON drive through. I have had many near collisions because of the traffic problems related to the slow drive through and on my visit on Tuesday February 10th I almost was slammed into head on by a car making a right hand turn into the plaza who was driving around the back up. I really question who the Town Planning/Zoning board officials were who approved this insane line of traffic flow but if TIMMY”s corporate is smart they will fix is before someone is seriously hurt and left holding their neck and head. That might be the bad but what goes on inside this TIMMY’s is plain UGGGGGGLY! The staff has no sense of customer service … ok, perhaps they are overwhelmed by customers, which means management is either unable to schedule properly or just plain cheap and not wanting to pay for extra help. Anyhow, I continue to find the people behind the counter at this location(I really love the staff on Cayuga at Wehrle and at other locations.) just don’t seem interested in the people with the cash and TIMMY cards in their hands. One very troublesome change in the order of things is that your coffee now is no longer delivered by the person taking your order. There was a long line of patient and confused customers who shook their heads all in one motion each time a staff member brought a cup of coffee over to the counter only to discover it was a repeat coffee order. When I asked about this the young man looked me in the eye and asked«CAN’T YOUSEEWEAREBUSY?» Well, yea … my baby blues work just fine and I could tell you have added to your busyness by not serving coffee immediately rather than pushing into the pick up system. We finally did get our order … yes, the coffee tasted good and the baked items were fine. But next time I head down Main Street in Williamsville towards the city in the morning and in need of some hot coffee I am going to make the turn at Forest into the little plaza where a Dunkin Donuts beckons and then I am going to carefully get into the left lane and avoid a fender bender from those in line for the long wait at the Timmy’s with the worst service I have ever ever experienced from a pick up your coffee and go location. And, when I head home next to WNY I’ll get my Timmy’s fix at Cayuga and Wehrle.

Park Club location(again). Timmy Hos… there are hos everywhere. Inconsistent but when it’s good it’s good. Some of the employees are so mean it’s almost hilarious. Some are so friendly you’d cry your eyes out. Kind of. Edit: reducing to a 3 because… (1) They have now given me the wrong change 3 times(overcharged all three times), the wrong products 5 times(several times I just put up with it, other times I went back through there), and sometimes it’s delicious and hot but other times it’s lukewarm. (2) Worst of all, recently, I went inside because the line was too long. I ordered, an older woman brought an armful of drinks over to me. I picked up the two that were mine(it was written on top of the cups), and she quite literally yelled to me DON’T BE A GRABBER, YOU’REGONNATAKETHEWRONGONES, PUTEMDOWN. OKWHOHAS A LARGE4CREAMNOSUGAR(the one I just put down)… I said, me. She handed it to me. OKAYWHOHAS A 4AND4(the other one I just put down). I said, me. She handed it to me. Just in case I forgot she yelled one more time ANDDON’T BEGRABBINGTHECOFFEESTILYOUKNOWWHATYOU’REGRABBING. Okay brainiac, thank you. Then I asked her for an empty coffee cup. She pretended not to hear me. Twice. So I asked the nice young girl near her and she gladly provided one. As long as that mean-spirited angry person works there, they won’t get more than a 2. Also a couple of the people working drive thru should learn how to handle change and how to add and subtract. The rest of them are fine, and they love Starlight, and Starlight loves them. ***** I like this Tim Hortons because their Honey Crullers are good and it’s right next to where my friend works that I take Tim Hortons to, and I always sip the Tim Hortons and I have to admit, chain or not, it does taste delicious. Much better than all those overly rich, nasty coffees at places like Starbucks. And it’s usually hot and delicious from here. On the other hand though, it’s still a chain. I’ve actually increased their star rating to a 4 because they consistently get the coffee right, and I really appreciate that. I get large or extra large 4&4 and it’s usually hot and delicious. Plus they love my baby kitten Starlight here.

It’s Tim Hortons. You know what you’re gonna get. What separates one Hortons from another is 1) the volume and the 2) people that work there. This location has massive volume. That’s good and bad. Bad, you may have to wait 10 minutes on a weekend and 5 on a weekday. Good, because of the volume, I have always had fresh coffee and food. Secondly, the employees here are awesome. The owner should be proud of their management team as I have never have anything less than awesome service here.

Ice cream and Coffee We had a hotel close by and were looking for an ice cream joint. We saw this Tims and it has cold stone ice cream, so we stopped to have some. The place was calm and decent to chill, the service was slow but that is a given when you compare a tims in Canada against US. The washroom were clean to us as well.
