Not only do they not give you what you ordered, but they don’t tell you that they ran out. Also, they assume you want a large supreme drink and charge you for it when you actually order a medium regular drink. Also, being a Tim Hortons addict, I know the prices of my order by heart, but somehow the prices change every other time of the SAME order. After a couple times I thought it was a mistake but after a few times, I think a manager should look into it. It’s not fair to the customer nor the Tim Hortons Brand name to do this.

Horrible. My wife and I got Pesto Paninis. Guess what wasn’t even on the thing… Yeah…Pesto. Was the bread even grilled? Barely. Was the Mozzarella melted? Not at all. Was the Panini sliced in half? Maybe they tried cutting it with a hockey stick. Service is always slow(I’ve waited 15 min for a coffee) and employees consistently look confused. Always out of various types of donuts. This place is an embarrassment to the Tim Hortons brand and the City of Buffalo.

This review is long overdue. If I could give any place on earth a zero it would be this Tim Horton’s. It is ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLE. I have finally learned my lesson and will never ever return to this place even for a cup of coffee. Let’s be clear– I’m not setting the bar that high when it comes to Tim Hortons in general. The true problem is the staff since the day they opened. They are the rudest most incapable people I’ve ever encountered. Snails move faster and are probably more friendly. To say the«food» that they hand to you is disgusting is an understatement. This place is a complete waste of space.

This is the worst Tim Hortons ever. I only go here because it’s closer to my office than Starbucks. They are incredibly slow, they have terrible customer service, their parking lot is an absolute nightmare, and they never answer their phone.

When I go to the casino, I enjoy playing roulette. Will I win? Will I walk away happy or disappointed? The excitement and accompanying adrenaline rush keep me coming back for me. When I go to Tim Horton’s, I do not enjoy playing roulette. Regardless of what I order, I receive something different about ninety percent of the time. Skim milk? Spin the wheel, sorry! Today, you’re getting cream. Putting your money down for a shot of vanilla? Sorry, Lady Luck is not in your corner — you’re getting the caramel. Actually, never mind. No flavor shot for you! The odds for walking away happy are statistically higher at the casino than at this Tim Horton’s location. My favorite experience occurred when I was in a hurry at 6 in the morning. I ordered a medium coffee with skim milk and Splenda. Instead, I received a medium coffee with about 3 creams and five scoops of sugar in it. It was undrinkable and I threw it away. On an unrelated note, the WiFi here went from bad to non-existent. It still pops up on my phone when I visit, but the barista told me that they no longer have WiFi. It makes the place even more inhospitable. I continue to return because it’s very close to where I live and work, but I would never advise an Allentown outside to go here under any circumstances.

I usually go to this tims before my overnight shift for an occasional shake. The service is great every time but this one time haha. Well today I purchased a shake and the man at the window said to me «you smell good», I ignored it and thought he was talking to a coworker. But as son as I got the shake from the polite lady I pull away and heard the man cat call me

WIFI was a complete waste of time. Spent half an hour getting it to work, and then it was dirt slow. 0.75÷0.15 Mbps — yikes. I expected three things from a coffee shop, caffeine, a seat, and WIFI — this store failed.

Me: «Is the cappuccino made with coffee or espresso?» Counter dude: «It’s made with water.» Me: «No, I mean, it’s a coffee drink, right? Is it strong?» Counter dude: «No, it’s milk and water. You mean caffeine? The latte has a little.» Me: «Hmmm, ok, I’ll have the large coffee.» I suspect the coffee is also made with water, and quite a lot of it, because it’s weak, but it was ok. The Boston crème donut was fresh and creamy, but sadly, all of the chocolate slid off the donut and attached to the paper bag it came in. It was still delicious. But if they need help with product testing in the future, I am happy to offer my assistance. I also tried the seasonal chocolate donut with crushed candy cane pieces… yum. Apparently, the candy creates a barrier that keeps the chocolate from sliding off.

I generally like Tim Hortons. The food is cheap, it has a fairly good selection, service is quick, etc. However this place is AWFUL. And i’ve unfortunately been here enough times where I can say it’s not just a fluke. It’s the WORST location ever. I work nearby and like to have a light lunch and this place is SO close, it’s such a shame that eating here is literally intolerable at this point. Here’s why… The line inside is confusing. Theres a spot for the«bakery», and coldstone that is somewhat separated. If you want any food from Tim Hortons you need to be in the«bakery» line. The employees don’t seem to care who is waiting for their food and who is waiting to place an order. And if you’re unsure of where to stand, expect them to just watch you try and figure it out. My first visit I ordered soup and my friend ordered a sandwich to eat inside. When our order was ready her sandwich and my soup were both on a small plate as if it was an order for one person. Mildly annoying but I didn’t complain. I noticed my bread was missing from my soup and bread order. When I said this to the employee that handed us our food he said«yeah I didn’t charge you for it» and promptly walked away. OK? Well I still wanted it, however I’m on my lunch break and don’t have time to flag down an employee to beg for some bread. My second visit I ordered soup again and was asked if I wanted bread, I said«YES». They bagged my order and I took a seat. I found that once again I didn’t get bread, yes I was kicking myself for not checking before finding a seat. However, the line was long and I didn’t bother to complain. On my most recent visit I decided to go through the drive-through. I was waiting for nearly 10 minutes without moving. I should’ve drove off but I was determined to grab a bite before going to work. I ordered a ham and cheese panini and soup. When I unwrapped my order, I was astounded that they remembered my bread. Finally, right? When I started eating my panini I noticed something was missing… come to find out there was no ham on it at all. It was literally just some toasted bread with cheese inside. Gross. I only ate as much as I did because I was starved and had nothing else at that point. If you’re looking for some quick service in this area, I’ve learned that the gas station/convenience mart on the corner of Delaware and Allen is a MUCH better option. They have pizza and sandwiches that are very good.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My roommate and I come here every weekend and order the same thing. In the beginning we used to have to come back every time because they got the order wrong. Lately it seemed they were finally getting our order right or at least nearly right. Today, once again, they got the order completely wrong and we didn’t find out until we got all the way back to the house. Out of frustration I drove all the way back to Tim Hortons and asked to speak with the manager. The first thing she asked was«how many refunds have you gotten from us» to which I replied zero, which is the truth. She then proceeded to take all three coffees which was my entire order from me and and asked me not to come back to this location since we complain too much and refused to give us a refund for what we paid for. Then my roommate had to go back to the Tim Hortons and try to speak with them to try to get our money back or at least what we paid for. All in all we spent about an hour and a half out of our day because they couldn’t get the order right and refuse to admit their mistake. I will never go to this Tim Hortons again after the way we were treated. The way we were treated was so unprofessional and inexcusable that the manager should be fired.

This is the worst Tim Horton’s I’ve ever been to. The staff is extremely rude and unattentive. Almost every time I get my coffee, it is room temperature. This location is about five blocks from my house but I go the extra ten to another Tim’s now if I want something. Absolutely awful.

Tim Horton’s was originally a Canadian company named after a well known Canadian hockey player from the 50s to the 70s. Tim died in a car accident driving from Toronto to Buffalo in 1974. He may have been impaired at the time and he may have been in hot pursuit by the Ontario Provincial Police. By the year 2000 they had over 2000 stores in Canada before setting their sits on the U.S. market. Later they were bought out by the same company that owns Wendy’s an american company and they moved the head office from Canada to the U.S. The quality many years ago was amazing. Everything made fresh and on site. Then the american company bought it and it went down hill quickly. Now on par with the american crap. They started loading the donuts with excessive amounts of sugar and the donuts is no longer prepared on site. The food is now saturated with flavour additives(chemicals), the egg on your muffin was made yesterday in a factory and then sprayed with a preservative(similar to air line food) and shipped out to locations and served as «fresh». They eventually separated from Wendy’s, although still american owned, they moved the head office back to Canada and now pretend to be Canadian. Good luck in America Tim. RIP P. S. I’m curious how many already knew this. If you didn’t know this and just learned this, please click the useful or cool button

When this location first opened I was ecstatic! Finally a Tim Horton’s within walking distance of work! AND A COLDSTONE!(After working for years in Amherst, moving to an office in Allentown made me miss my daily trips to Tim Horton’s for double doubles and TimBits.) Things have changed dramatically since the first few weeks of this location opening. In the beginning things seemed to work out well — pleasant employees, fast service. Now I have to admit, this is the worst Tim Horton’s location I have ever been to. 1) Don’t bother ordering ice cream from the Coldstone here. If you’re lucky enough for an employee to acknowledge you — you can awkwardly stand near the counter. Ignore the divider since this isn’t used and then pay for your ice cream before having it prepared back at the Tim Horton’s register. The register near the Colstone station isn’t used. An employee will eventually acknowledge you, within 10 – 15 minutes, then begrudgingly ask you what you’d like. Make sure to give them another 15 minutes to inappropriately discuss their social life or disappoint to be working and be presented with a slop of ice cream in a cup. Also — be prepared to instruct the employees that the toppings you asked for, are in fact, there. when I have chosen to waste half my lunch break in line for Coldstone, I’ve had to physically point out the chocolate chips and M&M containers. 2) Don’t expect to be treated well. It doesn’t matter what you order — you’ll be responded to with snark and an eye roll. Don’t ask questions either. The employees do not like answering your questions about anything. A co-worker had asked what type of donut was in the case and was told, «Didn’t you look at the sign?» Well this particular donut didn’t have a sign. It was an anonymous donut.(We later discovered it was an Oreo donut.) 3) Every employee, yes everyone, doesn’t want to be working — they are always out of chicken sandwiches and they all have extensive, complicated and dramatic relationships going on. Believe me, I’ve heard about everyone. Think Gossip Girl — Downtown Buffalo.(P.S. It’s not very good, XOXO) Hopefully you won’t have to hear any explicit details regarding their sexual life… you’re a very lucky individual! I envy you actually. 4) It took me awhile to try and organize what actually bothered me most about this location since I can’t pin point a specific area. The employees seem to do every position, slowly and without direction. I’m not sure if this a management issue — clearly management seems to be missing entirely from this location. Despite my venting, I will continue to hope for a short line break in the morning to grab my coffee, be mocked or shunned for ordering anything and continue on my way to work. I wish things would improve but I don’t know if this location can go back to how it was during week 1. Unfortunately, I’ve had to live with the heartbreak that ice cream isn’t going to be an option anymore. I’ll go drown my sorrows in a drink down the street at Mother’s instead.

Weeks after opening, volume expectations in ANY restaurant normalize. Chains, with their millions of dollars in R&D and their franchise-wide expertise, bear the expectation of handling load from day one. After all, the differentiating factor in visiting a chain anything is quick, speedy service. Else why would you be there, right? The first weeks after it opened, this Tim Horton’s location capably served the masses flocking to it. Note the third paragraph of my previous review. Since then however, something terrible has happened. This Tim Horton’s now seems incapable of handling ANY load at ANY time of the day. Kristen B. noted in her previous review a wait of five minutes for a breakfast sandwich. I’ve waited LONGER for a coffee(black). I once waited over ten minutes trying to purchase a pre-made ice cream cake from their freezer. In this latter instance, I literally stood in line with the cake in my hands. All I needed to do was pay but couldn’t. Why? 1) This T.H. location doesn’t have anyone simply responsible for register duties. Rather, duties persist throughout all operations. The same person who takes your order will pour your coffee, fill your soup, make your breakfast sandwich, prepare your iced-hot-choco-mocha-ginger-something-or-another, and so forth. What this means is that customers with orders that require little time to fill are interminably stuck behind customers ordering for their whole office or, worse, ordering Coldstone ice cream creations. 2) There are no discrete responsibilities for creating Coldstone ice cream creations. Given all of the mixing, and stirring, and heaving required to break and then gloop together brownie bits, and candy bits, and fudgy bits, and fruity bits, even a small-sized ice cream creation requires substantial time to assemble. Already lacking in dedicated register responsibilities, it is entirely possible to wind up waiting endlessly for a simple black coffee whilst two or three attendants spend precious minutes on ice cream. 3) Soon after opening, the management of this location installed an L-shaped divider near the cash register in an effort to separate lines for Tim Horton’s items and for Coldstone items. However, no one seems to be able to figure out where to stand. People wait hither and thither, and how exactly to queue even for normal coffee service is confused. Further, standing in the Cold Stone line, singles waiting for ice cream are often obscured by the high stacks of items piled around the register. I stand by my assertion in my previous review that an establishment like Tim Horton’s was badly needed in the Allentown area, especially given its 24⁄7 operation, but it needs to check itself before it wrecks itself. Already, the prospect of visiting fills me with dread. Unless incredibly late at night, I find myself continuing the adjacent gas station… where I know I won’t be trapped.

This new location in Allentown is very convenient for me since my office is only a few hundred feet away. I love the décor and the set up but I always wait forever for my food and drinks when I walk in the restaurant. I finally decided to write a review because I have had multiple experiences where my wait time was over 5 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. Today I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a frozen hot chocolate. I knew I would have a bad experience as soon as I saw the group of people crowded around waiting for their food. If someone wanted to get something from the Coldstone counter everyone would have had to shift and move out of the way because there is not enough space to stand and wait for your food. The employees are ok, I sense a lot of attitude from people working in there. I do not think that I have ever seen any of the employees smile. After waiting for over minutes one girl just slammed down 4 breakfast sandwiches and I had to decipher which one was mine. She was not very pleasant. Also, I was with a friend in the drive-thru and we ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and my friend said«there is no meat on that, right?» The employee responded with an attitude by saying«you don’t see that meat is listed on the screen do you?» Also, it is not professional to have a dry erase board displaying the phrase«I want to go home» where patrons can see it.“ If you are not going to this location during peak rush hour times then you might have a decent experience. I will only continue going here because it is very convenient for me while I’m at work.

The interior is so beautiful at this location. I haven’t taken advantage of the study space just yet but I plan on it because it is so warm and inviting! You wouldn’t know you’re inside a Tim Horton’s by the swanky vibe and fireplace. The mornings here may seem like a nightmare because the drive thru is so long that you find yourself lined up behind cars on Delaware waiting to make the turn into the lot. However, the line moves very quickly! Staff is nice, I never thought of parking at a Tim Horton’s location for any amount of time but I definitely would here!

For all the thousands of Tim Hortons in WNY, there was never really one in the EV/Allentown. Decided to stop through the drive thru for a coffee after the gym. Looks nice inside(from my car). I’m impressed with their new interior design(Elmwood and Hinman is this same way). Worker was very friendly, and it was very speedy. It was probably because they just opened that it was quick; we will see how it gets when traffic picks up. I don’t really like Coldstone, but it is a great option for ice cream in Allentown now.
