Universal Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

My grandmother called to have this company clean a rug and a couch. After «cleaning» they were about to leave and my grandmother noticed that the rug was not clean. She asked them to come back inside and take a look. After looking annoyed, they did come back and and told her that the carpet was worn and that’s why it looked dirty. She begged them to clean it again. When they were finished, my grandmother could see a noticeable difference and it now looked clean. They left and my grandmother then looked at the couch more closely. She noticed that the couch was also still dirty. She called the next day to have them come back because they did not do a good job. She was then yelled and screamed at over the phone and was told that she expected them to make her couch look new. She told them simply that she just wanted a clean couch because that is what they do and that is what she paid for. Their ad says, «All our work is fully insured & guaranteed… your carpets & upholstery are really clean when cleaned by Universal!» After giving her an earful they agreed to send someone back out to redo the couch. The couch still looks dirty. Would you do business with a company like this who treats grandmothers in this manner?! I’m all for supporting family owned local businesses, but I HIGHLY recommend you choose a different one.
