Charming Charlie – Buford

This is the mecca of all jewelry stores!!! OMG… you can find just about any jewelry in every color of the rainbow. It took me TWO hours to look at everything… that is not having to try any clothing on, but literally looking at every piece of the jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, and earrings). This is officially my favorite jewelry store in GA!!! I forgot to mention, if you REALLY like expensive jewelry this is NOT a store for you. The price was reasonable and my taste for jewelry is their uniqueness and not the value of it’s worth. I am an artist at heart, so I am very picky on the style of the jewelry. This store definitely has my attention. :)

I’m really surprised at the glowing reviews for Charming Charlie on Unilocal!It’s rated so highly that it’s currently #3 on the «Best of Unilocal» for Shopping in Buford! Unfortunately, I just don’t agree with the others.
I’ve been to this store a few times because my sister, Yoomee H., recommended it. She likes buying gifts for her girlfriends here because the jewelry and fashion accessories they sell are cute and cheap. However, I find that the affordability is the only benefit to shopping here.
The store itself is huge, and they only sell women’s and little girls’ fashion accessories. One thing that do like is the fact that they separate their items into sections organized by color. So they have a section for «Pink» items, «Gold» items, «Silver» items, etc. It makes it easy to shop for someone if you know her favorite color.
With all this being said, Charming Charlie’s merchandise is made of low quality materials. You are really getting what you pay for here. I could tell just by looking at the jewelry that it would probably fall apart after just a few uses. I’m a fan of finding bargains, but I’d rather spend a little more and have my jewelry last longer.
Overall, Charming Charlie gets 3 stars for being «A-​OK» as it is well organized by color and is fairly neat. However, I can see that it is a store that women will either love or hate because the merchandise is pretty but cheap and low quality. Little girls will love it because they don’t really know or care about quality, but I guess it’s great for their moms who may not want to spend so much for their younger daughters. I may return if I’m shopping for my little cousins, but not for myself.

OK, so that’s an exaggeration, but it truly is Girl Heaven… accessories GALORE, the store is organized by color, and excellent prices! Mind you, not «fine» jewelry, but not Claires-​quality either. You can easily get a really cute earrings-​and-​necklace set for $ 15 — $ 20. GREAT purses too! One of the few places my 14 year old daughter and I BOTH love. :)

Huge store. Lots of selection with great prices. My only problem is that I’ve had quality issues with some of the items that I bought — jewels, etc., falling out after just one use. But I guess you get what you pay for. The staff, overall, is pretty friendly. I had one problem with a return with the «manager» being a little rude. But overall, a great experience and a great place.

Friendly staff and awesome prices for cheap jewelry! When I say cheap. I don’t mean like they’re a dollar or less. But at least they’re not over $ 30.00 for one thing. I was looking to buy some jewelry as Christmas gifts. I mean. they are all beautiful and pretty for fake diamonds and gemstones. but I’m not a big fan of fake diamonds or gems. And plus, I get real itchy whenever I try to wear fake jewelry. But when I buy it for someone. well. see. that’s nice a problem. The store is very cluttered with all the jewelry, bags, scarfs and shoes everywhere!!!
It’s fun to get «lost» in there. You can just try everything and never get bored in there! And if you do, then what kind of woman or girl are you?! Fun fun!!! I never thought I’d have so much fun in this place. Usually, I get bored of jewelry or bag places.
I guess I was having so much fun in there, because I wasn’t going shopping for myself. And I was with my one of my best friends. Ha ha!

This location is pretty much like their others for the adult stuff BUT there is a huge separate Charlie Girl section! It’s a little lady’s dream!
I was thoroughly impressed and my daughter was in heaven! This is the place you want to take your daughter if she is 13 or younger.

Store is bigger than the one in the forum (so many rooms filled with colorful things — I’m blinded!) but this can also be a disadvantage. Since there was sooooo much stuff, it was a little disorganized. I wasn’t really sure where the «shoe» section was since it seemed to be scattered throughout the store. Probably the only negative. I liked everything else!

Wow! What a huge store! An amazing selection of of jewelry, bags, shoes and clothes! Even a section for girls!
