I love Old Navy. Good prices on reasonably good quality clothes and accessories. They always have great sales and promotions. I especially love their PJ pants.

Years ago when my family and I were living on Guam, we would watch commercials for Old Navy on TV when we didn’t even have an Old Navy store on the island. Based on the clever, funny, and catchy commercials(«Old Navy, Old Navy, Old Navy Performance Fleece!») I recall how we thought Old Navy must be the coolest clothing store ever! Now that I have lived in the states for almost a decade(WOW!), Old Navy has lost its«novelty» in our eyes. Nevertheless, I like the store, especially the one in the Mall of Georgia. I think it’s an accepted fact that Old Navy clothing and accessories aren’t made of the best quality fabrics and materials. However, I feel that the merchandise is priced fairly based on that fact. The first thing I normally do at a clothing store is head straight for the clearance section, which is usually located in the back. However, since this particular Old Navy is SO large, I am forced to walk by multiple sections and displays of clothing/accessories. There are always several sale items that stand out with the large and bright signage, so I linger and browse these items longer than I do at most stores. A lot of times, I’m able to find tank tops and basic T-shirts at really great prices folded on the display tables. To be honest, most of the clothes I buy from Old Navy are clearance items, and I rarely buy anything at their«regular» prices. The clearance section in the back is great because it’s huge. On the downside, you may have to scour the racks for quite a while before you find something you like, but you may end up finding great tops for less than $ 5 each! I sure do. =) Overall, Old Navy at the Mall of Georgia gets 4.5 stars for its size, fairly clean/organized store environment, and friendly employees. I have never encountered any issues with unhelpful or rude employees. On the contrary, every time I buy clothing here, I ask for hangers — which they are always happy to give out. Some stores keep their hangers for re-use, but Old Navy stores end up throwing theirs out(no idea why!). So if you’re like me and somehow never seem to have enough hangers, just ask the employee ringing up your sale for some. Although I no longer live close to the Mall of Georgia, I’m sure this Old Navy will remain my favorite for quite a while. [Review 271 of 366]

I love Old Navy, really, I do… the clothes are affordable and fashionable as well. The reason I am rating this with 3 stars is simply because I was pressured into getting an Old Navy card(I’m a sucker) and a $ 45 purchase has now cost me $ 116! I do misplace things and so when I was late on a payment they generously«fixed» the fee, but the problem is that they do not accept payments at the store. Any of them! You have to activate your card and pay online or over the phone. If you are a bit ADD and forgetful like me, then this can get expensive! To sum: store = good… experience with card = bad.

I’ve been a loyal Old Navy shopper for over a decade. I get the basics, tanks, shirts, khakis and pajama pants. The merchandise quality has had its ups and downs over the years. The fabrics change from year to year, turning old favorites into something unrecognizable after wearing because it wont hold its shape after a few hours. This issue along with inconsistent sizing has made it difficult for me lately. My last visit here was rather disappointing. When I was checking out, Janelle asked me if I wanted to upgrade my ON store card into an ON Visa. I asked if it would replace my current card or open a new account. She assured me it would replace it, even after I asked a second time if she was completely sure. I didn’t want any new accounts on my credit so I had her do the«upgrade». It came in the mail a few weeks later. Guess what? I now have two cards for ON. I don’t appreciate being lied to. I hope her measly commission was worth a ding to my credit.

A big store in the Mall of Georgia, its one of the better Old Navy’s I’ve been in. Right after Christmas, they are putting out shorts and spring clothes, but I guess they need to re-stock with something, they were pretty wiped out after the blitz of shoppers. I found a cute stripey shirt on sale and a fleece and got them both for 16 bucks and some change.
