Finally found a family owned jewelry store with the right attitude. Great selection, knowledgeable sales staff, excellent service. A pleasure to shop there. Long story short they make sure you are treated well and pleased with your purchase experience whether you decide to buy something from their store or not. They treat their customers in a way that is absent from the scene at so many businesses these days. I don’t always drink beer (or buy jewelry and gifts), but when I do, although its a little out of the way for me, I would visit TFJ in Buford first.

My family has been coming here for over 25 years making this my moms only place she wants jewelry from. Expert team and ownership and fine selection of gold, diamonds, watches, specialty custom work. We’ve invested thousands here with our latest largest investment in ear rings for my daughter for her wedding and I bought some beautiful pieces for my mom– who has never let me buy jewelry for before. I use Scott for his expertise but the entire team is spot on. Good quality and value. Expertise is what I like and great customer service. As soon as I find me another wife– I’ll be coming back here ! I love buying wedding rings apparently So I’d rather spend it here!!!

2 years ago, when I was in the market to purchase my first luxury watch, I thought I would feel intimidated walking into the store. I was completely wrong.
Fast forward to now, Mike Sterner has helped me pick an amazing engagement ring for my fiancée and 2 additional watches. He is a consummate professional with impeccable follow-up.
I am extremely meticulous when it comes to big ticket items and Mike and his supporting staff have made the process so easy and simple.
You don’t have to worry about any condescending vibes at Tara.
I will continue to refer anyone and everyone to Mike and team at Tara.

Beautiful selection but I found all of the engagement settings & diamonds to be very expensive. If you have a budget of over $ 10K definitely go here b/c the selection really is beautiful. Otherwise, don’t look or you will really want to raise your budget ;). And while the sales person was nice, I didn’t feel like he really wanted to show me anything in my budget but he did make me feel like my budget was a little puny. Lastly, I was told a carat of the quality I want is $ 5K there. I’ve found the quality I want at 3 separate places from $ 2−3K.

I’m a fan of this place. They do not pressure you into anything above your budget but listen to what you want. I wanted something unique and I wanted to be treated like a person when shopping for a special piece of jewelry.
I didn’t even really know what I wanted since I’m not a real jewelry person but I found what I liked and they customized it the way I wanted. I can go in there at any time and they clean my ring and allow me to look at the cases without any pressure to buy anything else. They are always well staffed when I stop by.

I have shopped here for over seven/eight years now. We have made some rather large purchases and would never shop any other place. They treat their customers like customers should be treated ~ They want your business and treat everyone this way and it shows in everything they do! Everyone is always friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you happy. Owners can always been seen in store and make a point to speak each time you come in the store. Great service and products!
