Walmart Supercenter

Updating my review since my last one was ‘emotional”. This is walmart and where I go whenever I need — walmart stuff. From sporting goods items, to medicine, shorts, socks, food, whatever you need is here. Place is clean, well stocked and other than the vision center, I’m here often for what everyone else gets.
Its the closest to my home but Oakwood is the same distance but not the standard this one is. Dacula/​Buford area at Hamilton mill is one of the better ones in N Ga and a easy on off from 85. Staff is usually always helpful and people watching is better at the Buford 985 store. why I go here.

Took my car here to get two new tires, they told me it would take at least two hours because they were very busy, which I completely understand, and said they would call me when it was done. I waited three and a half hours then drove there because they were closing. The guy at the door said they were closed (before closing time) I told him my car was it sitting in the parking lot finished and nobody ever called me to come pick it up and he acted like it was my fault, looked at my receipt and saw the ‘completed time’ was less than an hour after I dropped it off. Will never be back for auto care again after this horrible experience.

Very irritating to have to search for the correct price on items due to everything being in the wrong place. Looking for microwaves for the office every microwave was in the wrong spot. Looking for a coffee maker, everything in the wrong spot. Dog pee pads, everything in wrong spot. And to top it off, the cat liter I assumed was 6 $ was in the wrong spot as well and I paid double the price! Very irritated!!! Not worth the headache of going back to return it because I’m sure the customer service will suck as bad as their shelfs! WIL NEVER RETURN TO THIS CRAPPY STORE! Glad I don’t live in Buford!

This place is so rundown for the time it has been open. I hate this place. Typical I guess for any Walmart. Rude and incompetent employees, store dirty; what more could one want to entice you to come back. :-(
Other stores are nearby and truly welcome you to shop. Prices aren’t everything.

Nice place. Good selection of goods. great staff. I love the eye doctor. Cashiers courteous and helpful. It’s nice. Departments are nice. I miss the door greeters. Grocery is very shopped. Now they have a Bosnian section.

Had an issue at customer service to which ‘manager’ Carmen responded with little reason and a lot of head bobbing and finger waving. Very rude and extremely ineffective customer service.

This is average for a Walmart and always seems to keep fairly busy, no matter what the time of day.
Their produce section has a good variety and the prices are good.
I have found the cashiers to be pretty good and helpful.

Worst Walmart I have ever been to! You have to check every single thing you buy to make sure it’s not expired! They’re notorious for having expired food on the shelves! No matter how many times you complain to the managers about it, they don’t care and will not fix it. They also love to shut down all of the checkout lanes by about eight or 9 PM. No matter how many customers they have or how many of the customers complain, they only have one or two lanes openafter 7 PM. They even do this during the Christmas season! I absolutely hate this Walmart, and would love nothing more than for it to shut down! If I could give this Walmart zero stars, I would! Absolutely by far the worst department store in Gwinnett County! if you can find another Walmart closer to you, do it! This Walmart is a piece of crap.

Oh, Walmart– how I missed you while I’ve been away in a big city. I’ve missed your cheap prices, I’ve missed your stiff competition that drives other stores out of business, I’ve missed your patrons that either make me feel really bad or really good about my own life, I miss your produce and electronics in the same store, I’ve missed being able to stop in another restaurant in your store for lunch during a shopping break, I miss pretending not to look at the guy who was being arrested for shoplifting, I miss it all. (Yes, that was all 1 sentence).

This is Wal-​Mart! Some like it some don’t. The store has what you need. Screaming kids, family outings for groceries no different from any other Wal-​Mart. I shop at this location since its closes to home. I have never had a problem looking for/​finding items. Since Atlanta roads/​highways are basically SHUT DOWN due to snow yesterday. I can surely thank this location for having yet again what I need. Kids are home today and tomorrow, so I’m here to purchase a few stuck in the house cabin fever treats.

I only go to Walmart if I absolutely have to! I am not a fan of any of them. Employees are rarely nice and the lines are always long. Why in the world do they have 30 check stands and only three checkers?!? The isles are always a mess and I feel like everything I need is at the other end of the store.

This Walmart is notorious for the longest lines ever. They regularly have just a few open lanes with dozens of people in line at prime shopping times. It’s horrible.

Pretty much your typical Walmart. The folks are friendly and the store is cleaner and better managed than some.

The prices are ok. They NEVER sell Venus Fly Traps and I wanted to get one. oh well. The parking isn’t THAT big. doesn’t remind me of Disney’s parking lots at all. The people there are nice and they always greet me. I like that!
