Went in and asked for two types of ammo and an accessory and was treated like a leper. NP guns much nicer people and friendly and no gouging.

I do not get it about these whinners… This gun shop will treat you with respect if you treat them with respect. They have helped me with all sorts of gun issues… This shop also is one of the coolest mom and pop gun stores left. If this place goes it will be a great loss and all ya can then go to Walmart n Big 5… I stop in any chance I got. This place deserves 10 stars

At NP Guns however I Paid for a gun there web site said was in stock later to discover that they didn’t. They said they have no control over internet inventory. They asked if I wanted a refund or the gun. I wanted the gun. They said they would try and get in. So I gave them more than a week to find one. I saw several on Gunauctions of the one I wanted. So I went into NP guns to ask for my money and one of the owners (Skinny old man The old man who needs anger management classes and his guns taken away before he shoots someone out of anger) said I was killing him to ask for my money back & asked me if it was my last $ 500 I had. I asked why was that an issue? I want my money back but maybe the can make a deal on a $ 40 gun transfer they charge to their store from Gunactions. He said no, they lost money on returning my money. I asked how. He got angry at me and said he has to pay the bank for the credit card transaction. I told him that was not my fault. Talk to the guy who handles the internet inventory. I told him he has a bad attitude. Then he tried to educate me on business. I told him I run a business for 10+ years and the customer is always right & I would NEVER treat someone like this. I said he needs to make what ever the customer is un happy about right and I just want my money back. He told me to get out of his store twice. Refusing to do so until I had money in hand, he called the sheriffs dept! I over heard him telling dispatch He needed an officer on premise right away because there was someone refusing to leave who’s rising his voice and may be armed. Then I guess dispatch asked him to ask me if I was armed. What a joke this guy was. So then this skinny old man gives my check 5min later but shorted me $ 30. I wad to show him my invoice to get him to give my $ 30. I tell you, I’m not making this up! This happened! What a mess I had top deal with just to buy a gun. I will never set foot in there again. This place will rob you blind, then kick you in the butt on the way out the door! DO NOT do business with these people! If you want to give money to crooks and thieves then stop in, otherwise go ANYWHERE else!

Well, they probably have the largest inventory in town, but it seems they feel that gives them license to inflate prices and give questionable customer service. I priced silhouette targets, which cost about $ 4 a piece (they were like 62¢ in Kingman. The store owner there laughed and said «well what did you expect from Longhorn?»)
Most disturbing to me was that the staff just didn’t seem knowledgeable. Someone working at Longhorn told me it was illegal to sell black silhouette targets because they are racist. What? Another guy told me it was illegal to carry a gun into a bank. (Nope, just frowned upon, because you can really freak people out.)
Basically, it’s a crappy business. I go w N&P guns… in fact, when my CCW class was informed Bullhead now had another gun store to go to, they actually applauded. I think that there says enough.

This place is a shithole. The guns are overpriced and the ammo is even worse. They sell some guns as new but they are not. They have been reworked. That would be fine if they didn’t state they were new. They have been in trouble 2 times that I know of from the ATF. You can google it. They take the magazines from guns that come with 2 and sell them seperate. There is one nice young guy that works there but the rest of them are extra rude and you can tell he is embarrassed of them. They always have a banner out front saaying ammo sale but what ammo they do have is not on sale by far. It is set up like a trading post inside with local mined gold and silver for sale along with supplies but the prices are 3 – 5 times higher than most tourist traps… Over the last few years everything has closed down around that older part of the river and I just don’t see them lasting much longer…
David i would call the local BB on them and make a complaint. I also would try calling the Mohave sheriffs office in Kingman AZ on them not the local Bullhead police. It is a civil issue but you may just get a detetective that has an issue with them and can make a diff. Things around this armpit of America are still ran with the Good Olé Boy attitude and alot of these rednecks are either with ya or against ya if its right or wrong. I know none of my friends or family will ever spend a dime there now.

Well… I honestly think that they are overpriced on everything… especially the ammo. I’ve learned to buy guns online and use them for the transfer only. I bought an ar-​15 online for $ 600 less than what they quoted me. They are pretty much the only gun store around so what can you do. It’s better than buying guns in CA

Stopped in here during a trip to Laughlin. Their gun selection is ok. The service is very good as they are very friendly. $ 40 for a box of .45 target ammo is a bit much though.
