Very rude and mean not friendly money Hungry company worst ever called for my dog Maltese said they had an appointment then rushed me lmao so rude they need to learn how to talk to customers and answer the phone with respect and kindness lmao I can’t believe there still up and running with service like that

They were so rude on the phone when I called to make my appointment, that I decided not to give them my business.

We’ve been bring our dogs here for over 10 years and I could not imagine taking them anywhere else. They truly bring so much comfort and joy to our pet and to us. I highly recommend.

This place is awesome! My Persian cat has gotten lots of shaves but does not do well with them anymore and this is the only place that can get her done! Tried other places because I moved further away but now will only come here again! Very reasonable prices! Highly recommend.

When my dog Dixie jumped with paws holding the counter to meet Ramona that was my first clue that she liked the place. Plus she didn’t have the nervous pee reaction she gets when the place is shady. I love Romona who plays with Dixie, loves on her, walks her in between stages of grooming out in the back yard and is a genuine animal lover! I loved seeing other puppy dogs roaming around and trust Ramona completely in her decision to allow this. The place has a lived in homey atmosphere and reeks of puppy dog love! Dixie looked awesome for her agility trial in Camarillo! Thank you Ace!

Beth and Ramona well I can’t say enough about them… I have been going to Ace for many years now — over 10 atleast and they always gave me and my dogs comfort. Both of my dogs where extremely high strung — but every time I picked them up they literally looked like they had a day at the spa. and always happy and smelled great too. These two have a love for animals and it shine through there business.

I wanted to go here so badly. I ave talked about it for weeks. When I called the person answering the phone was not very friendly and they were asking $ 150 for a puppy clip (shave) on a 4 pound poodle. When I questioned to make certain I heard correctly the reply was quite unfriendly. We went somewhere else and had a very positive experience. I wish them well but being in customer service myself I expect friendly service. Especially when inquiring about 3 dogs getting costly services!

I have been taking my dogs to Beth and Ramona at Ace for many years now. They are extremely kind to my animals and my dogs are never stressed when I pick them up. I am not at all nervous leaving my dogs in their care, which is a great testament in itself. What this facility lacks in interior design is make up for in dedicated care and attention to the animals they provide services to. However, keep in mind that like it’s interior this is a no frills groomer so be specific with what you want them to do.

I bring my dog here now and after trying almost a dozen of groomers, Ace is my favorite and is the only place I take my dog.
The staff is caring and the prices are reasonable, not cheap but reasonable.
I gave a four star instead of five because the place is small and sometimes hard to schedule in, but thats the price to pay when you go to a popular place.

I have been going to Ace grooming for over 15 years. LOVE LOVE this place. My dogs can’t wait to go in. He runs in and scratches on the gate to have Ramona let him in. They are they best when it comes to animals. They try not to keep them too long and Ramona and Beth are very goomers and both have great personalities. They have the best prices in town. I would not go anywhere else. If they are too busy I will wait. I disagree with the person that rated them with on star. If there is a mishap they will tell you. They will let you know because they want you to beware. I have taken my dog in with a big scrape. Ramona cleaned it up and used some of her medicine on her and it was much better by the time I picked her up. So don’t let that one star fool you. This is a great place with great groomes that care of the animals.
I have peace of mind when I leave them. I know they are in good hands.

I went there once for hair cut my dog.
When I picked him up, there was a scar on his face.
Instead of being quiet about the scar they caused to my dog and pretend like
they have no idea, they really should have told me what happen and
apologized me honestly.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been to virtually every groomer in the LA area. Ace Groomers is by far the BEST! My dogs are so excited to go there, clearly because they are loved and have been taken care of for the past 5 years. I’ve since moved further away but make the trip into Burbank every two weeks to take my dogs there. It’s not only worth it for them, it gives me incredible peace of mind!

I have a fat cat that is truly scared of even venturing outdoors. She was shedding alot and so i finally decided to take her to get groomed.
I took her in the early morning and the lady there was so sweet and took my cat out and petted her before anything. When i went back to pick her up in the afternoon, my cat was looking all fit and fabulous. I swear cutting her hair made her look thinner. She also smelled fabulous and had her nails trimmed for a very low price. She also didnt seem scared or traumatized.
Overall, id recommend this place without a doubt. Make sure to call them to make an appointment since they dont accept walk ins and also NO credit card.
P. S. I will be bringing my entire pet collection here to get them groomed. :)

We have brought our dogs to Ace Grooming for over 11 years. Mandy was a Terrier Shitzu mix and Max is a Maltise. We tried several places when we first moved here in 1999 after we resqued Mandy but even though we moved to Sunland 10 years ago from Burbank we still brought them back to Ace for the care and love we wanted our dogs to have. The dogs loved to go there monthly and were always taken very good care of. We could not think of another place we would take them. Now that Mandy has passed I just wanted to record the love that was given to Mandy from them. We will miss her and I know they will also.

When you walk into Ace grooming you’ll see a few dogs at the grooming station looking calm, and a few walking around who are waiting to be groomed or have been done. It’s very peaceful for a groomer, without those barking dogs in cages you often see. I don’t think any pet really likes grooming, but they don’t seem unhappy at Ace.
My dog requires very frequent grooming and pretty much hates it. She has been to groomers before who complain that she bites, etc. Though she doesn’t like going to Ace, she’s always happy and calm when I pick her up, and she looks great. They tell me she behaves decently, so I’m happy about the whole situation. Not to mention, it’s affordable and they are very nice.

When searching for a groomer who would give my cat a lion cut for the summer, I had but one requirement: I was not going to spend more on my cat’s haircut than I do for my own. Apparently, that was a lofty demand in this city of overpriced services, because every place I called charged $ 65+. Then, I stumbled upon Ace Grooming.
The place itself is a mom-​and-​pop operation that looks like it hasn’t been updated since the early ‘80s. They don’t have a computer, instead relying on index cards in a box for client info, and all their paperwork is in piles around the front area. I guess not paying for software and a receptionist is what allows them to pass the savings on to me. And boy do they! I expected to pay $ 40, but it turns out that is the price for a wash and a cut. I knew just how my princess would react with a bath (I have the scars), and fantastically, getting the cut only cost $ 25! It was a little uneven without the bath, but I was told to expect that, and I was not going for aesthetics as much as I wanted a shed-​free cat.
The only point of note is, you have to specify that you want them to include the tail. I did not realize that, and I was a bit surprised that my cat’s super fluffy tail was still super fluffy and made her look disproportionate. No matter. I will just make sure to tell them next time, because I will definitely be coming back here for all of kitty’s grooming needs. Yay for a cute and reasonable pet salon!
