I rarely write reviews unless it is super bad or super good. This time it was super good! I called around 3:35 on Saturday and the owner, Mr. Lee, told me he was about to close but he would stay open for me if I can get there soon. When I got there he was very polite and nice. It took him about 15 – 20 minutes to complete the testing. While he was doing the tests we were having some nice conversation getting acquainted. He charged me a very fair price of $ 59.75 for my Mercedes.
In summary:
1. He stayed open later for me 2. He was polite, nice, and we had a nice conversation. 3. He completed the job quickly and thoroughly. 4. He charges a very fair price.
He definitely deserves 5 stars. If you live near Glendale or Burbank there is no better place to do your smog test!

I just tried calling to get a quote for a smog check and whoever answered was extremely rude and didn’t bother to try to find out from someone, how much it would be… bad look for your business if you can’t even answer a simple question!
all this guy said was, «I’m not the owner here so I don’t know. Okay, bye…»

Great place. I’ve taken all my cars here and the gentleman is very patient and diligent with his work. Twice he’s advise me to get a complete tune up before plugging into the computer to save me from a smog fail just by listening to the engine itself. Will continue to bring my cars to him. Recommend highly.

Totally great service. It’s one guy, when I went at 9 on a Friday there was no wait, and he was friendly and conversational while we were waiting for the test to go. (Obviously not while he was working.) It was easy, under $ 60, and I never worried that he was trying to pull anything on me; in fact, the fact that I trusted him was the most important thing of all. Really, really good; not shiny or anything like that, just trustworthy and good.

I’ve been here 4 times the past few years, most recently due to my car having a clogged ERG valve. He diagnosed it, I had it serviced by Tony at Tony’s Auto Repair in Rosemead, came back it still didn’t pass, then went back to Tony who did a revision, then went back to Allen Smog, and passed. Annoying — however I don’t have a brand new car. I used to have a place in Burbank, making it convienent, however this time I went out of my way to Allen Smog.
