First time at Burbank Auto Tech, but won’t be the last. Onik is the most honest and hard working man. I would recommend anyone that’s looking for a good mechanic that’s not after your wallet but your complete satisfaction.

I am so happy that a friend referred us to Onik at Burbank Auto Tech when we moved to town and needed a mechanic. He truly is a good, honest mechanic. I feel like I can trust him to tell me what needs to be done and what doesn’t need to be done on my car. He is fair, reliable, very knowledgeable and just a really nice guy. I know that my car is in good hands with Onik.

Onik is THE MAN. He is always professional, fairly priced, and laughs at my crappy jokes. He has kept my work truck running way passed its time. I live downtown and go out of my way to take my truck to Onik, because finding someone this good is almost impossible.

Saved my car twice now for decent prices. Thank you! Definitely going to keep taking my car here in the future.

I just moved to the Burbank area and thought I had a slow leak in my tire that needed replaced. I called to make an appointment and the owner told me to come in at my leisure so that he could order my tire. I arrived a few minutes later and he was very helpful. It turns out that I had a nail in my tire. He fixed it within minutes and I was on my way. He was very friendly and knowledgable. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I have been coming to this shop for almost 10 years. Even after moved out. I have referred many fri, clients and customers to BAT. We all have the same conclusion:
the owner Onik; is honest, reliable, very knowledgeable and experienced as well as attainative, and extremely welcoming and friendly. I always find my self stop by and say hi when I am in town. If he can’t fix it he won’t and refer you to the right place. I have seen him fix things for free and send people on their way cuz it was quick for him. Old school small business owner, hard worker, great family man and always smiling. Wish him nothing but the best.

Came care cause of the amazing Unilocal reviews and even referred a friend here. I like how organized and professional the owner is but for some reason the multiple times I’ve been there he didn’t seem to care to help me too much. Not sure if I did anything to offend him, but he’ll give extra care and love to the other people waiting but seem to want to brush me off when it came to my turn. When my car needed a certain part to be fix he said he can’t find the part, I went to a different mechanic and they got a hold of a part right away, so not sure what the deal is. Guess I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, such a disappointment.

A couple years ago, I knew something was up with my brakes. Being not-​an-​expert at it, my explanation to mechanics were along the lines of «Check the brakes», but I knew it had something to do with the rotor and not the break pads. After three other mechanics saying my brake pads were fine, I finally found Onik who not only found the rotor problem, but called me immediately to quote me and get my permission to fix it. In addition to that, he fixed my 2+ year lack-​of-​AC problem, even going so far as to monitor the situation, in case I had leakage. When I got my car back, it worked like a dream.
I’ve been going to him ever since for all sorts of problems — from oil change to smog check to mystery car-​problems.
The only thing that’s sad is, before I was able to just drive my car up and get it fixed within the day, but it seems like he’s getting a lot more business! I’d give him a call before you plan on coming, just so he can either fit you into his day or suggest another day/​time.

I was looking for a good honest mechanic. Last year I went on Unilocal looking for one and I found one! The gentlemen that owns this shop is Onik. Not only is he a really nice guy but honest and does GREAT work. There’s times that he has checked out my car or even changed a light bulb with no charge. When I have needed work done that required more then just a bulb changed. He has been a lot cheaper then anywhere else. All work he has done works great! I don’t write many reviews but Onik deserves this review and people need to know that there is a great, honest mechanic in Burbank! Thanks for everything Onik!

Found out I had a taillight out, so I took my car in without an appointment on a Friday afternoon. Took 5 minutes, cost me $ 10 and I was really shocked at how painless the whole procedure was. Really appreciate it when I can relax when my car is getting work done. Super sweet guy who runs the place as well. I’ll be back for sure.

I went to this shop because of all the great reviews. I’d have to say, I agree with all of them. Pretty much everything that has been said is true. Honest. Great prices. Excellent service. Just bring your car here. You won’t be disappointed!
By the way, he is a motorcycle enthusiast and does motorcycle repair as well.

Took my BMW X5 twice for some work knowing that the dealership will charge an arm and a leg. Onik is a VERY cool guy always looking to help. Best prices best service hands down. Strongly recommend.

This place is Great! Was not believing all the 5 star reviews, but they are so true! Went for my Oil change for my BMW, and price was literally half the price of my usual Mechanic. I had a good Experience, awesome Owner, and Great Business. Burbank Auto Tech did a great job!

As a female who knows nothing about cars, I have been virtually raped by dealerships and mechanics my entire life. Four years ago I was told that I needed a new engine. When I asked «Why? What’s wrong with it?» the only answer I got back was just, «You need a new engine» and they gave me an estimate of $ 5,000. I took my car to two different dealerships and got the same BS before my brother suggested I look on Unilocal and find a local mechanic with good reviews.
That suggestion has changed my entire life. Finding Onik was like manna from heaven. He told me I did not need a new engine, and charged me around $ 300 for parts and labor and I have not had a problem for FOUR YEARS until this past week when the same issue arose. The smog check and oil change and AAA guy (who I called when the car died) all said my car was done for and gave me a list of things wrong with it. And who saves the day? ONIK ONCE AGAIN.
I would trust this man with my first born. If you are looking for an HONEST, KIND, and HELPFUL MECHANIC who won’t jerk you around, this is the place. I would give him 6 stars if I could!

Seriously. I called 3 other mechanics in the same area before I called Onik. (Pronounced like «Onyx» but with a K) The LOWEST quote I got for replacing my rear brakes and rotors, with me bringing the parts– was $ 280.
I called Onik a few minutes after his shop closed and he quoted the same job for only $ 100. After dropping my car off the next morning, he calls an hour later to explain that my driver-​side caliper was beyond repair, which i kinda knew going into this. He got the part for me at the lowest price and only charged me $ 20 to change it out.
Even with an added caliper and labor charge– i was STILL paying less than the other quotes i got.
I’m not mad at mechanics who charge more. This is America– make all the money you can! But if i can find a mechanic who’s genuine, helpful, AND doesn’t charge me my first newborn– that’s who I’m rockin with.
And, ANNNNNND– the next morning my brake light on the gauge panel was on. I called and he told me to come in so he could fill my brake fluid up for no charge.
Save yourself the headache and go see Onik.

I’ve been in for an oil change a few times now and each time the service is great! I’ve called ahead and the guy just tells me in a welcoming way to bring it on in at whatever time I’ve suggested. I think they’re so prompt and efficient here that they’re always moving cars in and out quickly so they can squeeze me in just fine. That’s what it looks like when I’m there, anyway.
The place looks small, but they do a lot of business! I’m always greeted promptly when I roll up and the gentleman who helps me is courteous and always seems to be in a good mood.
Waiting for the oil change is easy. There’s usually a nice breeze inside the waiting area and there’s a comfy and clean couch too! That’s so much nicer than sitting on those hard benches waiting for an oil change at Walmart or something, lol. And the price for synthetic seems about what I would pay back when I used to go to Walmart for oil changes too! Seriously, who could ask for anything more when getting an oil change?

We have been coming to this shop since I was a child. Not only has Onik become our dedicated mechanic for our cars, he is like a family member! Absolutely honest and fair pricing and always does his best to have the cars ready as soon as possible. I couldn’t speak any better about this place, our entire family recommends this place to everyone! If you are looking for an honest, fair and reliable mechanic who really knows what they are doing, you need to bring your car (s) & motos here!

It was my first time coming to this shop this morning, which was recommended by a friend. I had an emergency and Onik was very accommodating to my situation, even though he had a lot of work waiting for him. He was very personable, and helped me out a great deal this morning (…and fixed my car!). He was honest with his recommendations, and not pushy at all.
