Is this place ever open? Visited twice and neither day this place was opened for business; on the second try, the place was closed prior to posted operation hours(online). I don’t live in the area either.

Well I actually don’t know if the coffee was good. I drove all the way here and it was closed. Bummed out!

Great little family owned coffee shop — totally check it out. Neat little nook outside with tables that is quite for working or sitting. The coffee, pastries and Italian sodas are all fantastic. The owner is very nice. Love this place.

Dezireé is the best. This place is clean, the food is freshly made, tastes delicious and the environment is pleasant. Recommended for those who like home-made tasty food.

Cool place with very sweet owner. She was so nice to me when my toddler was having melt down. Plus the menu is delicious and I also loved the boutique items and other offerings.

it’s a bit hard to find because the street is so busy and you may miss it, but you have to go here. coffee is good and the staff is nice. i’m certain the lady that made my coffee is the owner, super nice and remembered me from my first visit of a few weeks ago. the vibe here is better than at a certain other coffee place in town, but i think they cultivated that image. anyway, if you’re nearby be sure to stop in! the sweets looked good too, but i abstained — have one for me!

This place is clean and bright with good light and sort of an earthy new agey, calming vibe. It’s very small but I was able to get a table and get work done here on my laptop. The woman behind the counter was very nice and friendly and the coffee drink I got was delicious and up to the level of what I’d expect at any solid boutique coffee house. I also like the fact they have a back events space, and the food offerings fascinated me– maybe I’ll try them next time. I don’t know what the previous reviewer is talking about re: «small packets» when he/she ordered a coffee– what I saw was a typically impressive espresso machine and coffee maker setup like you find in good cafes on which the woman(owner, I believe) made my drink when I ordered. Also, I don’t know why that person would be concerned if he/she didn’t see a sink. The City of Burbank has obviously cleared the place for all requirements and so if the sink is in the back, who cares? They also complained of it being closed on Sundays– it says on Unilocal they’re open until 3pm on Sundays. I definitely plan to return to this place with a cool vibe and a very nice owner and its too bad some people trash a good place based on ridiculous criteria.

Desiree made a killer Cappuccino. They have a great space and I’ll definitely come back for more coffee and to try the food.

VERY nice people – it’s mainly a lady. And her husband and her daughter are running around.(Well, the daughter is running around. The husband is just walking around.) I guess they have a «film studio» in the back, whatever that could be in such a location – just a smallish storefront near the corner of Burbank and Buena Vista. We’d been wanting to try it for some time – we would see it when we were driving by and we also checked out a few Unilocal reviews in the early days. One issue for us was that it was closed on Sundays which would have been a big day for bopping in for coffee on the way by. And despite the fact that they are trying to stir up a lot of action by having special events and happenings of various sorts, which is very admirable, it’s just a tiny space a little off the beaten path, it’s a little hard to imagine them generating a lot of business and buzz because of the shortcomings we discovered in what I think, is the key factor in a place called«Caffeine” – the caffeine. We finally found them open one day – I think it was a holiday Monday. We ordered a couple of large Americanos and the nice lady got the coffee out of some kind of individual packets. I didn’t love the looks of that and sure enough the drinks were really tasteless and bland. Completely lacking in the deep, rich, flavorful coffee experience which is so reliable at the major chains and quite a few of the small independent coffee bars. We also didn’t see any sign of a sink or running water in the main room which we thought was strange. On a scale of 1 to 10 these Americanos were about a 3. REALLY wanted to love it.

The one picture they have is deceiving and I forgot to take one of my own. While the place is really cute and comfortable, the coffee was nothing more than«ehh». I expected it to be served in a mug with a design. What I got was a paper cup and the same design I make at home with my Nespresso machine. Did not try anything else, but the baked goods did look good.

My husband & I spotted this teeny tiny shop last night & as its right around the corner from our house, decided we’d walk to it this morning. I admit I didn’t have high hopes for the coffee, but both of us were pleasantly surprised!!! He got a regular hot mocha & I had the soy white mocha. I usually go to Starbucks just for the convenience that they’re everywhere, but I can honestly say it tasted so much better than Starbucks(and comparably priced anyway) I’ll start going the extra distance to grab this. There was no bitter taste on the finish like we feel you almost always get w/Starbucks coffee. Plus they have fresh homemade looking muffins & pastries(admittedly I didn’t try any yet) and the shop has a cozy cute vibe. I hope business does well so they don’t close up like so many mom & pop stores do here. It IS tucked away in an area that you could pass easily if you blink, so don’t blink when driving between Brighton & Lincoln ;) It’s across from the fire station there. Hey, maybe the firemen go there single ladies!

Such a fresh breath of air in the neighborhood! Cute, hidden shop with great character and a lovely owner. Love that I can get a local baked treat and even a mason jar salad with my cold brew. Highly recommend!
