CES College

I’m student in this collage and i want to say its very good collage and i learned alot and will learn alot as medical assistant. I appreciate to the person who let me find this college. for that today i enter here in Unilocal and give the same advice to who read these words

I am adding an update because i just wanted to share that I passed my NCLEX.
Proof is in the pudding! I went in well prepared.

A great experience. We all know nursing school is not a cake-​walk, but you’ll succeed with a school that prepares you well for the NCLEX exam and for a job.
I had a great experience and know that I will not owe a lifetime of money for my LVN education.
I know some schools do not even have hospital rotations, but CES does. We had ER, med-​surg, peds, and convalescent experience.
The staff is great, they listen to students when students have concerns. The instructors are very knowledgeable and encourage questions and one on one interactions with them.

Love this school. Family-​like staff and a great place to start when you forget how to. Build lifetime relationships and a career worth fighting for.
I completed the medical assisting program and with some hard work and a conquered fear of needles, I got a few job offers.
Their financial aid options are also amazing.
If you’re feeling alone, in life and in career, I suggest a trip to CES College.

Actually Mr K told me to give my 2 weeks notice at january 9, when he was going trow my papers.

I’m currently an LVN student at CES College. All I can say is that my experience so far is soooo GREAT! The management takes issues and concern seriously and promptly. They listen to students and listen to opinions and ideas we have. Our WHOLE class loves the Director of Nursing soooo much! (he’s a teddy bear!) Very knowledgeable in Nursing field, and he keeps an eye on how we are doing in the class and all. The quality of education is great with Mr. K around. I have researched schools (even the expensive ones) and I’m glad I came across CES to give opportunity in making my Nursing career to happen. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Guys, before complaining about this school talk to students who are going any another schools. And then you will be very appreciate to CES! I am saying this as a former student of this college. This is very good school with very knowledgeable instructors. I don’t know why some people are not happy with this school! I don’t remember anyone who ever complain about nursing program. Famous Mr. K. is genius just how he does explain the chapters. And if someone has a question he stops right there on the question and explains everything regarding. If student doesn’t understand he tries an another way. I went to Glendale Carrier College two months and then left that and moved to here CES. I was happy, i am happy. Why? Because in Carrier College they are treating students as nothing. You are nothing there! Even not no one! Just a nothing! You can’t enter the room if instructor grabbed the door handle and if even your step is in the door. You have to wait until the next brake. If you go restroom in the middle of the lecture you can’t come back !!! You can’t eat in the room (Thats ok! Not big deal. i can understand that.) But you can’t bring any drink if that not just see trough water IN THE PLASTIC DISPOSABLE BOTTLE, NO GLASS!!! You can’t rise your hand if you don’t understand lecture! You have to take appointment strict between 4 pm and 5 pm with your questions. So there is a 29 students with questions. Just thing about that. So what is that? Concentration camp? Or Army? We are adult people and we taking the loans being there. We are not in the high school just to spend the time. Ok. guys, read all of this here and compare with CES college and you will see difference. I LOVE CES COLLEGE! Unfortunately they don’t have RN program.

i want to do another review of this school… being that my last was pretty short… first off school is what you make of it… times are hard and things get rough… sometimes schools can be such a pain… but overall school can change your life and outlook on things… i went to this school as a last resort… the medical field wasnt my dream… but schools sometimes open your eyes and realize some talents that you never knew you had… i came here a somewhat lost and depressed person to become a happy working and job fulfilling career as a nurse… i will say just like my other review… all schools have ups and downs… but the bigger picture has more in store if you allow it… my class and our instructors were the support and the inspiration i personally needed to change my outlook on life… there is the legendary mr k who not only has a passion to inspire but also has the passion to create awsome nurses… i started out doing this as a way to make money now im going to move foward and advance my career… and this is where it all started…

I attended CES college for my LVN license. I was only on the third class offered at the school and while I was in the program a lot of changes were being made. My review is going to be a combination of my personal experience and response to the previous review posted by an lvn student who was obviously displeased by the program. First off I passed my exit exam on the first try, however there were a handful of my classmates who did not. They were all able to retake the exam. They were not allowed to take nclex until they passed but all schools have to do something to make their passing rate stay consistent enough to maintain their accreditation. I am now moving forward with my education and the school I am attending has much harsher passing requirements than CES had. As do all nursing schools. That’s part of becoming a nurse.
Now for the comments made about the male director. I don’t even understand where the comments about libido are coming from. The director was my instructor when I started and he is nothing short of a good man who is passionate about nursing and his school. He took over as director in the middle of my program and I got to see the improvements he was making. I was a little jealous that future classes were going to get to have those things incorporated into their education and I was not. The comments made about him angered me.
The schedule changes were sometimes last minute but there was enough time to change schedules around. There was flexibility between clinical groups and days and time. And it was not hard to make up time if for whatever reason you could not attend a day. Also I would like to point out… welcoming to nursing. If you think you are going to have a set schedule planned out for you months in advance you have chosen the wrong career. I cannot name one nursing school (and I’ve looked at a lot because I’m starting on my bsn) that offers a set schedule
The instructors cared. I actually still keep in touch with some of them. One of them even edited my resume for me months after graduation to help me out. They were willing to teach if you were willing to learn. You’re a grown up. If you wanna try to get around doing what you have to do you definitely can. This is your education, not theirs. Take responsibility for yourself. Work hard, study hard, ask questions. You will not be dismissed. If they cannot answer you they will find an answer. If they answer you incorrectly they will correct themselves. I had no issue with the staff.
Honestly my only major complaint was after graduation I felt like I needed more help for passing nclex and basically did it on my own. But since then they have asked myself and fellow students what they could do to improve the program and we almost all said that. Now the college is offering an ATI review which I think is very helpful and necessary. I passed nclex on my first try and I am working full time now earning a decent living as I continue my education. So I guess I really can’t complain. CES will always hold a special place in my heart and I don’t regret going there.
