Delta Airlines

This airline is by far the worst of the worst! I had 4 hour flight! 3 hours of turbulence! The pilot was horrible at ascending and descending! I literally felt i was gonna crash! It was terrible! Customer service was horrible!!! NEVER FLY DELTA!!!

Having a pretty awful experience today trying to get help from an actual Delta employee. They aren’t at the front desk to help check baggage, and they aren’t at the terminal desk to answer a question I have about my seat. Would probably not recommend this airline at this particular airport to anyone.

It was a good round trip with Delta but I feel like some of their air steward were kind of rude.
Overall I feel I just had bad luck and certain things during my trip were terribly wrong.
However I will choose Delta again.

My expensive watch was lost/​stolen whilst going through terminal 5 LAX TSA with wheel chair assistance provided by Virgin Australia/​Delta airways and no one would do anything to help me. This all happened early Sat morning 12^th March. I spoke to an Officer A. Lopez at terminal 5 TSA but didn’t want to miss my connecting flight. When i reached San Francisco Delta lost baggage filed a report. There was NO help whatsoever with trying to assist with looking at security cameras or talking to the TSA or security/​wheelchair assistance staff. In our modern world of technology with cameras at every angle, this should be able to be resolved straight away. Please can I have some assistance with this!

Wish I could give a ZERO! When I say trash, I really mean worse than trash. The equivalent of being a old, dirty dumpster. Flying with these trash-​holes is the same as trying to swallow a razor blade. Currently, I, the Unilocal reviewer, am writing this manifesto of hate in line waiting to talk to a Delta rep. I’ve been here so long, and yet, it feels ere longer than I could ever imagine. I hate you delta. You make trash look like Megan Fox. You are worse than hitler. I encourage anyone wanting to fly, to soar like an eagle, never fly Delta. It’s basically the same as being a nazi.

Awful. Horrible. Miserable. Airline customer service is always a problem but DELTA airlines now tops the Worst Customer Care list. The morons at the desk at Burbank Airport were so belligerent, sluggish and unhelpful it was like they’d been trained at a prison. No, this wasn’t during a big rush. It was first thing in the morning and the airport was empty! Of course, there is no customer support line over the weekends, probably because they know how terrible the service is. If you can fly any airline than Delta, you should probably do it. The few dollars more you might pay for the seat are the few dollars they’re not spending on hiring or training their personnel. Majestic fail!

The flight itself was fine, but there was very very little legroom. Even my 13 year old barely fit. If you are literally claustrophobic like I am, avoid or take lots of Xanax.

Delta Airlines worked with my family under some difficult circumstances. We were unable to travel because of a surgery and recuperation time. I contacted Delta Customer Service online and received a response within days. The representative was considerate and gracious. Delta is the best as far as providing superior customer service to their customers.
They are very willing to help and actually treat you as an individual not a number.
I will always use Delta Airlines in the future and I would encourage everyone to do the same.
You will not be disappointed!

A lady from the Los Angeles airport who works for delta is to blame for this one star. She was the who was checking out boarding passes for gate 53b on oct3 at the 7:55 flight to portland. Her attitude was horrible. She wouldn’t let me bring my luggage on board? I literally just came from Las Vegas to the Los Angeles airport, now leaving from Los Angeles to the portland airport boarding the exact same plane that took me from vegas to Los Angeles. She is saying my bag was to large to put on the plane. When I know for a fact it wasn’t. And hey that’s not a big deal. I’ll pay 25 $ for my bag no problem. But when she has a horrible attitude like that, and choosing to treat a good loyal customer in that manner is very unnecessary. I’ll never fly with delta airlines again. And I’ll be sure to call customer service and let them know how poorly i was treated.

Out of all the other major airline. Delta is by far inexpensive and provides the best service to their customer .
The staff there are extremely helpful and willing to help. I will definitely use his airline again.

After finding a ticket on ITA Matrix, I booked Flight 2204 Boeing 757 First Class from LAX connecting to Flight S22 Airbus A320 First Class to Charlotte, layover in Salt Lake City, July 17,2015. It was quoted as $ 464.10. The Delta clerk assured me that it was available, so I booked it for my mom. My mom texted me, stating that her flight was COACH. I called Delta and they told me that it was always coach and was never first class. REALLY?! I won’t be using Delta in the future!

Currently sitting on the tarmac waiting for an open gate. Just be honest so we know that 5 minutes REALLY means 30 so that we can plan for that, let rides know, etc. So inconsiderate. And when people are getting up to stretch or use the restroom since they previously assumed they would be inside picking up luggage at this point, JUST LET THEM!!!

Won’t be flying Delta ever again… I suppose you pay for what you get… flights delayed. Last minute pilot switches. Baggage brought down the jet way. Crabby flight attendants. Just a terrible experience all in all. Should have flown Virgin. Never an issue with them.

Would rather give them 0 stars but I did meet one nice person amongst the horror that is Delta Airlines. Besides things like 2 hour delays one way, being told that our return plane’s gate was at one gate only to be bounced back and forth between 2 gates 5 times and being lied to about departure times, the overall service (as in no friendliness at all) was alarming and disturbing. On the way home, the flight was completely full, my seat was broken and to add insult to injury the air stopped working about an hour outside of Los Angeles. When I politely asked the Flight Attendant if there was anything she could please do to help restore any semblance of colder air, she snapped at me and said «we’re landing soon» — which actually wasn’t for another hour or so. Being lied to, snapped at and talked down to must all be in the training manual for all Delta employees because it was consistent across the outbound and return flights. Only one Flight Attendant on the outbound flight was kind, but everyone else needs to receive a pleasant personality for their birthday present this year!!! Will not fly Delta again– especially since there ARE still airlines, like Virgin America and Jet Blue, who actually DO want our service and care about their passengers!!!

I literally just downloaded the app (took forever cause I have no Wi-​Fi) so I can write a negative review for this airline.
I’ve never had SUCH A HORRIBLE experience in my life and I have traveled to so many countries around the world. If I could give them negative infinity stars I would. Let’s get into it:
1. Get on a flight from San Jose to LA after a week of hard work. Electronics off and all getting ready to take off (they don’t even check if your devices are off) and we are told 15 minute wait for technical difficulties.
2. 15 minutes turns info 30 minutes
3. People get out of their seats to get off the plane and are told not to do so and we will be leaving soon
4. 45 minutes later (mind you this flight is an hour total) we’re told to get of and wait for them to fix the problem
5. Lady at the airport is super rude and announces that the wait could be 5 minutes or 50 minutes and they have no idea. And don’t know what the problem is but hang right.
6. An hour of waiting later we are told the mechanics are driving from OAKLAND to come fix the plane
7. Try to rebook another flight and ALL flights to LA are booked
8. 3.5 hours later we’re told the flights the canceled
9. Rebook flight for next day (cause delta sucks) and they say I can’t have a good seat and I need to pay extra for that AFTER ALL THIS.
10. Where is my luggage or hotel voucher? Have leave the airport and come back in from the ticketing side
11. Stand in kind but our luggage is just in the corner for anyone to grab.
12. ONE. ONE EFFING PERSON. Is serving us PLUS checking people in.
13. the LINE WAS SO LONG I left and paid for a hotel myself
14. Next day on the 2:20 flight. All good. Except for turbulence and almost throwing up.
15. Waited an hour. 60 effing minutes (almost as long as my flight) to be told by the THIRD delta luggage person that my luggage was in the back. For no reason.
SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY AND SANITY AND NEVER FLY DELTA. I WILL NEVER AGAIN. And I’m a really positive and patient person.

This airlines is horrible. Horrible customer service. I will never fly delta or recommend them to anyone. Never again.

I made a quick trip from San Diego to Oakland — leaving ³⁄₁₉ and returning ³⁄₂₀. I am a mileage club member of another airline and usually fly that airline. But, on this trip, Delta had the departure and arrival times I needed. I was delighted by their customer service. I arrived early at the airport, they arranged for me to go up on an earlier flight. Both coming and going, they were competent and delightful. They made the trip painless. I so appreciate the extra effort they made.

Delta is the F ing worst airline! First the flight is delayed to Sacramento from LA. Than they changed gates 3 times and maybe a 4^th time before I board! Unreal!!! There lack luster explanations are troublesome and the customer service sucks! Don’t fly Delta!

I didn’t choose Delta. I used Priceline to get the cheapest tickets possible.
I guess you truly get what you pay for.
First of all, why would they CHARGE $ 25 per bag???
Why not just increase the cost of the ticket by $ 25? That way, at least the customer doesn’t have any additional surprises when they are checking in.
I thought we were doing something good. There were 7 of us traveling together– me, my wife, and our 5 boys. We only had 4 bags to check in for 7 people. That would have been a total of $ 200 extra ($ 100 from here, and then $ 100 on our return flight home) just to check our bags at the desk.
Fortunately, 2 of our boy’s bags were small enough that they could go as carry-​on luggage. That saved us a little bit. But still, it’s not right to charge extra for a bag.
Next, why did meals stop getting served? Now they charge you if you want the meal.
They charge you for your bags. They charge you if you want to eat. They charge you for the wifi. They charge you for the headphones (that don’t work that well).
Boooooooo. Is this all airlines? Have I been in solitary confinement for the last few years?
Is all of this nonsense just common knowledge?
Such a disappointment.
