Went to the Glendale classic car show the weekend before Burbank held one in downtown burbank so I went to two big classic car shows two weekends in a row to make up for not being to any classic car show before. both events were free, the one held in Burbank was of a smaller scale that made it easier to spend time looking at each car. The attractions for the Burbank car show were supposed to be cars that were used in movies/TV shows, however, there were only a few. There were a lot more vendors and freebies at the Glendale Classic Car Show, they created more excitement so was the great performance. The set up of the stage in Burbank is not too ideal, there was no room for people to sit down, enjoy a picnic meal and the concert. Park was free and there were several public parking structures around the event. You would enjoy the Burbank Classic Car Show if you went there just for the car show and didn’t expect it to be a festival.

The event showcased pre-1974 cars and bikes, exotics, cruisers and hot rods. Every year the Downtown Burbank Car Classic comes to beautiful downtown Burbank. WEBSITE: Click on Downtown Burbank Car Classic This car show stretches along six blocks of downtown Burbank along San Fernando Road between E. Angeleno to the east and Magnolia to the west. They have various awards at 7:00 p.m. for various categories such as: Best in Show Most Unusual Vehicle Classic Award Jay Leno Award Best pre-1960 Vehicle Best post-1960 Vehicle Petersen Museum Preservation Pick David Benoit, international jazz pianist and composer, was scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. Parking: There are plenty of Public Parking Lots — I found a good one right near the intersection of E. Angeleno Avenue and S. 3rd Street. Olive is closed so head up E. Verdugo or E. Angeleno and turn left on Third. It seems like no one knows about this structure and it’s free. Food: There are plenty of restaurants in this area, so you will have lots of options. Just look it up on Unilocal and the world is your oyster. I would highly recommend checking out this car show next year. They have a lot of nice cars and entertainment. It’s also close to Burbank Town Center Mall with all its shops and the AMC Movie Theater.
