Nice selection of swords and knives. I got a set of 3 Japanese samurai swords on a display stand for $ 69; it looks really good in my living room.(bought it for decoration) I also got a magnet and rose quartz bracelet for $ 5/each for my girlfriend and she loves both. great deal!

I like this place. It’s filled with a bunch of colorful oriental artsy type shit and bamboo plants, I was half expecting a big ass panda bear to come out. They have all sorts of cool ass knives, daggers, swords and such. Prices are decent, but i’m sure you can find the same shit cheaper somewhere else, it’s just a matter of looking and finding, fuck that, convenience is better. The owner/manager was kind of an ass though. I asked if I could take a look at a spring-assisted knife, he obliged, as I proceeded to test the tension in the blade this is the back and forth that ensued Him — «Don’t do that, you no bend» Me — «If I plan on buying this I expect the blade to remain straight and not bend, i’m checking to see if it’s flimsy» Him«You no do, blade not frimzy» Me — «Never mind man, i’ll take the black Falcon in the corner» Him — «You lucky, is on sale. $ 15 dollar, down from $ 30 dollar» Me — «How much with tax?» Him — «I say $ 15 dolla sir!» Me — «Ok» *handed him $ 20 bucks and he gave me back $ 2 bucks and change* Me — I thought you said it was $ 15 bucks dude?“ Him — Yeah, prus tax. Me — O_o Me — «Why are you so angry man?» Him — «Oh, haha! Me no angry, maybe my face look mad, I no mad. « Me — «Ok man have a great day.» Him — «Yeah bye!»

I must write my reviews once I leave the place, but this place I can’t forget. Yes, it’s in a mall but the choices you have is really nice. I purchased a few things for my house, and am happy to say I am pleased with my new additions from the far east. I was helped immediately, she didn’t try to sell me, just wanted to point certain pieces out that I would find helpful for my shelves. The pricing is fine, I wasn’t thrown off, more importantly I can see going back to pick up a few fountains for my office as well. This time was for my house. Overall I will go back to EoE, and bring a friend because I really like the energy of the place, and the overall merch they have on display.

The owner is grumpy, cagey, and possibly high on drugs. That being said he is a gatekeeper of a fantastic world of incredible Oriental tools to make both love AND war with. Bargain with him and you will win here.

If you’re Chinese, shame on you if you buy anything here. $ 13 for a bok-mo(oriental hat with a queue)? That’s a 500% mark-up from the tourist rip-off places in Hong Kong but since you ain’t flying over there, you know better to drive a few extra miles to the 626 or Chinatown and get stuff cheaper. If you’re rich or you don’t care about prices or you want to save gas, I guess you should pick up the marble buddha or the bamboo fountain here. Need a plant? 50% off all bamboos… still expensive though. They even have swords and little paperweights and all sorts of feng shui stuff. They even post recommendations about buying a money frog to get more money. Better read some books when it comes to feng shui stuff. This store does have a ton of variety but I think I still rather get ripped off in Chinatown or San Gabriel than from a store in the mall.
