BE CAREFUL! The parent company raises rates after the initial 4 – 5 months. No exceptions. Then they raise rates every 6 to 9 months for the entirety of the contract. They bank on the fact that you will pay the increases, instead of moving all your stuff to a new place.

Extra-​Space helped me out when I was between apartments and have to travel with work. They provided a clean, secure climate controlled space my my belongings while I was away. The price I paid was a bargain in my opinion.
Val, the assistant store manager was on hand to answer any questions I had and he was an absolute star. If you want first class service then go and see Val at Extra-​Space on Verdugo!
Great customer service and Extra Space will be the first place I call when I need more storage space.

The lady who works in the evening is the rudest most awful customer service person you will talk to. Their elevators are always broken and their staff is extremely rude. If your are looking for storage needs I recommend you do not go here. They also raise the rent 2 months after got my storage. If you already a customer, sorry and speak to the agent in the morning for your concerns.

Found this storage center on line through Unilocal and was able to initiate my reservation on their web-​site. Before I was through I got a call from the on-​site manager, Val, and he was able to quickly complete the process. More importantly he was able to talk about the different locations and their particular benefits. When I got there we walked the two units and then went to the office to complete the paper work. He was very professional and courteous.
The reason I’m not giving them a 5 star is that when they show the price on line they do not clearly, or at to me, indicate that you will have to provide insurance for you locker or take theirs, which of course adds to the cost. A disclosure of a rate increase is indicated to occur within 4 or 5 months. Which is a bit soon in my opinion. I would expect to have a least a 6 month rate lock. Regardless, I found the process fairly painless and would recommend them.

So far, so good! Sign-​up was easy, staff pleasant and helpful, and the elevator (while old and creaky) worked perfectly. What more could I ask?

Just excellent service. When I arrived they were having an issue with their internet service. The manager could have turned me away but instead she enlisted the help of another office via the phone and got me set up. I was moved in and out of there in less than an hour. Love it!

This place is great. It is clean, has 24 hour access, reasonable rates, good location for an entertainment company. They recently repaved their lot, so it feels very new. We had been with them for over 4 years but decided it was time to give up the storage as we had available space in our leased building. I misunderstood their policy, thought we had to pay as usual (up front) for the month, but then we could leave early and have a pro-​rated refund. As it turns out, you can pro-​rate, but you only pay up front for as long as you think you’ll be in the space. So my company paid a month in advance and we thought we’d get a refund. However… when we went to move all our items out, the gentleman at the office said they do not provide refunds, so if we had already paid in advance, we were locked in for a month’s rent. We had 7 days left in the current month, so we would have had 37 days of empty storage paid for… As luck would have it, he had just received my check and it was in his hand. He had stamped it and was about to deposit it. To my surprise, he said we could have it back and since we gave enough notice, he would let us out of our commitment. I think this is very good business and if I ever need storage in Burbank, I will remember this gesture of kindness (and smart business).

I’ve looked at many different storage places and came across this one. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Bernadette was very helpful in assisting me in my storage needs. The storage places are spacious and very clean. Reasonable pricing as well. I highly recommend renting storage from here.

The staff at Extra Space Storage are rude, unprofessional, lazy and not helpful in any way. My fiancée and I went there to buy moving boxes for our move and the staff made this simple process aggravating. Upon arrival the staff members were to busy socializing to greet us and offer their help. We asked them for moving boxes and they just pointed to the boxes they had and did not offer any additional help. We purchased some boxes and left. The boxes were fine, however we realized that we needed smaller boxes, so we planned to go back and exchange three large boxes for smaller boxes. When I went back to return the boxes I was again coldly greeted by the same two staff members, and I asked them nicely if could exchange the large boxes for small boxes they both said that they could be exchanged only if I had a receipt (it did matter that the boxes were clearly branded with their logo). They did nothing to help me with this simple request, they simply went back to their conversation as if I had interrupted them. Unacceptable customer service.

This place was perfect for what I was looking for in Burbank. The staff was very helpful and quick at getting me what I needed, the documentation process was quick and easy. They even sale the good quality code lock for your storage space. No need to stop by the Hardware store. The facility is well maintain, too.

The front desk attendant was less than happy to help me the day I arrived at my scheduled appointment time to set up my account. It was a Saturday and I walked in on her eating her lunch, which she then had to put down to assist me. She was bothered and not exactly thrilled that I was there.
The storage unit that I was given was NOTHING like the website makes it seem. False advertisement at it’s best. While I realize I didn’t pay for the most expensive unit, I was expecting a little more than something that feels like a run down camp cabin with no lighting whatsoever in my storage. Everything is all wooden, even the interior of the building itself (the flooring, stairs and unit).
**Most importantly: THEIR CARGO ELEVATOR DOESN’T WORK HALF THE TIME. The day I arrived with a uHaul full of my belongings from an apartment I had just moved out of, the not so friendly front desk attendant could’t get it to work to which she replied «if I can’t get this working I can’t rent you the unit». Seriously? Everything I own is waiting to be put into this storage facility. After much finagling (which really means my boyfriend repeatedly beating the door trying to get it to open), the elevator is incredibly small and requires multiple trips. It’s also an awkward design that makes it even more difficult to get your things into.
This particular facility serves it purpose, but I was hoping for a better experience.

We were moving out of a 4 bedroom large house to a smaller space and in the meantime (about a month) needed a large storage space. We got a pretty decent size storage and prices were alright. We had easy access to all of our stuff throughout the month and everything was perfect until our moving day into our new condo. We were to meet the movers at the storage to pick up our things and unbeknownst to us they had blocked our access key and we couldn’t get in. Mind you my mother was in their office the day before paying everything out. So imagine being there at 8am in the morning with the movers, on MOVING DAY and not being able to get to your stuff… and on top of that not having any employees on site to help us. My mom called the manager and after a while the situation was fixed, but the whole thing was a mess and needless to say an additional stress on an already stressful day. Not cool.

This place is fantastic and the staff are kind and congenial. The space is clean looking and I feel very safe leaving my valuables here.

Higher level manager called me to apologize after my access had been denied. He understood that my plans had been pushed back a few weeks because of a lift gate that gets stuck. He also understood that I have lost a lot if money.
I appreciate the respect and the attention given to me. I told ‘em I’d stay but they still haven’t fixed the lift gate. Bizarre how their maintenance guy can’t add a little oil to the right places.

This place is horrible. The numbering system or storage units makes zero sense. I’m here helping a friend that has not been to their unit in over a year, and we can’t find it, and the front desk is no help either.

Friendly staff with a great sense of humor, reasonable prices, and clean look. Perfect!

We’ve been storing our stuff here for a while. Every time I go there, my stuff is still there, so… yeah.
