Hollywood Sound Systems

Hollywood Sound is the place to go for PA Systems, etc. I have used them for 20 years and they are incredibly friendly, reasonable and competent!

I went in to rent some lavalier mics, not knowing too much about them. Was greeted by the gregarious and highly knowledgable Les. He took me and my partner back to a cavernous room filled with equipment, talking us through everything, and then to top it off he took us into his microphone museum and taught us about the history of microphones. By the end my partner and I had the exact equipment we needed, knew tons about microphones, and the prices were amazing. So grateful to know Les and Hollywood Sound Systems.
Note: I actually passed right by it the first time, as there is no sign, and the building looks like it came from the 50s. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. This is the place to go for professional sound.

I could rant for hours about the consistent level of professionalism and courteous nature of the staff, quality of the equipment and the especially high amount of very useful knowledge that HSS has to offer their clients. But I must say the the most remarkable thing that sets them apart is their amazing attention to the customer experience. HSS employees take the time to know their customers personally, and have proactively made my job as an engineer immeasurably easier. And when I recommend them to clients whom I cannot work with myself, I always boast about their uncanny expertise and the level of satisfaction that the end user will undoubtedly experience. And to this day they have not made a liar out of me.
Hollywood Sound Systems are the one and ONLY company that I trust enough to rent from and hire exclusively. And anyone else in need of top quality sound, great staff, and some of the best rates in town need look no further.
