I’ve been coming to Dr. Mandi’s for over a decade and have always been pleased with her services. Prior to making the change to her I had tried other dental offices that didn’t attend to my needs. Dr. Mandi understand what I wanted and guided me through the process on what needed to be done. She’s an excellent dentist who cares for the needs of her clients and makes your dental visit a wonderful experience.

I hate writing bad reviews but I had to warn others off this one. I was a patient here for 4 years. I trusted her based on a friend’s referral. I made the mistake of trusting her to fix my not too crooked teeth. 4 years after, i was still wearing my braces and there did not seem to be an end to it, mind you I went every month for adjustments except for when I was preggo and seeing her every 2 months. I finally had the nerve to seek a 2nd opinion from a top ortho in Pasadena and she found a bunch of problems with my bite, my arch, etc etc.(Short of saying it was a botched ortho job, but she was too pro to say it). Really!!! 4 years of braceface and I still have issues? Fast forward to last month after finishing a year of invisalign with my new ortho, my xrays are 100times better and my before and after bite photos are remarkably improved! I’d say my new ortho did more in 1 year than 4 years of being with Dr Mandi. I gave 2 stars because she sure was personable as well as her secretary. And I was never in any pain from the hundreds of cleaning and filling I got. I really liked them but 4 years is too long to stay with someone just cause you«like» them.

Not a fan. Was referred Dr Mandi through a friend of my sister. Sort of desperate for a good cleaning and someone close to my home I thought I’d give Dr Mandi a shot. I visited 4 times total. Here’s the rundown. The staff and Dr Mandi were fine and fairly personable. The office is conveniently located in a strip mall in Studio City. Those were the 2 things that were ok. There lacked a sense of privacy in the office and the chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs ever. On my first visit, Dr Mandi found a total of 9 cavities which completely surprised me as I have really decent oral hygiene by brushing 2x daily and flossing daily. I had all 9 filled. Came back 6 months later for another check up and she found 8 more cavities. How is this possible I asked? She said some people had weaker teeth than normal. I gave in and got those taken care of. On my final visit she found 5 more cavities and we discussed replacing one of my veneers(I have 2 from breaking my front teeth as a kid). She discussed the options, took a look at my veneers and said to her assistant, «I’m going to have to break the hell out of that one.» Ok so I was feeling pretty much like I was visiting the dentist from Little Shop of Horrors. You know, the one that enjoyed inflicting pain on their patients. Needless to say, I didn’t go back. I didn’t get my veneers replaced not did I get the 5 fillings that were suggested. In fact I found another wonderful dentist in Burbank that stated I had no cavities and my veneers were just fine. It makes me wonder if my previous 17 fillings were necessary or if she had a different agenda with all the work that was done. I highly recommend staying away from this dental practice. The office in the strip mall should have driven me away in the first place.
