Mark Imhoff, PhD

Dr Imhoff is skilled, accepting and flexible. I have seen him for many years now and I can tell you that his compassionate nature and his professionalism is the best I have ever encountered. He has helped me work through so many problems and issues in my life. If you want a Dr who can really listen and help without judging, this is the Doctor for you.

I absolutely agree with negative review above…
He is acting and his facial expression and body language says — «he heard it all — it’s extremely boring — I don’t care at all» — «can we pls. talk about something interesting to me»…
He won’t ask questions and won’t analyze anything… As long as you talk — conversation is happening, one’s you stop — you are in the middle of uncomfortable silence and he really doesn’t care. If you want him to talk — talk about him :)
I am guessing the therapy in his case is — «free ears for 200 $/​per hour» :)))
«Addictions are stupid» and «people that are addicts — are losers» — this is the approach…

I saw Dr. Imhoff in a time of turmoil for me. I have lead a successful life in business and relationships. I found my business floundering, my marriage uncomfortable, my grown kids not wanting anything to do with me and friends avoiding me.
Dr. Imhoff was understanding, compassionate, helpful, respectful and insightful. He was interested and unhurried but very effective and to the point.
As my business was floundering I was blaming everything on everybody else and not accepting responsibility. I was no longer fun and always worried. When I stopped blaming others and took responsibility I did something about it. Wow what a difference.
It didn’t take many sessions to turn things around and for me to face the facts and do what needed to be done. You expect a psychologist to help with relationships but to do something that helps you turn your business around also was invaluable.

This guy was absolutely Horrible!, he looked as if he were heavily medicated on something very strong and was not actually here on this planet with you. First you come into a room and the other door is locked so I sit down. Some minutes later he comes straggling in telling me to sign a form and… now were talking about my problems or what not and I’m looking at him and he’s nodding off, looking around and several times he openly sighed very loud.
He offered no insight he just listened and gave me weak half hearted replies, he had no direction, no focus and no skill. He didn’t even know my first name he tried to rescheduled me at the end asking what is your last name, like W O W .
I think you need help Dude, you know you need to quit
