Mathilda’s Day Care

This is the best place I found! My baby have a lot of fun and learn fast the teacher is Carmen she has more than 20 years of experience and is adorable like mom for everyone she has pacience and care about every detail for each kid she has, I need move to another city now I feel sad to left her she is the best and make me feel save when I drop my little one every day. I will miss her because she also became my friend and her personality is always positive.

We came to Carmen’s after not being satisfied with another at-​home daycare in another city. I knew from the first time I met her I could trust her to care for my children. She has that instinct. that «mom» thing about her. At another place, my child screamed and cried every time I left them. WIth Carmen, they were so excited to get out of the car and start to play. She has handled everything sweetly, kindly and professionally. I really do feel as though she is «part of the family». I also have had to ask her for help in emergencies such as nights and weekends and she there for me! My daughter has gone onto school but my son still goes there. I know how much he’s learning by what he says and does after a day at Carmens! She’s irreplaceable, really.

I cannot recommend Mathilda’s Day Care enough! Our family ADORES Carmen and we are so thankful we found her!
I could tell from our very first meeting how much she genuinely cares for each child, and how much they loved being with her. My son started here when he was 5 months old and she helped make the transition so smooth for all of us — for the first few months she would write down his daily schedule including bottles, diapers and naps (as an always-​anxious first-​time mom I loved this!) and she texts photos of him throughout the day so we can see how much fun he is having. Carmen always has tons of activities planned for the kids, and our son comes home happy and tired each day.
If you’re looking for a loving, home environment for your child, this is certainly the place. Mathilda’s is fully licensed and her prices are great. But what really makes this place so wonderful is how much everyone feels like family.

I don’t know where to begin! Carmen is like family. She really seems to love our daughter like she’s her own. This is not a place where you drop your kid off only to have them merely watched for the day. Carmen plans activities and sends us pictures of our daughter throughout the day so that we can see what she’s doing. There’s circle time, bubbles, singing, dancing, they make play dough, tell stories, walk to the park, etc.
My daughter is always exhausted when I pick her up and she falls right to sleep in the car. We don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t found Carmen. We’re so grateful to her!

I don’t write a lot of reviews so a business has to really stand out (for good or bad) for me to take the time. I feel so fortunate to have discovered Mathilda’s Day Care! Carmen runs the day-​care from her home and is amazing. I don’t know what we’d do without her.
It feels like we’re leaving our daughter with family when we drop her off in the morning. She is always excited to visit Carmen and play with the other kids. Carmen always has a lot of activities planned so our daughter takes nice long naps when we get her back in the afternoon. We also get photos texted so we can see the fun our daughter is having (which is awesome).
The prices are very reasonable and Carmen is flexible with hours. I cannot recommend her enough!

Carmen runs a licensed in-​home day care. She has a former school teacher, over 30 years of experience, and has an early childhood education degree. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and gives me great daily updates on my child.
My child feels very comfortable there and I love it because she is in a safe, nurturing environment.
Because this is an in-​home day care, she only takes a couple kids at a time. I definitely recommend her!
