Once again Mighty Mike Plumbing to the rescue! When a client called me in panic saying she had a broken sprinkler line and there was water running down the neighborhood street I called Mighty Mike plumbing who after identifying the urgency pulled a crew man from a job to help him in this emergency. His prompt response to this unexpected situation put Mighty Mike Plumbing on my clients number one list.

Honesty, Integrity, and Courtesy… not exactly what you would expect from a Plumber… BUT YOU WILL WITH MIGHTY MIKE PLUMBING COMPANY. I had a stoppage with my kitchen Faucet. MM’s tech guy, extremely nice and polite came over and diagnosed that I need two new valves/angles…We replaced them and still the HOT water stream was coming out weak and without any force. (Cold water worked perfectly)
I asked him to call an associate… without any hesitation or arrogance… he did. Associate recommended him to check my supply line. He did and he found a small piece of rubber (perhaps from a broken washer) lodged in the hose at the tip. I gave him some eyebrow tweezers and in 5 seconds, the faucet was working as before!
The tech guy still charged me $ 180.00. I told him I didn’t feel that was right, but he was not the owner, only an employee and was following orders.
I wrote him a check and off he went. The following Monday, I called and spoke to the Owner. I explained everything and he said, «I’m sorry we took up your time and didn’t diagnose it properly the first time… I’m not going to cash the check!» I cleaned out my ear and looked into the phone again and said, «Could you please repeat that?» And he said, «I want you to be happy and think of me, my company the next time you need a plumber.»
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! ABSOLUTELY I WILL!!!
I can’t tell you how wonderful it felt to find someone nowadays with such morals and work ethics. I cannot implore any of you reading this review more… if you need a plumber, CALL MIGHTY MIKE PLUMBING… THE GUY IS A SAINT!!!

Thoroughly disappointed. would explain details but do not want to deal with potential retaliation.

Had water heater replaced a year ago and valve $ 1500. Heater was placed sideways in outside shelter to fit the new larger water heater, no discussion, no other recommendations. Shelter shed kept falling apart (did not fit). To level heater placed on a few ceramic tiles? Tried to get job completed correctly but never happened after calls and emails. Finally Mike gave estimate to fix original poor installation for more than another better plumber I hired to finish job not done right in the first place before the water heater fell over. Caused grief with my tenant… no bargain here… never again.

We contacted Mike for replacing few old valves in our house. Took him a day to send me an estimate which is fine. $ 900.00 for few valves?!! WOW but since we have used them before we said f*** it. So they come in & fix everything (we thought), minding you I told them I have new appliances & showed them everything. Next day we hire installers to install our appliances so they come in & they can’t install anything. Supposedly the plumber didn’t use right valves. Not only we paid the installers but we had to call Mike again to come back & fix everything & now we have to have the installers to come back again. So I called Mike & asked if I can get some sort of credit for the inconvenience & he basically said no. Oh he said he will give me 20% off next time I use him. Honestly I would not use them because I feel like as a customer I am not aware of pluming & if I hire you, you should know what you are doing. I do not recommend him to friends & family members.

This is a great company. We were having frequent problems with our main line. Mike’s Plumbing came out twice, the 2^nd at no charge. When it had problems again Mike came out and went over the problems and solutions. We decided to go with the hydro pressure cleaning and it cleaned out line of virtually all the roots. He gave us a very fair price but the big thing is that he took the time to explain and show me the problems and gave me a number of options. Everyone that Mike’s has sent out have been very helpful and professional. I highly recommend them and will be using them the next time we need plumbing work.

Manny showed up on time (actually a few minutes early!), go straight to work, fixed everything, and the charges were reasonably priced. He even cleaned up after himself and explained what went wrong and discussed preventative measures. As far as visits from a plumber go, this one was super. We would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others!

I appreciate your reply and your care towards rectifying a bad experience. I will consider your offer when I need a plumber.

My wife and I were out of town last weekend. When we returned home to Studio City, we found a toilet was clogged up. Our daughter had several friends over for a pool party on Saturday. We called our old plumber several times but couldn’t get a hold of him. So we «Yelped» for a plumber and found Mighty Mike. Mighty Mike sent Manny out with his «snake», and he soon found an expensive pair of sunglasses lodged in the toilet line. After Manny removed them everything was back to normal. Manny was fast and clean, and came with the equipment to get the job done. Manny and Mighty Mike are now our plumber of choice.

I’m all thumbs when it comes to anything mechanical or involving a pilot light! I called Mike’s on a late Sunday morning. It was Mike who answered the phone and he was the one who arrived to fix my water heater! Worth every penny! Totally professional and speedy on a Sunday no less!

Our hot water was out. He called me back on a holiday weekend. Came over the very next morning. Figured out our problem quick. Only charged us half the service charge because it was an easy fix. Courteous and professional. Thank you Mike!

This is third time I’ve dealt with Mighty Mike and all three times were consistently great. He makes sure he explains to you exactly what he’s doing, what causes the problems, and what their solution is. The pricing is fair and he and his other partners remain professional throughput the entire visit. I will continue to call him for all my plumbing needs.

I was looking for a plumber to fix a slow leak in a sink and this was the first plumber that actually called me back AND didn’t have his tools stolen off his truck so he was able to stop by our office.
I as given a two hour window for service 9am — 11am and it was met by Daniel, the cousin of the owner — see family run business.
He diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it for a reasonable price. I was emailed a copy of the invoice and receipt immediately.
I would use them again! Thanks for the heads up Unilocalers!

We have been using Mighty Mikes on both our properties [our home and duplex] for a few years — His crew has done everything from fixing faucet leaks, water main repair to new construction install of a kitchen remodel. Recent we had a main sewer line backup — we solicited several bids for main line replacement– Mikes was the most complete and the best price by as much as 50% -
His crew showed as scheduled and on time even with the short notice we gave them.
His crew worked through the day and well into the night running into several obstacles on this 70 year old house and sewer line. Even though the job became far more complicated and time consuming than they estimated Mike honored his bid. Mikes crew was considerate and courteous to our needs though out the job —
Yes we have used several other plumber in the past — the «big» guys the smell goods and independents but have never had the satisfying results we have had with Mikes every time we do business…

I called Mighty Mike after reading so many positive reviews on Unilocal.
Unfortunately, my experience was not so positive…
I had an 8am appointment with Mike. At about 8:10 the day of the appointment, I got a call from him saying he was not going to show up. He said it was an emergency situation. We rescheduled for 12pm on another day.
At 12:15 on the day of the new appointment, I called him, because no one had arrived yet. He said they were running late, but would be at my house in 30 – 40 minutes.
An hour later, I get a text from Mike saying no one will be coming to my house today. Another emergency situation.
Mike apologized, but bottom line, he missed two appointments in a row.
I did not reschedule for a third time.
I understand that unexpected issues arise, but when you have so many emergencies pop up that you miss two appointments in a row, you’re not running a good business in my book.

I had used Mike twice before on fixing a problem with one of my toilets and he did the job, giving good terms if a rate that seemed high, but on a repeat call for the same toilet, he was less than responsive and when he said he was finally able to do the work, between 9 am and 10 am — a time he picked, not me — he didn’t show up, didn’t call, and left a note on the door later asking me to call and reschedule. I won’t be calling back.
7÷2÷2013: Mighty Mike’s response is not true. The appointment was scheduled for the time I originally wrote above — not between 9 am and 11 am as stated in the company’s reply — and I was there the whole time. But I’m glad to hear that the company says customer satisfaction is their top priority because I’ve since discovered that on their previous job, a snake broke and caused a major backup, so I’ll be in touch with Mighty Mike to make sure they have an opportunity to make good on their claim and do what’s right to make amends. Please stand by for more info.

The water heater pump in my place broke down in the middle of the night. It started leaking out of nowhere. I looked up different plumbers on Unilocal.I noticed that mighty Mike plumbing had good reviews and was nearby. I called him first thing in the morning and set up an appointment. He arrived shortly after that. Mike was a friendly and professional plumber. He replaced both the hot and cold water pumps on my water heater for $ 95. Although it was only about 10 minutes of work, I think it was a reasonable price. The only issue that I had with mighty Mike plumbing was the fact that he did not have a receipt for me on the spot. He told me that I would receive my receipt by email. I would have preferred to receive a paper receipt right there and then. However, I would recommend Mighty Mike plumbing to anyone who has a plumbing issue.

Fast, clean, reasonable, thorough, on time… What else is there? He’s a nice guy who is happy to explain things to you and quote you a price up front.

Update: I’ve used him several times now with consistently great results, I’ll never call another plumber, and neither should you!

After having turned MM down for a job, we had a water heater break at our rental property, so we called and he not only remembered us, he was more than happy to do the job — that day — without any problems. Our tenants said it was painless and clean, and they were without hot water for less than a day.
Then, no less than 4 weeks later, our sewer collapsed at our house, and MM redid the whole line from house to the city main in 2 days, in the rain, and we were never without sewage. He even returned on Saturday to repack the dirt on the hole they dug, just to make sure it was flat. They were clean, courteous and always willing to explain what they were doing and didn’t have any problem with me hanging out while they worked. Good guys, good work, good prices!

When it comes to services like this you need to know who you can count on. I know a very good plumber but I wanted another quote just to make sure I’m not paying way more than I should… Now I have 2 plumbers I can call.
MMP did the job (I could’ve done the job but didn’t) very reasonable priced and easy for me to get a hold of them.
I worked out the price with them before they came so no surprises for them on site no surprises for me when they finished.
Hope I won’t need to make this call often but if I do MMP will get a call and a chance to bid for the job, I’m happy.
