Just had ML Schmidt remodel my kitchen and it came out beautifully. Lauren has a great aesthetic and intuitively knows what needs to happen to create the art of a remodel, and Mark is great with color and form. Between the two of them, I felt constantly encouraged to risk getting exactly what I wanted and now that it’s over I couldn’t be happier.

Over the past years I’ve used them for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling. I was initially happy with them but with time I started noticing their sloppiness, lack of follow-​through and slow response. I still think Lauren has great ideas but would be hesitant to use them in any future projects.

I’ve used Marc and M.L. for a number of projects at my residence, as has my father (a retired architect) and extended family. He’s painted my home, full remodels on both my parents bathrooms, replaced their kitchen floor tiles, as well as much the same for my extended family.
When it comes to construction and design, my father is as detailed oriented as it gets since both were his profession. With that said, he only trusts M.L. and Marc to see a project through. Marc’s vision, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail is refreshing. It’s comforting to trust that your contractor will always work to maximize your budget for one of your greatest investments, your home.
He is currently working on a master bedroom/​bath extension for me and I can’t wait to see it through. If you’re considering any work done to your home, I’d recommend giving him a call.
