They have a great selection of great tasting Chinese entrees, and the prices are very reasonable. Their pot stickers are really good! The dough they are enclosed in are soft and gooey. The meat inside is very tasty! Their empress chicken is what we order out every time because it’s the best! If you eat inside, the interior isn’t anything to write home about, but at least you never have to wait. They are not a high-volume kind of chinese food place, like Panda Express is. They do very well with having your order ready within 20 minutes or sooner. The lady who works there is very nice, polite and courteous.

If i was able to give a 0 star i would have had. This place is beyond nasty, silverware is old dirty, the salt and pepper on the table were sticky and had a hair attached to it, and as i was eating a big curly hair came up on my freaking chicken i was so disgusted. I hardly dont recommend this place to anybody not to mention that the lady thats taking the order is very rude… Never coming back.

Decent Chinese food. Their lunch specials are super cheap! Right around $ 5 each! Heard their orange chicken is really good but never tried it. I still think Ings palace on Harlem is much better so I probably won’t come back here.

Very friendly place, great customer service. Sure the décor is a little outdated however the food makes up for it, there mongolian beef and orange chicken are my favorites. Not to mention there prices are even better!

It’s okay but their items are mininal, their flavor is average & their portions are just okay. There’s better takeout nearby

Old-school neighborhood Chinese restaurant with late-70s décor(except for the compact-fluorescent bulbs over every table!). I had egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice. Nothing spectacular … but my idea of basic Cantonese comfort food. Food came out lightning fast. Small portions but cheap, perhaps a lunchtime special. Most of their business is carry out. Bathroom was FILTHY; I couldn’t even touch the soap dispenser. I tried not to look too closely at the kitchen as I walked past the open door on my way back to the dining room… The whole«back of the house» looks like it hasn’t changed(or been cleaned) since this place was built probably in the 60s. Giving 4 stars because I take comfort from time-capsule places like this and am glad they’re still around.

I have found our new take-out Chinese joint. Granted, I’ve only gotten take out once, but it was so amazing — I’m giving this whole-in-the-wall 4-stars. I will adjust after a few more trips if it warrants, but hopefully not! The place has been there forever, and I’ve driven past it a billion times. It is in worn down strip mall, net to the PigIron dive bar. It is a restaurant and you can eat in, but I imagine that nobody really ever does. I thought it was just a take-out place. They probably have seating for 40ish. The place has not been remodeled since the 70’s or 80’s and just looks really-really run down. The booths are an orange plastic, giant fish on the wall, bad carpet, uncomfortable chairs, and stuff laying everywhere. Driving home from work, thinking Chinese sounded good. Didn’t want to drive to Chi-Tung and deal with their shitty parking lot, busted out the Unilocal app on my phone and this place came up. Just a handful of reviews and an overall 3-star rating — which isn’t bad in my book — decided to give it a try. The lady at the front counter was efficient, not friendly, no smile, no ‘thanks for coming in’, nothing. I think the only word she spoke to me was the total that I owed her. I placed an order to go: crab Rangoon, chicken fried rice, mixed governor’s spicy and orange chicken(only because someone raved about it in a past review). Figured this would be dinner, lunch, dinner for the next few days. Food was packed tightly and the containers were nice — the kind that you can wash and reuse — love those! Probably took about 10 minutes to make the food once I decided what to get. The crab Rangoon was great, not the best I ever had, but pretty close to it. Not greasy at all — but almost had a tempura lightness to it and lots of filling. The chicken fried rice WAS the best I ever had. This will be a go-to-get-every-single-time-dish for me. It was full of big pieces of white meat chicken and just so good. The small can easily feed 3 people. The Governor’s mixed thing(can’t really remember the name) — but had chicken, beef, shrimp, and onions — was really solid. I would get again. It wasn’t spicy to me, but I rarely find any Chinese food spicy — even if they say it is. Lots of beef & chicken, not a lot of shrimp, but overall a 4 star dish. Didn’t try the Orange chicken — but it looked and smelled good. Hopefully, the food is just as good next time we get take-out from them. I would highly recommend if you live in the area. Side note — when I was leaving with my order, so was another person. The other person asked if she could have some additional sweet & sour sauce with her order and the lady at the front was not very nice to her — telling her she would have to charge her for any additional sauce. I get that things cost money — but seriously, toss in a few extra packs of sauce and keep a happy customer.

Ive been going here for about 10 years now and i now compare all other places to its food. The orange chicken is awesome, much different than regular orange chicken though. The chicken is White meat and big chicken nugget sized. The combos are a great deal as well they come with fried rice and an egg roll(best egg rolls i have tried). Keep in mind they are closed on Tuesdays.

I have been going to Panda Hut over the last few years. At first it was a consistent 2 thumbs up food, however now the inconsistent way the food is cooked has turned me off. I think there’s a lot of different chefs working in their kitchen and you definitely can tell the difference. When it’s a hit its great but the misses are too horrible to even eat let alone be able to enjoy your food. STICKTO A RECIPEDONTCONFUSEYOURCUSTOMERS!

This is a great Chinese place! The staff is friendly and helpful. We go as a family with regularity. We have not been disappointed yet. But we know when the times comes the staff will be helpful. An earlier post said this is not a dine in place for her. Maybe it is the dated décor, but do not let that stop you. This place is not updated and over busy like Chi-tung, but their food is superior and there is no wait!

Always find myself coming back here… it’s a great duckaway with a friendly cast and crew serving you. Whenever I need a quick bite to eat, it’s totally one that hits the spot for me. My personal recommendation is the beef and broccoli and Mongolian Beef. They are good things to dine on. If you have the chance, dine in more so than out… I recommend this place!

This place is not a place I would«dine in» at, however… they are the best Chinese place in the Oak Lawn/Burbank area. I highly recommend getting take out or delivery from there. What makes them so special? Their Orange Chicken is the best I have ever had. We are talking big chunks of all white meat chicken that makes you go «wow, I never thought cutting into this would reveal milky white chicken — almost perfection!». It is on the spicy side so you have to like it spicy but I bet they would make it to your liking if you asked. Best delivery in the area. Will have food in 30 minutes tops.

I’ve been to this place a few times with the work crowd. First time I went my sticky rice was not sticky… big no-no in my book. I swore I’d never go back until one day I decided to give it another chance, it was actually really good! Apparently they got the rice cooker fixed or something, way to go Panda Hut! I wouldn’t say it’s worth making a special trip out if you don’t live nearby, but if you’re in the area it’s good for some typical Chinese fare. There is a sign on the door that says«We close Tuesday.» I have fallen prey to that sign more than once, how come I’m always craving Chinese on Tuesdays???
