First time EVER in life trying them out. I’ve heard how from all how horrible Papa Johns pizza is so I stayed away until randomly I decided what the hay, I’ve had worse things. My expections were low of course but in the end it’s pretty good pizza! I did the safe bet and ordered thin crust and online. It was easy, the pizza was good, and delivery was just as great and timely. Overall greatness. I wish I did this sooner! Plus specials and coupons galore! Why haven’t I done this before?

I had an old score to settle in Burbank a while back, and in the process of settling said score, I used up all of my energy. My brain sent messages to my muscles that if I did not get some chow, the muscles would have to «give something back,» the same way every damn school I teach at asks me to give part of my salary back«for a show of support.» Anyway, as I drove past Papa John’s, my brain told me that it would leave my(considerable) muscles alone if I went in there and ate. «Plus, dude,» my brain said, «you’re, like, all about pizza!» «I know,» I replied. Into Papa John’s I went. Two slices of cheese awaited me, but as I look closely at them, I could see that they were hard and stale. Turning to leave, I bit myself on my right bicep. What the heck? «Dude,» my brain said, «I told you: It’s either food or muscles. Plus, how bad can it be? You’ve eaten worse.» «You are right,» I responded. I paid for the pizza and I ate the pizza, and it wasn’t that bad. I’ve had worse(in college). But I said to my brain, «Man, we’re like 60 years old and we live in Chicago; surely we could have been eating better pizza, right? Right?» «You’re right,» my brain rejoined. That’s why neither I nor my brain will be going back to Papa John’s; it’s so breathtakingly average. I can’t describe it any other way. I guess if I had nothing to compare it to, I’d be happy. Hungry? Just go to Vito and Nick’s, Barraco’s, Roseangela’s, etc.

Worst customer service ever, the manager is 100% pure ignorant. They over charge me $ 10 and didn’t get them back. They make me call some other place and they transferred my call back to the store and nothing happen.

I like to order Papa Johns from this location after the White Sox score 5 points. There is a promotion code of sox5 that gives you 50% off your entire online order and that can be a big savings. **I have to say that I think this restaurant is better than the 2 star review they have on Unilocal.Any place that can thrive in this area is above average. There is a LOT of competition and some people are just nasty and critical regardless of how well their experience went** I order a lot of pizza delivery in Chicago. And it can be pricey, so I look for ways to get more meals out of it or save money. I have good luck with a couple and this Papa Johns is one of them. Pizza is always fresh and hot. They always get the order right. And when I can get the 50% off my entire order code, I’ll usually order the 50 wings for $ 19 deal. If 3 of us split a pizza and 50 wings we are each in it for about $ 10 apiece and they have some damn good wings at Papa Johns. You will find that places like Giordanos and Barracos and Nonna’s have good pizza too but its a lot more money and will take longer. So nice job to the people at Papa Johns at 7856 South Cicero. I’m glad you are there, and start delivery early!

Never been inside and always had delivery. It’s not the best tasting pizza in the world but the delivery and service is normally fine. When I had unexpected company over and they stayed longer I ordered. It was inexpensive thanks to coupons and everybody seemed to enjoy it.

I’m a fan of papa johns pizza especially their bbq chicken bacon but when you have to wait an hour and 20 minutes for a pizza who cares about taste. All management did was give me half off my next order. Which I can get anyway from one of their promos so again who cares.

Yuk, Yuk, Yuk. I was looking to buy 2 slices, when I noticed that this pizza place sells by slice. I said okay, great let me go in and order.(1st time customer) So at the time of placing my order, the cashier told me that they ran out of slices but, they were making some to put in the oven. So as they were making it, I see some guy literally touching his nose(and who knows what else) and then grabbing the cheese… AREYOUFREAKINGKIDDINGME!!! I told the girl that I did not want the slices anymore. I told her what I had seen as she just gave a «oh sorry»…really I said that is gross. I will NEVEREVER buy from this place!!!

The worst! Pizza’s are not that good, but certainly not worth the headaches! I ordered online, I had an email confirmation with the TIME at the top! Took over 2 hours to deliver 2 pizzas and I’m less than a mile away! I called to complain and got someone with a heavy accent, asked for a manager, he said he was.(Found out later he was not). Multiple phone calls, even to corporate, got me nowhere. I would have settled for an apology, maybe a few points to my account and ‘it won’t happen again’? Forget it, nothing but promises to get a call back and in the end I spent hours on the phone and online and this had gone on for a month and a half before I realized Little Ceasar’s is across the street and only $ 5!!! A shame, I was so happy when they moved into the neighborhood, I deleted my account.

Was here to try their pizza for the first time. There is not much to say. Chain pizzas are all pretty much the same, cheap and fast. Papa John’s is better than Little Caesar’s in my opinion and about equal to Domino’s and Pizza Hut. If you want cheap and fast, this might work for you.
