This is HANDS DOWN the BEST mom and pop pool supply store in all of SoCal! Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a sweet couple named George and Mary who were beyond welcoming!
First off, the store had been COMPLETELY remodeled since the last time I had visited it which was years ago when the owner was some oriental gentleman that didn’t care about appearance… Now, everything from the walls, to the ceiling, to the shelves and even the floors were redone! This tells me right off the bat that the new ownership/​management cares about their store and wants people to come in.
Secondly, I originally came in just for chlorine liquids but after talking with George and Mary I couldn’t help resist buying the rest of my pool supplies from them, such as; a net, brush, an extended pole and even a much needed pool motor! All for an amazing deal that would have costed me a fortune at any larger pool supply store…
Lastly, for me the most important thing is that they provided me EXCELLENT customer service! Not only were they both extremely knowledge about pools and how to clean/​maintain them but they gave me advice on how to check my water levels properly to make sure that the pool is as best as it could be.
All in all my experience was one of a kind. The drive is far for me but I don’t care because it’s people like George and Mary that will keep me being a customer for life!

I’m a new homeowner and I maintain my pool without the help of a pool guy, when I have a question I ask George and he is always more than helpful to provide a solution. About a month ago my Kreepy Krawler stopped working, unbeknownst to me the pressure was building up. George asked for my address, drove to my house, backwashed my filter, called me at work and told me what needed to be done. Now that’s what I call service!
Hands down the best pool supply in burbank.

I have had paradise pool almost 25 years. Last two years my pool dirty. Last summer new pump, new filter, creepy crawler, etc had pool emptied and acid wash done.
Many hot days I cannot even use my pool. It’s yellow, brown, dirty within 24 hours after cleaning.
I have called, written… nothing
I pay each month and most of month pool not usable.
Before my pool sparkled, after cleaning it was good at least 5 – 6 days. I am embarrassed having people over to swim as pool no longer looks clean.
When you call, unable to leave message, just beeping noise.
I love the fellow that comes each week but pool doesnot remain clean. The cost went up immediately after new ownership and customer service not present.
Last year I spent thousands on all new equipment, still dirty, dis colored pool.
No interest from paradise to rectify problem.

Very nice people. I was talking to George about a problem I was having with my Pentair 2000 series filter. He jumped in my car and came to my house and had a look at the problem and he suggested an easy fix that would postpone a replacement of the filter. I always get my chemicals from them as they are so pleasant.

George, Mary, and Doyle were super helpful and friendly. They took a genuine interest in my concerns. I am a customer for life.

I was so pleased to meet George at Paradise Pool. He assisted me with providing safety equipment for poolside, for an online video on water safety. He was so helpful and gracious, and his employees helped identify products that could help our viewers. I am very grateful to Paradise Pool and Spa — their generosity may save more lives!

They were really helpful, saved me money with a part to my Hayward DE filter (didn’t try to up sell me the whole enchilada for substantially more!) i’m going to use this competitively priced local Ma. & Pa Store rather than the totally useless Chain Store (rhymes w/Nestle’s lol) from Arizona that has f-​d me around countless times!

I recently called about an issue I was having with my pool heater, expecting to have a technician sent out accompanied by a few-​hundred-​dollar invoice. Instead, the person who answered the phone carefully explained what was happening with my heater and informing me that it was completely normal heater operation. While he probably cost the company some revenue on this occasion, this kind of customer service ensures that I will be going to Paradise Pool & Spa for all of my pool needs in the future.

Needing a pool repair service desperately, I went to my go to source’Yelp” and found Paradise Pool and Spa for a rental property we have in the valley. Since we live in the south bay there has to be a certain amount of trust not only for us, but also for the companies we deal with since we are out of the area. Doyle saved the day! We had a filter that was spewing water due to a large fracture, and it needed to be repaired pronto. Doyle found the part, ordered it and installed it the next day. My hero!
I also earned a few points with my husband as he does not enjoy dealing with rental problems.

Just bought a home with a pool in less than perfect working order. It’s been a trial and error learning about pumps, filters, cleaning, etc. I’ve tried a few different pool businesses and THIS IS THE PLACE.
Forget Leslie’s. I actually scheduled an appointment with one of Leslie’s maintenance guys to look at pump and heater. They charge 100 bucks just to show up and don’t do ANYTHING besides tell you how much money it’s going to be to install new everything… which I didn’t even end up needing. Saved about $ 3500 there.
Paradise is the place where all the independent pool maintenance/​service guys go to get their supplies, so you know the prices are right. I just bought a kreepy krawly pool cleaner from them and Doyle took it out of the box and put it together for me in about 5 minutes. Compare that to the hour it would have taken me had I bought it elsewhere and carried it home in the unopened box.
Do yourself a favor and skip Leslie’s and hit this place. All of the employees are really helpful, primarily Doyle and Carlos.
