Words cannot express how impressed with this shop I am. I rang a buzzer to be let in and as soon as my feet landed past the front door I was left in awe. The space is clean, well organized, and loaded with gear out and ready for testing. From modulars, groove stations, drum machines, pedals, pro audio gear, and synths they have plethora of equipment that would make any synth nerd weep. On top of that the staff was very polite, helpful, and friendly. The shop isn’t that big but I spent 3 hours wandering around from station to station. I walked out feeling highly satisfied with the whole experience. This shop has set the bar for my synth shopping experience. It’s a shame it is so far from my home in northern California. Swing by this shop and support them. The world needs more places like this.

This might be a good shop to buy new gear, BUTITSDEFINITELYNOT the place to get anything repaired. I’d highly advise you to try another shop before coming here. I took my rackmount Roland synth here and from the get go it was bad. When dropping off my gear, I was told it would take about 2 weeks time and someone would get back to me about an estimate. A week passed and no one got back to me. I had to call them to see what was going on but apparently the manager was on vacation and I had to wait before getting any sort of estimate. OK fine… I can deal with waiting a little while. When he finally got back to me I was told that they had actually started working on it. I still have yet to receive any kind of idea of what’s wrong, how long it would take, or how much it might cost. Kind of bizarre that they would start fiddling around with my gear without telling me about any of this. But I let them spend some more time trying to figure out what’s going on, because its already in their hands. Anyways, I check back later the following week and they tell me that they put 5 hours into it and its eating up money at this point. The manager is shifting the burden on me, making it seem ASIFITSMYPROBLEM for bringing them something that they can’t fix. Not the best way of dealing with your customers considering that’s the whole point of a repair shop. He tells me their is one last thing they can try and that is compare it with a fully working unit. I oblige and let them take one last shot. I get a call a few days later from them randomly and I’m told that after 7 hours of labor it’s been magically fixed. I’m told that the bill will be over $ 500, but they won’t go into detail into what they had to fix or what was wrong. After some back and forth with the manager they agree to lower the bill so it’s not as ridiculous. I pick up the synth and spend two days checking it out. While some patches sound fine, and all 8 notes and voices sound fine, others do not. Half the time, 1 or 2 notes are completely out of tune or do not make any sound at all. I decide to call them about it, somewhat reluctantly, and I’m told to bring it back in. Considering that I don’t exactly live close to them at all, and with the experience I’ve had so far I’m not very happy to say the least. At this point, I have almost no trust in how they operate. They won’t answer any questions as to the work that was done on it either. I refuse to have to deal with them again and they just leave it at that. Although they finally refund me for a repair they didn’t actually do, considering its in as bad or worse condition than before, I still had to spend a lot of time and several trips to their shop. They made it seem as if i was being completely unreasonable the whole time as well and that they do «repairs for the people». YEAHRIGHT… In the end, I have a synth that’s not in fully working condition. Also, just found out that their tech is some guy that has little to no experience and probably shouldn’t be doing ANYREPAIRS. I took the synth to another shop and it becomes clear that their repair guy really doesn’t know what he is doing. He tore some traces, causing issues with the other ICs responsible for the other voices(which were perfectly working before he touched them). So yeah… unless you are ready for dealing with all this, I’d just try to find another tech. This is not the place to go to.

This is the coolest synth store there is! I just recently got into Eurorack, and they were beyond helpful with my order. Great customer service, excellent packing, and very quick shipping, even across the country. They were truly a pleasure to deal with and I hope to give them more of my business soon. Thanks guys!

Needed some Jupiter 8 slider caps in a pinch and Perfect Circuit Audio came through for me. The team there seemed really on their game. Highly recommend to everyone.

I’m impressed. Very straight forward. Great guys and great service. I picked up a rare vintage synthesizer off of them and they gave me a fantastic price. After a while one of the components inside started going out and it started acting funny. These guys insisted that they either give me a full refund or fix it for me, my choice, free of charge, shipping included. This thing is 50lbs, huge, and I’m on the East coast. I deal a lot in old synths and I know that they’re happily spending a lot of money to make me satisfied with this deal. I’m really happy with these guys, and would/will buy from them again.
