Popeyes

20 minutes in the drive thru for a simple 12pc fam meal. I don’t even get a thank you, sorry for the wait, or have a good day. Gave me my food and closed the window.

Probably the worst Popeyes ever, i got there and there was just one person ahead of me .He finished his order and i figured I’m next, keep in mind there was 4 workers and a person in the back making the chicken, the workers were talking about how they wanted to go home and just messing around. It literally took 8 mins for someone to acknowledge me and take my order. Sadly they didn’t have any spicy chicken and the wait for that was another 10 mins, they didn’t have regular mild breast or thigh, in other words they didn’t have anything. But yet here they were goofing around and whining about going home. I went with tenders and they were decent, the coleslaw was horrible it tasted very dry and bland. They only give you one sauce for your tenders like if they’re gonna get charged for giving out more. Food was average, service was terrible and overall this location is a dump, dirty tables there’s no spoons or napkins out. On the way out I heard a customer try to order spicy chicken, i just heard the cashier say its gonna be 10 mins. So i guess be ready to wait 10 mins if you want spicy chicken! Wont be coming back to this particular location ill just go to KFC

This place is awful. Not only did we wait 20 mins for our order when we were two out of the four customers in the place, they told us that the forgot about us all together. They ended up giving us a few more chicken strips to make up for it, but every piece was pink on the inside. Not public school pink, some pieces were still raw!

Where do I begin even, well Atleast I can say the Unilocalers are 100% accurate. First off, I was the only person in line and they still took 5 minutes to actually approach me and take my order. Second I asked for a side of mash potatoes and 3 ranches… They messed that up somehow (once again I’m still the only person in the store) they gave me fries and 2 ranches instead so I had to ask the very ignorant fat black girl for my 3^rd ranch, this bitch literally just took my order and forgot I asked for 3 ranches. She got the manager and he gave me the ranch. All that for ranch… Now let’s move on, since nobody was their except for me I guess that means it’s ok to play Maury on the tv loud as hell and laugh at it like wild animals too… WRONG ! That was my Que to leave this dump and never come back. Very disappointed. Get it together Popeyes.

Let me first start off by stating that I currently live in the West Englewood area on the Southside. With that being said, this is the most ghetto & ignorant Popeyes location I’ve ever been in.
I came by tonight to get some Rip’N Chicken & maybe an apple pie. Pull up to the drive thru which is about 4 cars deep. I’ve been told that drive thru gets priority, I guess that thinking doesn’t apply here.
I park, go in & the restaurant is not busy inside, just 1 customer at the counter. I see twenty-​something aged female employees just looking shiftless & unhappy. The lady leaves the line, so I step up. The BITCH at the register starts talking on her earpiece asking someone about what time they’re getting off. Afterwards which, she just walks away wearing a sleeping bonnet on her head! Who the Hell works in a damn sleep bonnet?!! I see at least 3 other workers just looking nonchalant about it as if this is the way business is supposed to be done.
Luckily, a Hispanic young lady steps up & asks to take my order. I order my Rip’N Chicken but they don’t have the delicious sauce that goes with it! At least she let me choose my side instead of the fries, and when I got my order the girl wasn’t petty & gave me an extra sauce without charging. Plus they didn’t have any apple pies, which turned out to be fine because they charge $ 1.49 for them at this location. Other Popeyes charge around a dollar, so I wasn’t going to pay that no way.
My food was good, but that ‘service’ is ridiculous. I will not call the store for a manager, I think I’ll contact corporate because the mess needs to be properly addressed.

Worse service ever!!! Ignorant people when I say ignorant I mean it told me my tenders would be 4min after I paid and asked if that was fine sure no problem bull shit 14 min never apologized once and didn’t even give me sauce never fails there go maybe 2x a year because of the service always the same she didn’t even smile

Intercom is barely audible.
I waited 20 minutes for chicken which would have been alright but;
Chicken was under cooked
Missing two orders of fries

Worst Popeye’s ever! I love Popeye’s but this one is awful. The manger here doesn’t care about the costumers doesn’t care about the staff. She is disrespectful to everyone and arguing with costumers. Anyway I went yesterday and there was no line, I stood in line and waited to order. Have in mind that the drive Thur is full. The three lady workers are in front by all the chicken screaming «what do I do? I don’t know what I should do? I don’t know what you should do? I need to go home my girlfriend is here»
The guy who already ordered was saying «what’s so hard about putting chicken in a box? I’ll go back there and grab the chicken myself its right there.»
The lady who was with him yells out «can I get my food?»
And that’s when I yell out «Can I even order»
The worker looks at the the couple and she says «I don’t know»
Then she’s says «I want a refund I’ll go somewhere else»
And the worker told her «hold on»
She didn’t make her way to me to placed order she just walked to the back.
Another girl came up and said «there’s no biscuits «
At the point I left. This Popeye’s is the worst Popeye’s its always so dirty and I always get cold food. Terrible costumer service. Awful

Terrible! Pieces of chicken are not well seasoned, not well fried and too small. Want spicy? Forget it, it tastes bland! I know they are busy and must get the food out but the one on Ashland is superior in quality of food and service and yet it is much more busy than this one! Service: polite and a good attitude but too slow to get orders out. I’ll NEVER go back. I’ll just stick to something else unless I want my fix of well seasoned perfectly fried good sized chicken then I’ll just go to Ashland Avenue in Chicago.

It ain’t Willie Mae’s. It ain’t Edna’s. It ain’t Stanley’s. It ain’t Chicken ‘n Spice. But Popeye knows how to satiate the sickness of a fried chicken and butter-​laden biscuit craving that ensues after a long night of drinking.
Everyone occasionally gets a case of the SICKNESS that causes major fried food cravings and Popeye always comes to the rescue. There would be much irony if Popeye fried his chicken in olive oil. Et tu, Brute?
