My favorite place to relax and enjoy a cold beer, good food, nice atmosphere, and great service. Cool outdoor patio. The staff is always friendly and attentive(the manager Anthony always greets me and makes me feel welcome). Homemade onion rings and the veggie burger are my favorites, but there is something for everyone. I take friends here all the time and they always love it. Mixed crowd of all kinds here. Highly recommended.

My husband and have been going here for the past couple of years. You can’t beat their service. The staff is very attentive and a pleasure. However, the food quality and has definite changed. Burger is not a «Tin Horn burger». They used to get their bacon from Handy Market, which is AMAZING, and the BLT did not have that bacon. It seems there has been a change in the food provider, and unfortunately it’s showing. Definitely a place fun place for a game to enjoy their friendly service and beer selection, but not for their burgers.

Great place for a beer and pub food. Waitstaff is friendly and fast. Ask for Tiffany’s section ! but everyone is great. Good space in the back to do work or have a conversation if it gets too loud in the evening. Will be back.

We’ve been going to Tinhorns in Burbank for 5 years. The mushroom cheeseburger is outstanding. The portion is huge and the taste is memorable. If you want a wild west atmosphere with a friendly waitstaff Tin horns is the place. The manager, Anthony runs a tight ship and the feel of the place is laid back.

To me it’s always about the people! Great service good food. It’s small minimal shack but the people that run this place make it great. Love the draft beer here and Anthony the manager is always on key making sure your attended. Nice cozy feeling with warm staff to serve you.

Cute western-y bar that shows a variety of sports. I really liked my jalapeño burger, but my husband’s steak sandwich was so-so. Service was decent, but not great — not sure if that’s because they were prepping for a big party for which they were closing the restaurant. Not a tooon of tables to sit at.

Look, this isn’t haute cuisine. If you want a bar with smiling, friendly, periodically cussing staff who will first remember your face, subsequently your drink order, and eventually your name, well, this is your new neighborhood haunt. Specials every night of the week. Fantastic burgers, such straightforward goodness. And MIKEISTHEBESTCHEF. Carne asada tacos on Tuesday nights. Burger specials on Wednesdays. The fried pickles are a Midwestern girl’s wet dream. You’ll thank me. Smooches.

I have such mixed feelings about Tinhorn. The food and happy hour deals are really great but the combo of slow jam rock and sports is an odd one. Classifying yourself as a «sports bar» because there are a few tvs seems like a bit of a stretch. The service was definitely slow and… Forgetful. Took 15 minutes just to get our credit card back. I like the old time feel but the place smelled like stale cigarettes.

Came in on a Saturday around 4pm with zero expectations. Was really hungry and passed Tinhorn Flats. Had wanted to try it so went in. Ordered sliders and tacos. I don’t know if it was just because I was so hungry, but wow, the food was really good. Bartender was seriously slammed but was incredibly nice and did her best to be as attentive as possible. Good pour on the moscow mules as well. Will be back.

What happened to Anthony? and what happened to the Heinekens? I had a bad experience a while back and had not been back in quite some time. I wanted to give it another chance so I stopped by last week, was properly greeted. I asked for a Heineken and a food menu. 4 minutes later, the young lady behind the bar states that there is no Heineken available. The young lady stated that they had OTHER beers. My response: it’s not just about the beer Hun, it’s about the experience & Thank you as I walked out. Oscar, My name is Baret Lepejian, owner of Tinhorn Flats. Couple things– First, Anthony is my cousin. He’s an amazing manager and bartender but he is also still very young. While he loves working at Tinhorn Flats, he wanted 6 months off so he could go travel the world, literally. I would never say no to anyone, especially Anthony. He will be back after the New Year. Second, we were out of Heineken for 2 days only because we just invested in a very unique and expensive Heineken draft system. This very amazing system delivers Heineken beer with ZERO preservatives and literally, will blow your mind how delicious the beer is. If you liked Heineken before, like i do, then the new system will blow you away. I’m sorry you caught us in the transition but that’s what’s up. I hope you realize, when someone leaves a 1STAR review, that simply hurts our business. I hope you will reconsider your review and know we are making decisions to make Tinhorn Flats better every day, literally. Thanks, Baret MYRESPONSE: Greetings Mr. Lepeijan, a ONE star review is exactly what it is. I am not and never have complained about Anthony, he is an exceptional employee and wonderful person. He’s the one that invited me to Tinhorn Flats — you guys have AMAZING burgers by the way. Anthony can tell you that I’ve had bad experiences here, not just ONCE. But three times, I’m a firm believer of SECOND chances. But I had to leave a review for what it is, and it was a bad experience. These events happened: I WAS a fan of your tinhorn flat Facebook page and Anthony asked me to come in, we have a common friend on Facebook, we had a wonderful conversation and I met Brit that day… I think it was her. So Brit has to leave and asks if she could close my tab so the other server can start me with a FRESHTAB.(I don’t like to be forced to close my tab just for the TIP, but I guess it’s part of the service.) I finish my heineken and fill out the tip and total on the receipt. Anthony stepped away to take care of other customers and I am still sitting at the bar with an empty bottle. Anthony comes back like 6 minutes later and asks how I like it so far… I am not happy that I’ve been sitting here at the bar with an empty bottle of Heineken and the Payment book in font of me. He says: well the girls see that you closed your tab. That’s when I interrupted him and said: No, she closed my tab because she wanted her tip. So why doesn’t anyone ask if I need something else? I’ve been sitting here at the bar the whole time, ask me if I need anything even if I don’t need it… It’s the correct way to do it. Anthony apologized for their mistake and then I came back a few more times. I came back again and had a few Heinekens then I just sat at the bar with an empty Heineken bottle for more than 5 minutes, in the meantime… Regulars walk in and are happily greeted and tended to.(Such a great feeling to be recognized as a customer) I sat in front of a gentleman who was washing glasses on the other side of the bar… He noticed my empty beer bottle and never bothered to ask if I was OK or needed something else. After a long 5 minute wait, I asked the gentleman washing glasses: Who is in charge when Anthony isn’t around? He quickly replied: Me. That’s when I asked for my tab. I did relay the message to Anthony by the way. I have even taken my 3 yr old son, he was 3 yrs old at the time to your establishment, sat inside and waited 7 minutes and NOBODY even noticed when we left. Anthony was also contacted regarding this. Every customer should be treated the same way, it doesn’t matter if you come in 3 – 4 times a week or if it’s your first time… You want that person back for more. I also hope you realize you only have 1ONESTAR review and not three. Enjoy your Sunday! Baret L. You certainly have the right to spew whatever opinions you have on the internet. The good news is, as the owner, I get to choose my clientele. You will not be served at either Hollywood or Burbank Tinhorn Flats again. Thanks for your kind consideration. Who and What does this guy think he is? the internet calls these people CYBERBULLIES. You do not intimidate me one bit. Too bad I cannot change my one star review, as HALF A STAR does not exist. Cubs bar in LA? You bet! Not just for Bears games! Great burger and fries! Reasonable prices and a super friendly staff. Thanks guys. This is now my postseason HQ for Cubs baseball! Worth the drive all the way from MDR.

I can’t really say much about the drinks, but the food is alright. The burgers are decent quality and pretty good! It seems like the meat is fresh and high quality and the veggies on top were crisp. The steak sandwich was kinda fatty, small and nothing special. The steak fries were alright. Foodwise, kinda the definition of a 3 star place. It was fine but I wouldn’t really go out of my way to go back. I do however enjoy the vibe of this place. Lots of sports going on, crazy chicago fandom(even though the server was wearing a st louis cardinals hat???), cool halloween decorations. Service was just about average. Friendly but not super fast or anything. It is kinda loud though.

Went for lunch with some work associates. The place looks like a old saloon from the outside. But the look works well with the interior. I had the bacon cheeseburger with skinny fries, and I must say everything tastes awesome. I will definitely be going back to try some other stuff in the menu. Found a new place to hang out and enjoy a great burger!

I had a nice experience at Tinhorn Flats, meeting friends for pork chop night, so I’m giving it three stars. If you wanted to come for cheap beer and to catch up with buddies and to watch the game, this might even be a five star establishment! But as far as drinks and food at a reasonable price, it’s more of a two. Granted, there isn’t a glut of great restaurants in this part of town — it’s pretty old school — but everything we ordered tasted like char. I had a completely tasteless, except for char, chicken burrito. The burger eaters reported char. And even the people who brought us there for the pork chop special said it tasted like char. Not mesquite like from wood chips in a BBQ, char like the stuff you scrape off the grill. For the same price, I could have had a really good Chipolte burrito and I’m sure the burgers could be beat in Burbank. Our pork chop friends said they were tougher and more well done than they’d had them before, even though they asked for medium. But you’ve got to applaud Tinhorn for having such an ambitious menu! Other than the food, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a cowboy themed dive bar. Lots of cheap beer, charmingly tacky décor and regular looking folks. It has a nice vibe, I’ll give it that.

We’ve been to Tinhorn a couple of times now and have always had a good time. Swing the saloon style double doors open and feast your eyes on the place. It’s a Western, bar, burger joint, late night pool spot??? Too hard to describe but that’s irrelevant. The only thing I can tell you is that the drinks are moderately priced, 4 dollar IPA Wednesday was a nice, new find. The food is good. Not overly priced and you also feel like you’re not just getting average pub food. It’s standard for us to order the fried 50⁄50 app. You have to be specific when ordering because it’s not on the menu. Half fried pickles/half fried jalapenos. It’s a pretty big plate for 5 bucks and so good. We finally tried the burgers last trip. Handmade ground beef patties made daily? Ha. You’re joking. Until you try one. Melt in your mouth medium rare. I stand corrected. No frills on the burger but also none needed. Steak fries that accompany the meal are also good. Whether you sit at the bar, in a booth, or a table on the patio, you’re bound to have a cold beer and something good to eat. The group of people who frequent this joint are also as diverse as the place’s concept. Makes for a good time. You’ll see.
