If you’re on the WB lot this is the place to get snacks, crew supplies and even DVDs and blurays. This is mostly a place for crew to fuel up but this place comes in handy. Bonus is that it’s open til 5 and opens at 6am… just double check holiday hours.

They call it work but I call it fun, or else I wouldn’t be here! Lol

I love the guys that work here. They’re really funny and cool. The DVDs are also pretty cheap. So are the snacks and various food items that you can grab here.

If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s giving back the money I worked so hard for to whoever it is that pays me. It always seems to happen this way. I don’t know how many countless thousands Fox Studio Store has of mine over the years, but it’s a lot. In reality, it’s hard not to buy from the company stores. Though I think I’m a little spoiled when it comes to these places. The Warner Brothers version is really up there on my list. Mainly because unlike most studio stores that offer a fair decent discount on their own productions(their own DVD’s and other titles), this one bumps it up a notch and offers stuff that a home depot would probably handle. The Mill Store on the Warner lot handles all the supplies that the studio needs in set production. So they order a lot of lumber and construction equipment. The benefit here is that since the studio orders these materials in such bulk, they can get a discount on it. So you can buy from them or have a special order in on what you need and you’ll get a pretty decent price. Talk about something interesting when you can special order stuff through the studio. Sure as hell makes you feel important or powerful, now if only I could get a better parking spot. Considering my grip work experience, there’s not many shops that actually carry all the tools that I need. I mean, you can’t really go to Home depot and ask for a Foamcore or some Duvetyne. You try finding Gels and diffusions at Lowe’s… There was times when I thought I could probably fix up my place with all the stuff here. I mean, Lumber! Lumber!!! Who else could say they used material to fix up their place that was once on a Hollywood studio? Oh yeah, and the key thing. Milk Crates. Do you realize the looks you get when you try to take a Milk Crate from a dairy shop? They sure don’t like it. You can also get WB shirts and other company products to show off your willingness to be a corporate whore and walking billboard ad. When it comes to Studio stores, I really loved Warners. They sure do offer a lot.
