I’ve been training with Lynwood three times a week since October 2014. He’s been instrumental in changing my mental perspective on training and exercise. He’s awesome when it comes to knowing when you are actually hurting or you’re just tired. He will continue to push you so you can achieve your goals, but not in an annoying sort of way.
I’ve never felt stronger and I am never bored during class. I hated going to the gym by myself and not knowing what I should be doing. I would always be afraid of hurting myself. I can’t emphasize how much my life has been improved by going to Lynwood. I can now run several miles without stopping and actually enjoy it.
I could tell you all of the great things that have happened since I started his class, but I think you should check it out for yourself.

Lynwood puts together really fun workouts that are full of challenges and variety. He has the patience to help you when you are having trouble getting things right, he is full of energy and seems to know exactly how to motivate each person the right way.
His gym is a nice, clean space, in a nice little area, no one staring in windows, not too many people in a class. It’s perfect. And a great price!
I was in decent shape when I started but had high blood pressure… I’ve already lost 15lbs, my blood pressure is back to normal, and my eating habits have improved. I did not work out before I started with him, my only activity had really been softball once a week. But Lynwood was great at gaging my level and then slowly increasing it without me really noticing (now I have some pretty sweet muscles). AND, (who knew) I like the workouts so much that I’m really upset if I have to miss one

I had a nasty bike crash almost a year ago now. Wasn’t sure if I’d be able to walk again, much less get back on my bike. Lynwood was a crucial element in my recovery. He knows how to train, how to come back from an injury, and how to keep it fun and motivating at the same time. He’s always making me be the most I can be. I’m in the best shape of my life and stronger on the bike than ever. Lynwood has everything to do with me being able to come back as quickly and as strong as I have.
His gym is small and personal, with all the equipment you could possibly need or want to get you to your goal. It’s never crowded so no waiting for machines or weights. Personal training at it’s best.
The Saturday bootcamps are amazing! TOUGH workouts but still fun, with Lynwood and his sidekick Evi keeping the room moving and motivated.
I’ve worked out with a lot of trainers, and Lynwood is by far the best in the business. If you’re curious and want to give it a try, I would recommend going to one of the Saturday bootcamps. You’ll get a great workout and you’ll be convinced after one session!

Lynwood is the W in WF Athletics… well, long story. Let me just say that Lynwood has been whipping my butt into shape for over a year now and I wouldn’t be nearly as healthy without his help. The gym is a small, personal space built for personal training. No crowds of people walking through or waiting to use your machine. Just one-​on-​one and group training.
The great thing about Lynwood is his dedication to fitness. He trained with the Canadian track team and is clearly invested in building a gym with all the tools to help you get stronger and be better than you were last week. This isn’t a muscle-​head gym (but I’m sure they could help you bulk up if you want) and they train all ages and levels.
For me, it’s completely working. When I started, I couldn’t finish an hour workout but now even when my schedule only allows me to show up one day a week, I can make it to the end — AND it’s always getting harder. That’s a good thing, I’m making progress. Lynwood is always throwing the latest techniques and equipment at you. That makes a workout that is always new and never boring. Believe me, I know boring: I used to swim a lot of laps.
To wrap it all up, Lynwood is great. He keeps a clean gym with great equipment and motivates you to finish workouts you would never be able to complete on your own. I say drop in for one of the Saturday 8am group sessions and see what it’s all about. If you like that, you can set up time for some personal training.
