I needed a knee scooter assembled, and of course the first place I called was Burien Cycle. Toby was friendly, helpful, and kind. I had my scooter back in a day. Burien Cycle delivers outstanding customer service and offers a fair price for their products and services. Thanks Toby, and crew!

I love the bike I bought from these folks and the awesome service they provided me. It took me three tries to get the right bike and they were very patient and supportive. Plus they provide 6 months free service. My friend bought her bike at their Renton location and has been very happy with her experience. Great locally owned business. I recommend it without hesitation.

I was so sad when bicycles west said they where closing the Burien store. But soon was glad because one of the guys who worked there bought it and turned it back into what it was! A great local bike store that not only sells bikes, but does repairs also. And the take the time to show how to do repairs yourself. Thing that impressed me most, they do small repairs on my «Public» bike, even though they don’t sell «Publics“they always treat you like you bought your bike from them. Always support local businesses!

Caution of the up-​sell.
Went in there for a $ 15 part (and got it) however after he tried to sell me a $ 100 setup.
Do research (like anything) before hand. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful however its clear they probably make commission.

I absolutely love this place! The staff there have been so helpful and supportive. Every time we have brought a bike in for repair, the work has been done quickly, effectively and at a fair price. I don’t know what we would do without their expertise and advise. I would never use another place to repair a bike and hope to one day buy a bike there because they have lots that we are currently drooling over. I can’t say enough about this place!

Formerly Bicycles West, these guys are great! Don’t let the name change fool you, it is different ownership, but same location. Super individualized service, knowledgeable and a great selection. I bought a gift certificate and they made a few different notes/​efforts to make sure when my dad came in to fill his vague request for a «bike tire» that he’d be taken care of.
