Howard and Marge

It was my first time coming in to the boutique and what a great experience. I was down in the shopping area with my son and notice this cute store. I went in and the shop owner (Robin) was so very helpful. The assortment was great and very stylish. I loved the experience and will go back. It is hard to find a local business with more urban chic product assortments. Go Howard & Marge!

I had such a great experience shopping here! Howard & Marge Boutique allows us to shop for the most fashion forward & unique items right in our own neighborhood (Burien).
Robin, the owner (so sweet & funny!) helped me put together an outfit that I probably never would have picked for myself and I LOVE IT! Everyone compliments me on it. I was also in need of a gift for my niece and found a beautiful eco-​friendly necklace along with some Tokyomilk hand lotion.
This shop is why more people these days are sticking with the «Shop Local» mentality.

I do not know why some of these small businesses in Burien are totally sabotaging themselves!
This one clearly is for the following reasons:
1. Bring your dog to work — do NOT YELL at me (the customer) for opening the door in fear that your dog will escape. You screamed at me and made no apologies for it, even though my mother was clearly holding YOUR DOG back from getting outside. Here is an idea, put a long lead on your dog.
2. How about talking to your customers and not just your friends. A quick hello and asking what we were looking for would have been nice. Sorry we did not go to school with you or that we do not have kids that go to school with yours, but we are very faithful Burien shoppers who deserve some attention.
3. Learn to use an inside voice. The volume at which the owner spoke was completely distracting.
4. Put price tags on things. There were some super cute knee high socks that I kept gravitating to, but contained no price tag nor was there any signage about the product. People do not like having to ask for the price of things. Be kind and label them.
We have no intention of returning. Feeling sad and frustrated.
A side note: I am not giving the one star rating because of this experience. I have been in this store several times before this and every time the owner and/​or person working behind the counter seems completely consumed with something/​someone else.

The employees at Howard and Marge are always so friendly and so very helpful. Especially Zoey. The clothing is of very good quality and although fairly expensive, the quality is worth the price. Ive been shopping there since they opened and they always have a good variety and are constantly switching it up and bringing in new styles.
