Strom’s Custom Cleaners

Seems like a good place. Their prices sometimes are reasonable; sometimes it’s on the spendy side. The woman owner is nice and efficient.

I have used this cleaners for many years and today will be the last time. I will never use them again. I had lost my coat and wondered if I had left it in our favorite Phở restaurant. I had called several times but the language barrier was difficult so I needed to go back weeks later when we were in the area. I found my coat but it had been in a pile of many others and was a very wrinkled mess and smelled of food. I took it to Stroms for cleaning, and went to pick it up the owner had a hard time locating it and it was not in plastic and was still a wrinkled mess, I was told it had been cleaned, I asked why it was still wrinkled and was told they would press it and I could come back later that evening. I went back and my coat is a mess never pressed and still smells of food, I was told that it was hand washed and that’s how this coat should look, with the wrinkles. I purchased this coat new and that is not how it should look. I was told I would have to pay at least half of what they had quoted, not wanting to waste more of my time I paid and thought a review would be best to let others know that you may not get what you anticipate to be a clean professional dry cleaning of your cloths.

My cats pee’d on my brand new comforter, took it there thinking there would still be some kind of stain left over from it. To my surprise it looked better than when I first bought it. It took a week which was a bummer but she did ask me if it was urgent or if I could wait. Very nice people!

I have been a regular customer here for years. Mrs. Chung is extremely helpful and accommodating, especially with emergency repairs. Everything she mends for me always comes back neatly pressed & hung even when I have told her not to bother because it was washable. They always do a nice job for me on the cleaning as well.
I held back a star because they can never seem to get every stain out of a soiled work garment, and their prices aren’t the best. They did also lose one of my garments, but I didn’t have my ticket to help track it.

I’ve been taking my clothes here for years and love them! The owner is really nice and my clothes always looks great. She uses environmentally safe cleaning products which is a huge plus.
If you need a seamstress, Mrs. Chung is great. I always take my hemming to her. She cleaned my wedding dress, rugs and drapery as well all with great results!

HORRIBLE!!! I took a St. John dress to these people to be cleaned for my daughter’s wedding. It never occurred to me to try it on until an hour before the wedding and I couldn’t believe what a mess they made of it. The dress is wool knit with a silk collar and the whole thing was distorted — sleeves dramatically different length, hemline higher on one side than the other, underarms stretched so they were 4″ lower than my underarms, a scorch mark on the white silk collar. Needless to say, I couldn’t wear the dress. When I went back, they kept steaming it and making it worse and saying «It’s good now»! I told them it wasn’t and they needed to compensate me somehow and they said they thought I bought it damaged at a used store and then tried to make them responsible. DON’T RISK YOUR NICE THINGS WITH THIS CLEANER! Wish I could give it minus 5 stars.

«36 years and you the only one…» By this the owner meant I was the only guy who had ever brought in a suit that had been covered in concrete. I actually fell into soupy sloppy wet concrete wearing my best suit! Not an impressive move on my part, but on the other end if the impressive spectrum was Strom’s…they got it clean! I was sure it was totaled. Took some time but I was ok with that, they saved me hundreds of dollars. Miracle workers!
