I happened upon Burke Gems and Beads one day when I was trying to find a store that was open on a Sunday. The other two stores I go to normally are both closed Sunday and Monday. So I draw I drove all the way out to Burke and the woman who owns it was super friendly and she was willing to incorporate what I needed into her next order because it wasn’t there. She talked me about her classes and she had just a general really positive attitude which I appreciate. But I guess what most of you care about is the selection. As you probably know, every bead store is different from each other. I found her selection to be my favorite so far because she has lots of natural stones and crystals. And she offers classes that all were very interesting. Her prices I felt were very reasonable as well.

This store contains a very wide variety of necessities and unusual goodies. Any beader, gem-​lover, beginner, or just a woman who loves jewelry would have a blast in this store. Their varieties of gems are endless and gorgeous. They also have a growing selection of Miyuki seed beads, findings, and crystals. It’s a wonderful place with wonderful people and service.
