Great owners(bartender and chef) that truly care and seem to be energetic and passionate. Atmosphere is fresh and comfortable. Menu was varied and well prepared. Very affordable and intelligently portioned. Fantastic draft selection and a nicely stocked bar. Note: it seems sort of upscale but even dirty-fresh-from-the-trails mountain bikers are welcome. A new addition to my short list of favorite eateries!

My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time last evening. We called ahead and were told they were having some Mexican specials so we were anxious to try them. I ordered the enchiladas and my husband the fish tacos. When my meal came it was a plate of three dry tortilla rolls with about a tablespoon of green salsa on the side. I told my sever there must be a mistake I’d ordered the enchiladas and she replied, «I’ll get the cook» the cook came to the table and told me «that’s how she makes enchiladas,» and added, «so do you want them?» I didn’t she took the plate away and I declined the offer to order something else. My husband took a few bites of his fish taco and did not like them, he put his plate slightly off to the side of his place. The cook saw his plate and said, «you done with this?» He said yes and she took the plate away without another word. The bill came and we were charged for the uneaten tacos and not the sent back enchiladas. The cook continued to walk by our table waiting on others and would not look at us. So I will most likely never return to try anything on the regular menu. The cook was so angry at us for not liking her food I wouldn’t dare go back. Update I wrote a similar review at this restaurants Facebook page where she replied with personal, insults and said she’d really rather not have«someone like me «at her restaurant anyway so try it if you like, I guess I’m banned!

Awesome food!!! Wide variety of food and all were excellent! I know that because each person in our party tried different dishes and all were very tasty. We tried the chocolate cream pie and canola. Both were well done. Excellent ambience and service was the best I’ve had in a long time!

Went there Friday night with my wife and we had a great time. While the beer list isn’t deep it had some interesting offerings from Quebec which we enjoyed. We had the bruschetta to start, while good it was a very small order, get two next time. My wife had the scampi which was done well, perfect al dente pasta and the shrimp were cooked well. I had a veal special which was also well made. We finished with a tiramisu which was pretty well crafted. Overall, I think a slightly larger portion size on the pasta dinners and apps would be nice but they are doing a damn fine job at the goggle so far. Pizza and burgers looked great going by…

Really nice change up to choices in East Burke. Anyone craving Trout River pizza… it’s back! Try the carpaccio or ceviche… both excellent. Service is good but make a reservation so you won’t be disappointed

Brand new and on the way to becoming a locals favorite. Food was great. Italian theme with a few pub style entrees as well. Something for everyone. I had the eggplant and prosciutto rottini w/penni. My wife had the bologneise. Both were excellent. Prices were very reasonable, but everything is alacart, so expect to pay if you want a salad w/dinner. Service was very good, and will get even better once the dust settles. Looking forward to returning.
