Khan Nabeel, DDS

Dr. Kahn is great. I’ve been going to his office for about 18 months and it has been a great experience. He is knowledgeable, has a gentle demeanor, and is kind and accommodating. I never have to wait when I go in for an appointment, which is nice. Other dentists I have used have had me waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, even when I had a scheduled appointment, but not at Dr. Kahn’s office. Several months ago I was having some pain and I was able to get an immediate appointment. His staff is very friendly and competent. We are a military family and they accept our MetLife insurance, which is very important to me! I’ve recommended his office to at least 3 of my friends. I don’t know why I haven’t done a Unilocal review for him yet. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn and his staff.

I have been avoiding going to the dentist for several years now due painful past experiences. I put off seeking a new dentist closer to my home or office for quite some time until last week when I broke a tooth during lunch. A quick Google search indicated Dr. Kahn was less than a mile from my office and they advertised Sedimentation dentistry. Although I did not feel the need for that level of service I was comfortable knowing they practice sedation dentistry if the pain would bother me. Dr. Kahn saw me the same day to look at the damage and felt it was OK to scheduled an appointment the following week. Earlier today (⁶⁄₁₇) I went to his office anticipating a similar experience to every dental visit in my past. To my surprise and gratitude I have never had such a wonderful dental visit. The staff is friendly and helpful and not just because they are told customer service is important. From the time you walk in the door you can tell they actually enjoy their work and care for their patients. Dr. Kahn makes sure you are comfortable before starting any work and informs you about everything he is doing in the process. You can opt for a headset to listen to music if you prefer. I wanted to be on top of this today. Before I knew it he was instructing me on my follow up visit to replace the temporary crown with the permanent one and scheduling teeth cleaning. I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort during the entire visit and truly had the best experience of any dental visit in my life. I am finally excited about receiving the dental care I need and even some cosmetic work that I always wanted. I am fortunate to live close to his office but after today’s experience it would be worth the drive from anywhere in Northern Virginia.
If you have been putting off a dental visit due to fear of the dentist or past experiences you will like this office, the staff and Dr. Kahn.

I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr. Khan and his staff. Admittedly, I dread going to the dentist but they made me feel so at ease and comfortable that I was actually able to relax. I hadn’t been in longer than recommended after having a baby and they didn’t lecture me. They instead focused on how good it was that I had come in and assessed my dental situation.
I did have some level of gum disease that required a deep cleaning. To a dental phobic lady, that term conjured all sorts of bad images. In actuality, it was relatively pain free and my teeth and gums feel so much better. I saw Jessie and she was gentle, kind and put me at ease.
Given what could have been a very unpleasant situation, I am so relieved that I found the caring and knowledgable staff at this office. From Cecily at the front desk easing my nerves with a welcoming smile and cheerful conversation, to Jessie’s obvious knowledge and dedication to helping me achieve my dental and health goals, to Dr. Khan’s thorough and conservative approach do addressing my dental needs, I could not be more impressed! I’ll be back without hesitation for my next appointment. I think they’ve helped me to conquer my fear of the dentist!

I’ve been going to Dr. Khan for years and the experience I had last week is another clear reason why I’ve continued to take me and my family’s teeth to him lol. It wasn’t until recently that I noticed my 6 year old son had 2 additional front teeth growing behind his original 2 front teeth. One of the very pleasant front desk staff members quickly consulted Dr. Khan when I had called in to report this and they said that my son’s teeth needed immediate attention (removal). They were quick to schedule me in the very next day first thing in the morning to accmodate us. Dr. Khan and his assistant made my son very comfortable and he had no idea he was getting a shot to numb is mouth. Dr. Khan has a very kid friendly sense of humor that my son could relate to that made the whole process a smooth one. He does also have a nice stash of «treats» for the kids… maybe that is why they always look forward to visiting «Dr. Khan» hmmm. In addition to his great staff I must say that the technology utilized is above average to the other dentists I have visited in the past. From the Xrays to the big screen TV in the waiting room (kids love watching the disney movies), everything appears top notch and up to date, even the décor. I’ve been recommending all my friends and family here for years and they have had nothing but great things to say.

Dr. Khan and his staff are always friendly and comforting. I have had tons of work done and they are always able to assist in an emergency.
