I love shopping Radio Shack — but this store left me cold by not standing behind the product. Three days after spending 25 dollars for a In-Ear Stereo Headset, I returned it because the plastic cover over mic fell apart. Radio Shack’s product review on their website has numerous reports of bad design and rates 2.5 of 5. They have to know it is a problematic item. The store employee rudely said they never had problems with it and suggested I broke it somehow. Store staff refused to replace item and then later refused to refund. They repeatedly said they could not resell item without the original box even when I said I could get replacement leaving they the box. And why would they want to resell a broken phone headset to another customer? Only calling Ft. Worth corporate headquarters and filing complaint got refund. They have a 100% return policy for web purchases and I never was able to get store to state or show their return policy. I will shop other Radio Shack stores, especially the store in Springfield at 6401 Backlick Road, Springfield, where they are always very friendly and helpful on the tech stuff. But, this Burke store has problems.
