Worst costumer service I waited 45 minutes for someone to get a calculator for me from the back and while waiting I saw three people leave because no one would help them

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Staples today. Last night I placed an order for two simple 8×11 prints and uploaded two PDFs to the website. I asked for it to be ready at 1 pm today (and paid a rush fee for that!) as I needed the prints by 6:30 for my parents’ anniversary dinner and wanted to allow some leeway in case something went wrong.
When I got to the store at 5 pm, I asked for my order and Irina told me they had a problem with my file and couldn’t open it or print it. She was rude and completely unapologetic; she didn’t think to call me or email me when the computer couldn’t open my files (a simple PDF!) She told me to go home and email the file to
. I went all the way home, emailed it as she asked, and when I came back she said there weren’t any attachments to the email. I literally pointed to the screen where you could see the PDF and PNG files. She saw them, rolled her eyes at me, and clicked it, but again– the computer couldn’t process them. The whole time she was being really rude and totally unapologetic about the fact that a. the system couldn’t print a pdf that had been uploaded and viewed on the website and b. she had never bothered to call me and tell me my file didn’t work.
Eventually, the manager (I think his name was Ali) came over to process my refund and the computer froze up twice while refunding me my purchase on my debit card. He tried to shift the blame to me and told me I was using the wrong card, even though I only have one card to use. I finally got my refund in cash at 6 pm, after an hour of dealing with this.
Luckily, I was able to go to Walmart, where they printed my products in 10 minutes. I was able to get the gift to my parents just in time. Between the failure to fulfill my very simple print job and the absolutely horrendous customer service, I will never be coming back to this store and will try to avoid Staples in general.

Stay away from this place. They have the worst customer service, they have one checker open most days despite the length of the line and the «customer service desk» just pushes you to stand in the regular, long check out line. Use Amazon. Zero stars, but Unilocal doesn’t allow that.

I often go to this Staple’s when in need of office supplies for home. They have a reasonable selection of items and knowledgeable staff that are helpful. I usually buy computer paper here for my home printers. They often have specials on various items. I recently bought a fax for ½ price (it was probably a discontinued model).

I go to this Staples at least once a week. I’ve found some great deals here… They had some invitation paper that was originally about $ 12 on sale for $ 1! Love this place.
