Finally found a great barber after going multiple places in the Burke area. Prices are similar to everywhere else — $ 15 for a basic cut. They take their time with you and pay attention to details. The shaving cream and straight razor at the end is always great. One minor drawback: because they take their time on you, sometimes there’s a bit of a wait on the weekends. Such is life in northern Virginia for any service that is good. I recommend this place for kids as well.

Poor haircut for the price, and the guy left my face and forehead literally covered with hair. He was friendly, but at the end of the day, competence is really more important. Unlikely to go back.

Great barbers. Friendly employees and fair prices. That’s why the wait is often up to an hour for a specific barber. I won’t say which barber is my favorite because then my wait will get even longer if more people go to him:) I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else in the area for a haircut.

We came here to have my 15 mo old son’s first hair cut after reading good reviews. The wait was about 25 minutes, which was a bit much for entertaining him, but not terrible. The lady who cut his hair had him sit on my husband’s lap and put a little kid cartoon like apron on him and an adult one on my husband. My son did not sit still at all! The lady was a saint and got his hair cut with great patience. He didn’t cry or freak out, he’s just a busy body. It was $ 14 for a child cut. We’ll go back again.

Hair cut was fine, however the clean up was not good. No attempt to blow hair off of my head, when I asked for gel the barber just dipped fingers in gel and stuck it on middle of my head did not move it around or anything. When I walked out I had to do it and had gel and hair stuck all over my hands. I got hair cut around 2 pm so I had to still work. I won’t be back here due to when I do get haircuts it’s generally in middle of day and have appointments still to run. Only go if you have time to go home and shower afterward. I am itching as I am typing this.

I’ve been going here for at least 5 years. I got the recommendation from my brother who had also been going here for a couple years before that. I found out that my dad and my older brother had been taking my nephews here for a long time. When I walked in they quickly recognized me and asked if I was related to them. Apparently my whole family goes there. I even saw the owner at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. I didn’t recognize him at the time until way after he had waved to me. They are a very friendly.

I’ve been going here nearly a decade. I’ve had many barbers here cut my hair but Thuan is the best. After he’s cut your hair once, you’ll never have to tell him how to do it again. He’ll just go to work on your head and leave you with a perfect cut. $ 14 for men’s haircuts. Worth the money. And everyone here is friendly.

I really thought I had found a gem when I went here, because I got a really superior men’s cut by a lady whose name I didn’t catch(perhaps Anne?), who really knew how to cut hair. My hopes were high when I went in for a follow-up cut three months later. At that time, I had a young man who I sensed was the owners son cut my hair, and he did a terrible, terrible job. For example, the hair length trimmed over each ear was uneven and didn’t follow the curve of the ear. Hey, all I was looking for was a simple, straight-forward«executive» business cut — nothing fancy. I was extremely disappointed at the results second time around, so much so that I have not gone back since. The shop was hopping, so I’m still willing to bet the other barbers/stylists have some talent. I just didn’t get one of them second time around.

I’ve been going there for almost 15 years and have been a happy customer the entire time. When I need a haircut and am living in DC, I don’t even consider going anywhere else. Solid results across their entire staff. Always a wait(good for them), but the queue isn’t long(good for us). The warm shaving cream is a nice touch. Always have the games on during football season. Very personable owners. Can’t underscore enough how much I like this place. Don’t accept plastic but I happily plan ahead(I never have cash on me), I think this says a lot considering there are many other places locally that do accept plastic.

I have been going here for 4 years. Great shop and friendly staff. I, like John have been going because of Ann… Ann is a wonderful barber. Sadly, today they told me she has quit. Does anyone know where Ann is working these days?

I’ve been groomed by TD Barber Shop(Anne) for past 8 years. It is a family owned Vietnamese shop. Husband and wife are the first ones you see when you enter. Fast and easy. It can get crowded on weekends but they have a full staff to support it. Cheap. One thing, I don’t know why they don’t get a credit card machine… well, I have an idea but… they should get a credit card machine.
