I called to make an appointment for a hearing impaired friend. I gave them all the personal data: name, birthday, address and then they asked for a phone number for her for future calls. What? She said they do NOT text patients or email?! Isn’t this a business that is supposed to serve the hearing impaired? My optometrist in Crowley send text confirmations for eye appointments — its called SERVICE. Please get it together… your patients need ALTERNATIVE ways of communicating with you besides the telephone. Take advantage of an APP if you must, but really this is ridiculous.
