I can not say enough how much I DO NOT recommend this dr!!!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Don’t even try speaking to a person when you call, it’s impossible. When you call you are prompted to select whatever it is you are calling for but there will be no person at the end of any of those options. You are only allowed to leave a message for the dr. So you could have a long wait for whatever reason you are calling, or you could get three calls in 10 minutes by an unorganized staff to make an appointment. You could also recieve a call 3 hours after you have been to the office and addressed the issue that you called about before you even went. Not a good office to play phone tag with. I hope for your sake you dont have any plans, jobs, or anything else going on if you are communicating with this office by phone. The girl working at the desk told me that some people will actually just come in to the office to make an appointment or ask a question because it is easier than trying to call. (That ended up being a great tip for me today)
My son’s school could not recieve a fax for the dr note, so i went all the way back to the drs office (because calling is a joke) to get a note to take, and she would not give me the note, instead she calls the principal to get an alternative fax number because she refused to just give the note to me to send with my child. Is a piece of paper too much to sacrifice for you maam? Well, if someone were allowed to handle the phone other than dr control freak, it would have saved me that time and frustration. But, that’s ok that was probably the straw that brought me here. I really think at times shes purposely complicated and frustrating. This doctor speaks only ridicule and is absolutely horrible with bedside manner or any type of respectable interaction. I took my son to her for a problem with his foot and ended up just telling her I’d rather have a referral after she did absolutely nothing for his foot and wanted to give him his yearly check up (I’ll go more it what those are like in a moment) uh, nooooooooooooooo. I would have changed pediatricians a long time ago if there was one accepting new patients in burleson. After today’s visit, I decided we will be making the trip to ftw for future visits with a new dr. Even the nurse from my referral dr was confused at the complete lack of attention i believe she called her herself. And to my amusement, I just received a call from my son’s grandmother, (his guardian and also has consent to take my kids for medical care) saying she called her and stated she didn’t treat my child today for his problem because my childs grandmother wasn’t there! Um. Hello! I’m his mother… you TRIED to give him his yearly exam and I am the one who said I’d rather not all I wanted from her was a referral. Now with that being said, if that were the case and I was not his MOTHER but just someone random that did not have a legal consent to treat form, they should be sent away and not even been taken into a patient room for care. NICE TRY DOC. Now, If you want to be told your child is over weight, obese or even morbidly obese (it doesnt matter if they are a little heavy or even if they are thin and athletic, I know it sounds ridiculous but if you know anyone that’s been here, everyone will tell you the same thing, yes to the child) and exersize, all while her face is in her tablet. In my opinion if this were the case, perhaps she should find a better way to reach out to a child and or the parent of a child with weight issues… she’s rude. Who speaks to a kid that way??. I could go on and on and on… but those are the most common complaints from several of the people I know with children that see her. You can start your own compilation if you’d like, but I’d find someone to take your child to that will help them in their time of need, speak with compassion, interest, investment, care, concern, and cure them. None NOT ONE of those things describe this dr.
Like I said do yourself a favor GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
